Chapter 100:

To Know You: Forever Was Never Long Enough

I Died As a JPop Idol and Now I'm a Revolutionary Songstress

Water called to them.

They had quietly undressed the other and cautiously made their way to the bathing pool at the center of their room. She’d helped him get onto his knees, then watched as he moved his bent legs with a casual familiarity. Sensations of the pressure from his large, gentle hand lingered in her palm several seconds after he’d let go.

One more deep breath from him pulled a current of glowing aid from the ports in his back and into his lungs. After he’d inhaled the chemical reaction for a last bit of pain dampening, he undid his mask to reveal his face to her.

She’d always loved the way the most vibrant parts of his irises splayed out across the deeper blues that would have been white for her. Instead of perfectly round orbs of colors, each iris snaked and lined its way across their hosts, sending tiny cyan light across his gaze. Now, those cyan bursts looked up to her with a slight hint of nervous awkwardness as his brow raised ever so slightly.

Flutters of joyous desire rose from her ribs and moved through her breasts, sending alertness into the edges of her longing curves. Hardening, rising skin caused the fabric to lift at the lower center of her top as it slid from her shoulders.

Diffused emerald and opal light landed on their bodies like mist as darkness welcomed them home.

They had been undressed together dozens of times now. He’d already been inside of her. She’d felt his heavy, warm pants on her neck while thrusts from his hips had moved hers while hundreds watched or mimicked them. He’d felt her tighten and soften as she’d kissed his arm and lifted his hand to her chest.

Deflowered had brought them together. But now she wanted him to consume her.

He wanted her to take every piece of him for whatever she wanted.

They wanted to be vulnerable and safe.

Life had not been that way for them, but they were.

His hands.

Her smile.

Their voices.

The brace on her knee.

The relief he felt when she sang.

The joy they both felt when they saw the other.

It might have been easier for them to count the grains of sand on a beach than it would have been for them to describe every wondrous and beautiful thing about the other.

Sayane shivered as the air brought even more firmness to her nipples. Bumps rose on her skin and the hair on her arms stood at its ends. He held her gaze as the belt came undone. It was a small mercy that she greatly appreciated.

Months of adjusting to different ways of living had allowed hair to thicken in places she once shaved consistently. Part of her wanted to shave, but part of her was grateful for the freedom to simply exist, even if it meant once-unwelcome brown strands had gathered into a small grouping under her arm, and tiny lashlike marks now ran from her belly button to the most sacred parts of her.

He didn’t mind, and that was enough.

Wet fabric fell to the ground with a soft slap, and she was exposed.

For whatever unknown reason, her left hand absentmindedly moved to cover her privates, and she felt her face warming. There was a nakedness in that moment that had nothing to do with skin. Even though she knew the answer, it was as though her body and soul were now fully baring themselves for him to see, waiting for his acceptance or rejection. The answer had long been revealed, but Sayane couldn’t help but feel the weight of his love, and it almost overwhelmed her.

“I’m… nervous…” Sayane sheepishly muttered.

Azag smiled and once again gave her heart the answer that yes, it was safe with him.

“I… I am as well,” he admitted as his head tilted to the side.

“You wore the brace? Even today?” he asked as he reached over to her leg, which was still held in his supportive device.

“Always. Every day,” she replied as she watched him remove the metal and harnesses with ease.

That brace meant more to her than almost anything in their world. For Sayane, it had represented a turning point. Years of being scolded by frustrated record executives and agents had left her embarrassed about the wound. So many angry people had told her to ‘just get over’ the injury, which had subconsciously come to represent something much larger for Sayane. A torn meniscus had become a reminder of every daily failure she faced in those latter days as an idol. But for Azag, it was simply an injury to a kind person, and he had offered her healing without expecting anything in return.

Drops fell from his arm as it rose to help her into the water.

It met her skin and welcomed her into relaxation. Lips parted and she sighed as steam drifted in sheets around them.

“You did so well today.” he said as he shifted closer to her.

Sayane nodded and let her head rest on his shoulder.

Being beside him felt like being at the end of a journey. When she looked at him, she didn’t see a disfigured, crippled Rabal not to be trusted. All she felt was some manner of language she’d never before heard moving from his heart to hers as it told her, ‘welcome home’.

Soft fabric from the washcloth sent streaks of pink and purple down her stomach. His lips found her cheek. Sayane’s eyes stayed closed. Cloth moved across her most intimate realms with a silken touch, and her lips parted once more.

She was so soft to him. All he’d known was rigidity and cold, but she was supple and warm.

The cloth made its way down her stomach and back, and both of them felt their pulses quicken.

Sayane’s hand raised to his jaw, and she slowly opened her legs.

