Chapter 3:

Thr Examination Process (Part-1)

Rise Of The Ghoul System

Ayden turned around to see the parked busses, he noticed a bully from school. He quickly shifted his gaze and focused on the busses. "There were a little over 20 people on the bus I was one, and there are four 10 busses parked. We are a little over two-hundred 1st years"

"Attention, for the second time. The examination will begin!" Maverick shouted once again in an annoyed and harsh manner, from the platform he stood on

(Lackluster right ikr)

"There are currently three divisions; The Combat Division, The Science Division, And The Support Division. All divisions will at least learn basic combat and survival techniques. I will now explain the divisions. The combat division is for those who have attack-oriented abilities, the support division is for those who have support-oriented skills such as healing, buffing, and scouting. And finally, the science division is for those who have useful abilities for working with technology such as drones, mech, and much more. I recommend to those who will enlist for Combat-division not to underestimate the other divisions, you never know when someone develops a new capability in their ability" Maverick explained

It makes sense, Ayden thought, people in the science division can fight with drones and use bombs and useful tech. And people in the support division with an ability like buffing-others may learn how to buff themselves, he thought.

It seemed some didn't take what Maverick said about "Underestimating the other divisions," as some were giggling and whispering.

Sergeant Erin Hunter now spoke up "We will now explain the examination. Everyone regardless of division will Test Their: Strength, Agility, Stamina, And Health. The health one is the toughest one as you will spar against drones and it will hurt so prepare yourself "

When abilities were first introduced to humans, they quickly learned that some were more powerful than others that didn't mean that an LVL1 Water Ability And A LVL: 1 Telekinesis Ability were not of the same proficiency, but telekinesis had a significantly higher chance to get a better mutation and get on a higher LVL as it progresses. Abilities were different from one person to another person, but that didn't mean that someone couldn't have the same ability as someone else.

Out Of 100 willing people that got experimented on the 12 keys were the Only ones who survives and first to gain abilities, when they got experimented on there cells didnt immediately fuse with the power. They distributed their experimented blood to people who were willing and those who were willing to take their blood were those with the most powerful abilities, those who got the blood was called "The Blooded" and passed it on only in their bloodline and the 12 keys did the same. After that artificial ways to make ability were discovered.

The 12 keys and those who took their blood didn't teach how to get the ability, distribute their blood nor make an artificial version of the ability with their blood. They kept it only within their bloodline. These were the ability users that chose not to share it with the outside world.

The 12 keys and "The Blooded Ones" weren't the only strong families when most of the first artificial abilities were made these were the strongest ones as the artificial ability mutated faster than any artificial ability within the bloodline and that it had unique abilities that were close to what the rare ability crystals beasts dropped, these exclusive abilities were also made by the genius Marcus Danbury and those who got them were called Articiticy's

The families with these types of abilities, whether coming from the "Blooded" The twelve keys or the Articiticy's bloodline you were called a Quantityx's. Of course, some families were still powerful even tho they weren't Quantityx.

Some Quinx needed special equipment to work with their ability, for example a gun.

Unluckily for Ayden, he didn't inherit his father's supernatural genes to hold the ability, but his sister did. Her ability was a lesser version of telekinesis, but better. She can levitate and control anything she has touched, and the object has to be within two meters range Ayden's father Dan's telekinesis could levitate and control anything without the restrictions, Lilia, Ayden's sister had, but Dan couldn't levitate himself but Lilia could.

Maverick and Erin looked like they wanted to say more but then two hooded figures appeared from behind Maverick And Erin and whispered something in their ear and gave Erin a paper "A-List, huh" someone whispered, the two hooded figures soon disappeared in a flash as fast as they appeared

(Reminder Teleportation Quinx Ability and Spatial Quinx Ability are not the same things

Erin looked back at the crowd and said "We will now open the gates, when we go in you have to sign for what division you are going into" as soon as Erin said that the white gates slowly opened, and the next moment the whole gate was wide open.

Everyone started moving forward, Ayden was in a mixed feeling of excitement and nervousness as he was in his own thought with clenched fists. As Ayden stepped through the gate into the big, expansive yard. The ground was the same as outside the gate it looked futuristic and high-tech. To the right of the gate, there was a billboard with a map showing the school and the way to where their Skill Exam would be.

The map was really complicated so Ayden chose to just follow the students in the front, and it looked like the only thing he needed to do was walk straight, after walking for around 20 seconds he arrived at the exam area. people were lined up behind white stripes on the ground. Luckily for Ayden, he was one of those that was furthest in the front. He was a part of the third row that was soon to be called.

"Can Student Ayden Wayne Come Up?" A female voice said from in front of the field wasteland
