JJ stretching his arms out wide, a genuine sigh of relief escaping him. 「Finally! You'd think they'd let you out just like that, but no, they ask even more unnecessary questions.」Devon looking at the frenzied journalists being held back by a rigid line of Militian security forces, a look of mild amusement on his face. 「You going to address the masses, little brother?」JJ looking at Devon, scoffing with exaggerated annoyance.「C'mon, Devon, we're twins! Why don't you stand in for me like we did in the past?」Devon laughing sharply at the suggestion. 「Nah! How about we get Joshua to do it, since he's such a brilliant lawyer?」Joshua glaring at his brothers, visibly annoyed by their antics.「I swear, if you two weren't older than me.... Ooohh, you guys know exactly how to push my buttons sometimes!」
Detective Itadori approaches them, cutting through the edge of the crowd.
「Sup, Detective.」Itadori in good spirits, offering a respectful nod.「Hey, J. Good to see you beat the allegations.」JJ scoffing boastfully. 「Of course, I did. We both know the Third Department would miss me if I didn't show up.」Idatori chuckling. 「That's true. Oh, and...」He leans in, whispering confidentially to JJ.「...it seems like the Third will have their own little mascot besides Shizuko.」JJ's eyes widening in genuine surprise.「No way! Damn, I really need to stop being so effective at what I do!」Itadori: 「True.」His demeanor turning serious.「But, on a serious note about Jack Adams, we found one of his secret labs down on one of the remote islands off the mainland.」JJ's face hardening instantly, adopting a focused, serious expression. 「I see. Did you send anyone in?」Itadori shook his head.「No, we didn't. We couldn't risk it. What is our next move?」JJ letting out a decisive sigh.「Thomas, Sergei!」Thomas and Sergei, two tall figures, immediately step forwardSergei: 「Yes, Brother? Do you require assistance?」JJ chuckling lightly at the directness.「I love how practical Russians can be 100% of the time. One of Jack's labs has been located. Are you boys up for this?」Thomas standing taller, honored by the responsibility but slightly surprised.「Are you certain, Big Brother? We were taught that anything related to Jack should be handled exclusively by you.」JJ contemplating Thomas’s words for a moment. 「Hmm. I know. But you both will be eighteen in three years, and that is typically when the solo hunt is issued. Think of this as essential practice, okay!」Sergei: 「Truly?」JJ had a proud smirk spreading across his face.「Yes. Besides, you leave in five days since it's Eve's birthday today.」Sergei and Thomas snap into a perfect, simultaneous salute.Sergei: 「We will not fail you, Big Brother.」Thomas: 「Yes, what Sergei said.」They turn in unison and stride away with a new purpose.Itadori looking at JJ, slightly confused. 「You sure about that, JJ?」JJ: 「Yah, besides...」He looks over at the cluster of women and family, a content smile gracing his features.「...I'm getting a little bit too old to be worrying about that fossil.」Devon bursting into laughter. 「Damn! If twenty-two is old, then you'll hate turning thirty!」Itadori also laughing heartily. 「Your brother’s right. When you reach that age and settle down, married women will want to sleep with you far more than they do now!」He claps JJ hard on the shoulder. 「Now listen, you tall bastard, don't betray your true self. Am I understood?」JJ nodding seriously. 「Don't worry, I won't.」Itadori: 「Okay. I'll hold you to that.」He gives a final nod and departs.Joshua chuckling softly.「Seems like you had a role model all along.」JJ: 「Okay, you all got me. C'mon, let's go before they get mad at us.」Devon: 「Facts.」

Eve standing happily in front of the gathered guests. 「I'd like to thank everyone who came to attend my birthday party. Um... even though...」 She glances at JJ, a mock-annoyed expression on her face. 「...one of us went to trial on today of all days!」 Soft laughter sweeps through the party, and she smiles, softening her tone. 「But that's behind us now! Please, enjoy yourselves to your hearts' content!」The guests cheer loudly.JJ walking over to Eve and pulling her into a warm hug. 「Happy 13th, Cuzy. And sorry about the trial, but if I didn't do it today, they would've dragged it out longer than necessary.」Eve giggling into his chest.「I know, but...」She looks up at him, a confused question in her eyes.「...did you really sleep with Haruka and her sisters?」JJ releasing her, chuckling awkwardly.「Err... Do you really want that present of yours I've been working on?」Eve playing dumb, her eyes wide. 「Wow, the members of 5-Star Glam! Let me go say hello!」JJ scoffing playfully. 「Smart girl.」Eve runs off toward the idol group, and the doorbell rings. JJ pauses.【 Huh? Who could that be? 】He walks to the front door and opens it, instantly freezing in shock. 「Hinata?」Hinata chuckles a bit nervously, adjusting the gift in her hand. 「Hey, JJ. Um... Is the party still on? Please tell me we made it.」JJ stammering, still processing her appearance.「Y-yes. C'mon in.」They step inside and head back toward the party.Jasmine: 「Ay! It's Hinata!」The Samuels Family: 「Sup, Hinata!」Hinata chuckling softly, overwhelmed.「Um, h-hey guys.」Eve rushes over and gives her a big hug.「Oh, happy birthday, Eve.」Eve: 「Thanks!」She catches sight of the small boy accompanying Hinata—Akira—the reason for JJ's deep perplexity.「Sup, Ez! You good?」Akira nodding yes, slightly shy.「Um... Yes, I am.」Eve letting go of Hinata. 「I'm so glad you could make it, Hinata!」Hinata chuckling gently.「Yah, I mean, the whole family is here, so it's only normal I came too.」Eve: 「So, Cuzy? Does he know?」Hinata letting out a shaky, nervous chuckle.Eve: 「Oh!」She giggles conspiratorially.「So, that's how it is.」Hinata: 「Y-yah.」Shizuko and Sora run up to them.Shizuko: 「Hi! I'm Shizuko Mary Samuels, and she's Sora Samuels. And who are you?」Akira: 「I'm Akira Ezekiel.」Shizuko studying him intensely.「Hmm...」She looks over at JJ, a serious expression on her face.「Papa, you and Auntie Hinata need to have a long talk. An extremely long one.」JJ still reeling from the shock.「Wait, why?」
Shizuko raises her fist and lightly fist-bumps Akira. For a startling second, both Shizuko's and Akira's hair color, including their pupils, instantly flash Crimson Red before snapping back to their natural Sepia hue. The entire party goes silent.
JJ now utterly speechless, staring at Hinata.「Hmm... Hinata, let's go to my study. Now.」Hinata: 「Err... Okay, but where do I put this gift?」Eve politely takes the wrapped present from her hands.Eve: 「It's okay! I'll take it for you. You go with Cuzy.」Then she breaks into delighted giggles.Hinata's voice was barely a whisper.「Um, okay.」
She and JJ leave the main party area, heading for his study.
Hana looking at Aurora with intense curiosity.「JJ has a son?」「Yep.」She giggles mischievously, loving the drama.「One guess which prominent Family Hinata is from.」Hana when realization hits, she gasps, clapping a hand over her mouth.「Is that why she disappeared from Japan all those years ago?」Aurora chuckling softly.「Yah. JJ in his younger days was... wild... when it came to taking revenge on those who wronged him.」Hana giggling, a mix of awe and amusement.「Damn. He truly is a force they'll never stop hating.」