Azag understood, and set the cloth on the edge of the bath before returning his hand to its previous destination. A slight tensing of nerves in her stomach sent tiny ripples across the water.

Firm fingertip pads met the folds of pink, and Sayane sighed as she reclined ever so slightly.

Their dedication crystals all shifted to radiant lilac in unison.

It began slowly. Little pressure was applied, but the effect was strong. Melodies and words from unheard languages drifted up her groin and stomach, across her breasts, and into her throat, telling her he was hers and she was his. His fingers moved in steady, even circles and Sayane let out another moan. When he moved closer, the light from her new facial adornments met his exposed fangs. Once again, he was the most beautiful thing she’d ever beheld.

He shifted slightly as he turned to face her more easily, and Sayane felt a firmness against her leg, telling her that he was becoming aroused as well. Desire overpowered nervousness and her hand left his mandibles to descend below the water, where he was waiting.

It was firm and wide. Slightly larger than her hand could hold but not unmanageable. Grooved ridges tapered from the base upwards, made of softening folds that were smooth to the touch.

Azag moaned her name.

Then his finger slid inside of her, and she cried out in bliss.

Sayane focused his finger moving back and forth inside her ever so gently as it bent upwards, mapping the complexities of the world within. Her own hand held onto the girth it had found, and slowly began to move up and down.

Echoes from their slow dance melody played in her mind.

Water lapped at her ribs.

She wanted to look at him, but she also wanted to close her eyes.

Ridges grazed along her palm as the top tapered to a smoothed head, where her fingers lingered in brief exploration.

It was softer than the rest of him. Spongy, yet firm. Her finger ran along its contours, and his fanged mouth opened once more.

“I like that,” he whispered.

Another pulse of light surged through his veins, and Sayane let out another moan as the warmth seeped through all of her body. Unraveling came easy when she was with him. In the best of ways, she could collapse and know that she would be okay. She could surrender to joy and release and have faith that he would be there. Safety was a state of being as much as it was a place, and both were Azag.

To him, she was perfect. She was kind. Brave. Beautiful. Funny. Talented. Compassionate. Complex. Nervous. Afraid. Strong. Defiant. Nurturing. Sayane was so many things to him, and he wanted her to feel what she made him feel. More than that, he wanted to make her feel better than she ever had. So he continued to pour every bit of exquisite rapture he could into his fingers as they slid in and out of the soft wet opening between her legs.

The feeling erupted across every follicle and ligament, causing Sayane’s back to arch as the water glowed pink. Every muscle locked then released, and she slumped into his massive hand as it cradled the entirety of her hips.

Perfect release replayed on a loop in Sayane’s body and mind as a new concoction of chemicals flooded her thoughts.

His hand slowly pulled out from her.

Breaths came swiftly.

Their eyes met and she was crying.

His hands carefully took both sides of her face and kissed away the tears.

“Gods, I’m crying before we have sex. I’m sorry,” she sniffed in embarrassment.

“No. No, it’s okay. I don’t mind. Crying is a part of you,” he said.

“A big part. I cry so much,” Sayane laughed before devolving into a sob.

They held on to one another as the glowing water shifted around them.

She did and didn’t want to cry. Tears weren’t just for sorrow. Not for her. Not for them. Sometimes all of life bubbled up into a storm in her chest that threatened to rip her to pieces if she didn’t release it through a small cascade of tears. It had been that way in her first life, but dying had only amplified it more. As she knelt against him, feeling all of his complexity and calm flowing through her body, she wanted him to understand that those teardrops were her most sincere offering of loving gratitude for everything he was to her.

“I love you,” she whispered as she softly kissed the stone in his chest.

“I love you,” he echoed as his lips met the crown of her head.

Her grip never released from him.

Softly shaking exhales from them both told the other that they were ready.

“How… how do you want me?” Sayane asked.

She couldn’t see it, but now color was flooding his face.

“I’d like to face you, to see you.”

Sayane looked from the bath to the bed. The water was warm and pleasant, and the stone edges were supportive. But the bed was massive and theirs. Both had benefits. But she didn’t want him to get embarrassed as he awkwardly limped to the mattress.

“Do you want to go to the bed? Or stay here?” she asked, all the while keeping her hand gently moving up and down.

Azag looked at the bed and debated. Her chest pressed against his knee and he savored the softness once more.

“We can try the bed. I could sit towards the edge, if you would like to ride me.”

Sayane blushed at his words. He lifted himself up by the ledge and she held onto him even as his waist broke the water. When his hips settled on the stone, she could fully appreciate the erection as it tensed in her hand.

His chest was broad and his hipbones were lean beneath the thin subskin. Shadows bent in across his stomach’s ridged divisions. She could see the patchwork scarring across his torso, telling horrific stories of the experiments done to him. Her other hand ran along his stomach while she continued to stroke. Raises of scars bumped along beneath her touch. She wanted to savor him and let him savor that moment of being exposed as well.

