Chapter 4:

I - Graveyard of Souls

Origin's of Shadows

While the two mutter inconveniences about each other, a two-meter tall skeleton tries to attack them from behind, who are wearing a black helmet and carrying a simple axe.As Charlotte was standing behind Lena, she could hear the creature's movements, she couldn't see it as she was so busy discussing it. And then, she quickly lashed out with her spear to stop the ax attack towards her friend, which was a success.Obviously she pushed her friend out of the way to do this. But she had to pull her entire body, to the point where she was snuggled into Charlotte. Lena took this cue to blow fire into the skeleton's face. Which made him take a few steps back, but nothing that affects him too much, making the girls run away. They ran non-stop with no direction, just going. But unfortunately they didn't. The skeleton managed to reach them and gave the protagonist an ax, causing her to be hurled head-on against a very sturdy tree. The impact was so great that she was stuck to the trunk."Charlotte!" - Shouted agonizingly her friend. Which logically was the second look in the attack. But she managed to jump on the ax just barely, but she tripped and rolled to the tree where her friend was.The skeleton took advantage and jumped about five meters up, with the figure of a beautiful lion with the moon watching him. Lena was so scared that she could only wait for her possible death. But there was a solution. The restless little protagonist who enjoys being unconscious, backflipped just as the monster was going to hit her partner's head exactly. And she hit her spear exactly on the red pearl that was on his forehead, which made him disintegrate and "drop" that pearl intact. As soon as the monster had evaporated, Charlotte had banged her head against Lena's hair, causing her to fall on top of her unintentionally."Are you okay?" - the heroine spoke innocently."Yes." - Lena replied with her face flushed and turned to the side. The protagonist looks to the side and sees that the dropped red pearl, and out of curiosity, picks it up."What is that?" - looking very directly at lena, still on top of her.“It's probably a ruby, it should sell for a lot of money in c-capitals.Charlotte gets up from Lena without even realizing what she's just done and looks to the west. That direction pointed to a giant castle, possibly would be the exit to their world."Let's go there." Lena was saying, getting up and dusting off her skirt."Why?""Because that's possibly where Luke wanted us to go."It looked like they were being challenged by their own fate. Both were looking at the castle in front of them, it seemed to be on fire inside. And so they walked there. It was pretty close. They arrived in front of the huge gate, and apparently there were no guards around, that's what they thought.Out of nowhere, the gate opens fully in a matter of a measly second, and they are greeted by twenty fiery zombies. The place was wide open and completely black, with a few windows and no furniture or objects.Burning Zombies are basically a superior race than an ordinary zombie. They have a lot more intelligence and their bodies are gray in color.Lena, without panicking, crouched down and opened her hand touching the ground, causing a fire to appear circling and passing the entire surface between the zombies. And a second later, the fire rose ten feet above the monsters, causing them all to burn and die one by one."How did you learn this alone in a shitty town?" - Charlotte said in amazement."Little secret!" - Lana spoke, with her little finger on her lips. After that, the two walked up the long staircase towards the top."What's on top?" - said the protagonist curiously."I have no idea."They walked for a minute and arrived in a very different room. It was extremely gray and decorated. There were several weapons, objects and books. The girls decided to search the room and pick up SUVs. After a while, Lena had tripped over a corner, and inadvertently dropped a book along with it, which fell on her head. Out of curiosity, she decides to open it to check.NecromancyEnhancementBlue FireDarknessFireLena had become interested in every topic, only more specifically in blue fire. But when she went to look for the page where she was explaining the matter, Charlotte interrupts her showing a red dagger that was in her hand.“Lena, look at this dagger I found! I liked it, I'll get it."Of course this scared her, making her unwilling to throw the book in her face. The unlucky girl fell in reaction, and was extremely frustrated.
