Chapter 1 / Episode 1: Srinivasulu vs Ren Part 4 – Epic Battle Round 2: Andhra Vallabha Form vs Red Thunder Knight

Srinivasulu dropped to his knees, panting heavily. The toll of the Shweta Varaha Murthy transformation had left his muscles burning. He looked across the ruined landscape at Ren, who was also gasping for breath on the dirt.

Srinivasulu wiped the sweat from his forehead. "Are you really still trying to fight, hero Ren?"

Ren didn’t answer. His hands clenched into fists, digging into the earth. Slowly, painfully, he forced himself back up. Above Ren’s head, a glowing digital status bar flickered—his HP and Mana had dropped to 70% from 100%. Both of them saw it.

Suddenly, the ethereal hum returned. The magical cards began to orbit Ren once again.

Srinivasulu threw his hands up in sheer exasperation. "Oh, come on, Ren! I haven't even been in this world for two hours! Usually, when someone gets sent to their favorite game world, they want to explore the game world, meet his favourite characters, see the sights! But you? The very second I arrive, you jump me, and all we’ve been doing is fighting! How much longer are we going to keep doing this?!"

Ignoring him entirely, Ren snatched one of the floating cards.

"Red Thunder Knight!" Ren roared.

CRACK-BOOM!

A terrifying column of blood-red lightning struck Ren directly from the clear night sky. The sheer electrical discharge vaporized the ground beneath him. Srinivasulu instinctively shielded his face with his arms against the blinding red flash.

When he finally lowered his arms, the words completely died in his throat.

The game protagonist was gone. In his place stood an imposing, terrifying figure clad head-to-toe in heavily plated, spiked crimson armor that looked like a medieval elite knight. Red electricity violently arced across his metal chassis. Gripped tightly in his gauntleted hands was a massive, ominous, energy-laced scythe.

The system prompt flickered above him:

[Status: Red Thunder Knight Form - Level 47]

Srinivasulu’s jaw dropped. "O god. In the original game lore, this specific form used a greatsword! I’m the idiot who changed it to a scythe because I thought it looked cooler! How would I have known?! That I’d end up in the game, having to fight my own death-mod!"

Before the thought could even finish processing, the Red Thunder Knight vanished.

A streak of crimson lightning tore through the air. Ren was moving at a terrifying, supernatural velocity, leaving a trail of red electricity in his wake.

SWISH!

The massive scythe cleaved through the air, aiming directly for Srinivasulu’s neck. Srinivasulu bent violently backward, the terrifying edge of the crimson blade missing his nose by mere inches. The displaced wind from the swing alone cut his cheek.

Relying on his divine speed, Srinivasulu teleported, reappearing several meters to his right. But Ren was already there.

Ren spun the massive weapon with blinding speed, bringing it crashing down. Srinivasulu teleported again, reappearing on the opposite flank.

But Ren’s speed in this form was catastrophic. He was moving faster than Srinivasulu’s evasion. A red flash intercepted Srinivasulu the moment he materialized, the scythe swinging wildly.

Srinivasulu ducked, rolled, and sprinted away, gasping for breath. "Fine! If you want to fight so badly, then let’s fight!"

Srinivasulu stopped and stood his ground. In an instant, his five divine cards materialized in the air before him.

Seeing the cards, Ren abruptly halted his assault, standing back, his red armor sparking with electricity as he watched cautiously.

Srinivasulu reached out, his fingers hovering over the card depicting the majestic emperor on horseback. He pressed it.

"Om Andhra Vallabha!"

KAAA-BOOOOM!

A column of blinding, divine golden lightning struck Srinivasulu from the heavens. The sheer concussive force of the divine strike pushed Ren back a few steps.

As the golden light and smoke cleared, Ren stood frozen in pure shock.