“I love your body,” she said as her hand moved along his leg.

“It’s yours to traverse, always,” he replied.

Sayane leaned forward and opened her mouth.

Ridges slid along her tongue and the edges of her teeth as she relaxed her jaw. Azag let out a whimpering moan of deep surrender as Sayane pushed forward as far as she could.

The girth expanded the further down she went, and eventually, she had to stop, barely halfway along. Accepting that was her limit, she lifted her head then lowered it again, feeling him throb in her throat as she did.

Sayane dared to open her eyes and watch as Azag leaned his head back in surprised enjoyment. Every vein pulsed and sent blue ambience towards Sayane’s mouth, and she felt the crystals in her cheeks hum.

He moaned. Deep, vulnerable, swift. She found herself enjoying the sound, as though she and he were discovering a new language that only they could hear.  A tense in his chest caused him to expand in her mouth.

The ridges bulged softly, pushing her tongue down as she balanced herself by placing her palms onto his thighs. His moans were husky, heavy, and dense. Fingers ran through her hair then lifted her head to his. A small strand of saliva hung from her lips as he bashfully kissed her.

“Was that good?” Sayane asked.

In truth, she’d never done that, and wasn’t sure how well she had performed.

“Thank you. That was amazing,” he sighed.

It took some time, but they eventually found themselves on the bed, with Azag’s hips at the edge, facing away from the mattress. Sayane carefully mounted him and found a position most comfortable, with her legs straddling him and her face against his chest. Nervous hands guided him and she sank into his lap, letting all of him into her as they both pined the other’s name with a whisper.

When he was fully enveloped in her and their hips were pressed against the other, his tongue found her breasts.

Small Hume hands clasped to the deformed spines of his massive Rabal back.

He smelled like moss and stone.

She tasted like the sea.

Her moans were the same tone and pitch as her singing voice.

His tongue flicked across her nipple as she pulled her hips up and back, then lowered. Soft tightness clung to him as she moved, and his hands moved to her buttocks to hold her. Muscle and flesh shifted in his grip as her smooth movements continued. To be inside of her was to be engulfed in every aspect of her being. To feel him pushing deep and wide, yet never too far, was to feel him becoming a part of her.

Whispered words were shared like confessions and prayers.

“You feel amazing.”

“It feels so good inside of you.”

“Can you tell me what you like?”

“It’s soft. And warm. And tensing against me. I like it when you’re going up. Can you tell me?”

“I… I like how you hit a spot inside of me that makes me feel really good. I like how hard you are, but it’s not rough. I like how, hmph, how deep you are.”

“I’m yours forever.”

“Always and forever.”

Lips pressed together between breaths. Bodies pulled closer towards the other. Motions quickened. Sacred canals became even more wet. White residue clung to the base of his shaft as she sank against him and pressed her fingers on his chest. Nearly all of him was within her, pressing contoured pleasure into the dripping grooves of her body as she shifted her pelvis back and forth. Another spot of ridges, located where pubic hair would have been, caressed the most sensitive part of her womanhood as she gyrated against him, and Sayane’s lips parted once more.

“I’m cumming. I’m cumming,” she sighed as she bit into his shoulder.

“Cum for me. I want you to cum, Sayane,” Azag growled in approval as he softly pulled at the roots of her hair.

The word was foreign to him, but he knew what she was implying. He wanted nothing more than for her to surrender to the all-encompassing release. He hoped repeating the words didn’t pull her from the climax.

Skin clapped against skin.

Sweat mixed and flowed.

Eruptions built and unshackled themselves through spasms of ecstasy.

She wanted to laugh. She wanted to cry. All of her called out for him. Desperate, overwhelmed arms wrapped around his neck as she whispered ‘thank you’ again and again. Damp kisses anointed crystal-adorned faces. Touch became core memory.

Sayane moved from his lap and got onto her hands and knees, leaving her hips elevated and facing him. She glanced over his shoulder and beckoned him to her. Cautious movements pushed firm bedding as he made his way over her. Massive forearms planted themselves beside her shoulders, and her lips found his wrist just as she felt him slide into her once more.

Time became a forgotten story written in a dead language and they stayed entwined in one another for ages. When they were both fully spent and drenched in exhaustion, they collapsed into bed and fell to slumber within moments. Even then, she stayed supported in his arms as he breathed in deep to savor the scent of her perspiration dampened hair.

Ether light faded and darkness blanketed the dwelling in sleep’s quiescent darkness. Softly quivering pulses of tiny crystal light shined out from the abyss as Sayane and Azag’s dedication stones ebbed from teal to azure.

Forever would never have been long enough.
