"I have several magic bags for gathering fruit. I'll give you one. You can just put them in there."

Mayutan gratefully accepted Aneta's offer.

"I've never even been able to have a normal conversation with a man because of these eyes... Mayutan, would you go out with me? If you reject me, I think I'll spend the rest of my life alone."

Aneta gazed at Mayutan with sorrowful eyes as she spoke.

"...All right. I'll think about it. But not until our journey is over. It's too dangerous to bring you along, and if these two were to look into your eyes again and lose their senses, we'd be in real trouble."

As it turned out, the Cat God they had just met at the shrine was also the deity of matchmaking.

After parting ways with Aneta, Mayutan fed Libera Fruit to the two who were still tied to the large granite boulder.

"Meow! This tastes absolutely horrible, meow!" Tanimaki shouted at the top of his lungs.

"Urgh! H-Huh? Why am I tied up?" Debiru asked in confusion.

The two of them safely regained their senses.

But what would become of the budding romance between Aneta and Mayutan?

It seemed certain that Aneta's eyes would continue to cause trouble.

Then again, with Mayutan's remarkable intelligence, finding a way to cultivate Libera Fruit surely wouldn't be too difficult.