Standing before him was a sovereign of unmatched majesty. Srinivasulu’s skin had turned a deep, divine dark hue. He was clad in the ancient, royal silk garments of the legendary Telugu emperors. Heavy, intricate gold ornaments adorned his chest and arms. Resting upon his shoulders were the divine insignias of the Shankha (Conch) and Chakra (Discus). Atop his head rested a towering, golden crown of absolute sovereignty.

At that very moment, a radiant golden Tilakam of Lord Vishnu slowly manifested upon Srinivasulu's forehead, blazing with divine brilliance. Behind him, for a fleeting moment, the ethereal silhouette of Srikakulam Andhra Maha Vishnu appeared, gazing over the battlefield with immeasurable majesty before gradually fading into golden light.

Srinivasulu had fully assumed the divine form of Andhra Vallabha.

"What kind of new form is that?!" Ren growled, his voice distorted through the metallic helmet.

In a flash of red lightning, Ren launched himself forward, closing the distance in a millisecond.

But Srinivasulu was ready. In his right hand rested a divine, golden longsword, and in his left, an impenetrable golden shield.

CLANG!

Srinivasulu raised the shield, perfectly absorbing the devastating impact of the scythe. The collision sent shockwaves rippling through the forest. Before Srinivasulu could counter-attack, Ren pushed off the shield and backflipped away with terrifying agility.

"Red Lightning Speed Attack!" Ren bellowed.

Ren became a blur of crimson electricity, zipping around Srinivasulu in a chaotic, high-speed orbit, striking from every possible angle.

Srinivasulu matched his speed.

The dark, burning forest became a chaotic theater of light. A streak of red lightning and a streak of golden lightning violently clashed over and over again. The rapid collisions of the crimson scythe and the divine golden sword showered the battlefield in a blinding storm of sparks.

Clang! Clang! Clang-Clang-Clang!

They were completely evenly matched in speed and power.

How?! Ren’s mind raced behind his helmet. How is he keeping up with my speed? If this keeps up, I’ll never beat him!

Desperate, Ren abruptly launched himself straight up into the night sky. Wrapping himself in a dense, swirling cyclone of red electricity, he hovered high above the battlefield, preparing to dive-bomb with catastrophic force.

Looking up, Srinivasulu instantly recognized the attack pattern. He crouched down, gathering the divine energy into his legs, and launched himself into the sky with the speed of a golden thunderbolt.

As he ascended, a blinding light flashed beneath him. A majestic, divine white stallion materialized out of thin air. Srinivasulu landed perfectly on the saddle, the horse galloping on the very air itself as it charged toward the Red Knight.

High above the earth, the red storm and the golden comet hurtled toward each other. In the darkness of the night, it looked as if a red thread and a golden thread were weaving a violent dance in the cosmos.

Ren gripped his scythe, channeling every last drop of his aura.

Srinivasulu raised his golden sword, the white horse neighing furiously.

The two forces collided in the center of the sky.

KA-BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

It was as if two distinct thunderbolts had struck each other in the atmosphere. A massive, spherical explosion of red and gold energy detonated across the heavens.

The shockwave blasted Ren completely backward. His red armor cracked violently. "What... what just happened? How does he have this much raw power?!" Ren gasped in mid-air.

On the other side of the explosion, the smoke cleared. Srinivasulu sat calmly atop his white stallion, completely unharmed. The divine horse simply shook its head, snorting and dusting off its mane as if the explosion had been nothing more than a light breeze.

Refusing to yield, Ren used his momentum to flip in the air and dive toward Srinivasulu once again, his scythe raised for a final strike.

But as he closed the distance, the golden sword in Srinivasulu’s hand dissolved into light, instantly reforming into a massive, golden divine Gada (Mace).

Moving faster than Ren’s eyes could track, Srinivasulu swung the heavy mace.

CRUNCH!

The divine mace slammed directly into the side of the Red Knight’s helmet. Another massive explosion rocked the sky, and Ren was sent plummeting back to the earth like a fallen star.

Crash!

Ren slammed into the forest floor, creating a deep crater.

Slowly, the divine white horse descended from the sky, its hooves touching the earth gently right at the edge of the crater. Srinivasulu looked down at Ren, who was groaning, his armor severely damaged, desperately trying to push himself up on his hands and knees.

Sitting tall atop his steed, Srinivasulu’s voice shifted. He no longer spoke like a modern college boy. He spoke with the ancient, profound authority of the Supreme Lord of Andhra, using the Puranica Praudha Grandhika Telugu.

"O Ren! What purpose does this futile endeavor serve? Hadst thou accepted defeat, thou wouldst have been spared these grievous blows and intense agony. Defeating the fierce and matchless prowess of this form of Andhra Vallabha (Lord of Andhra) is beyond thy capacity. Even now, all is not lost. Restrain thyself and accept defeat; thus shall thy torment come to an end!"

Ren gritted his teeth, blood dripping behind his cracked visor. He gripped his scythe, letting out a guttural roar, and launched himself upward directly at Srinivasulu.

Srinivasulu sighed heavily. The divine Gada vanished from his hands. The majestic white stallion beneath him dissolved into light.

Srinivasulu dropped from the air. He clenched his right hand into a fist, concentrating the sheer, unadulterated divine force into his knuckles.

As Ren came flying upward, Srinivasulu delivered one single, devastating punch square into the center of the Red Knight's helmet.

BAM!

Ren’s upward momentum was instantly, violently halted. The protagonist hung in the air for a second, completely dazed, his consciousness slipping.

Before Ren could even fall back down, Srinivasulu shot his hand forward, grabbing the Red Knight by the throat. Hanging effortlessly in the air, holding the fully armored protagonist by the neck, Srinivasulu’s voice echoed with divine wrath.

"Even after such solemn counsel, you remain deaf to my words in your madness, O Ren! What else is this if not the height of your ignorance? I embody the invoked supreme form of Andhra Vallabha—the supreme deity who vanquished the arrogant demon Nishumbha, and who consecrated the three sacred Lingas: Sri Mallikarjuna at the holy peak of Srisailam, Sri Bhimeswara at the sacred Gautami banks of Draksharamam, and Sri Kaleswara-Mukteswara at the divine confluence of Kaleshwaram, thus establishing the holy realm as Trilinga Desa! To harbor the hope of defeating me while I manifest in this invincible, Lord-like form is nothing but your pure delusion!"

With an effortless flick of his wrist, Srinivasulu threw the armored protagonist across the battlefield. Ren crashed through the smoldering trees, rolling across the dirt.

Yet, impossibly, Ren’s hand twitched. He planted his scythe into the ground, using it to drag his battered body up.

"Even if the Supreme god stands before me today," Ren gasped, blood spilling from his lips, "I... will not... accept defeat."

Srinivasulu closed his eyes for a brief second. "Fool."

He raised his right index finger, pointing it directly at the heavens.

Instantly, the night sky split open. A deafening, cosmic neighing echoed from the clouds. Thousands of glowing, divine white stallions—an ethereal cavalry of the gods—descended from the sky. They merged into a singular, devastating stampede of pure, kinetic holy energy, charging down like a localized meteor strike.

The divine cavalry struck Ren head-on.

KA-BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

The final explosion shattered the very bedrock of the forest. The Red Thunder Knight armor violently shattered into a million pieces of fading red light. Ren’s weapon dissolved. He collapsed entirely, reverting back to his normal, human clothes, in the center of the massive crater.

The golden light surrounding Srinivasulu slowly faded. The royal garments, the crown, the divine aura—all of it dissolved, leaving behind the exhausted, normal form of the boy from Earth.

Srinivasulu let out a long, heavy exhale, dusting off his hands. He walked over to the fallen hero and looked down.

"Alright," Srinivasulu muttered, his voice returning to its normal, casual tone. "Now... can you put your 'Hero's Ego' aside so we can finally have a normal conversation?"
