Chapter 1 My last office working day and the mysterious eye

I was a 30 year old , worker in Atlantix.CO a MNC game company well known for the game "Secret of God's relic " a popular Otome game well known for its immersive story and narration with strong boss where female Heroine starts her journey with her friends to find the relic and defeat the evil boss who wanted to become God. 

I wrote the second half of the story after Heroine Ellen Vanhert sets of a peaceful journey. Where I designed a mob character named Welt Ruzzo who is famous extrovert talented who is exact opposite of me. He leaved a peaceful life he has his father and mother fame, but his parent went missing after he reached 10. His grandfather had ring of time which has ability to manipulate time, but he gives Welt the ring after he become master craftsman.

Welt ability is unknown and powerful so his grandpa gave the ring as present so he will use the rings power and forget how to use his own power. Thus, saving his grandson from his dangerous ability. I wrote the game script well, so that I can make him as a support character to help heroine find one of the relics.

I didn't know that I would be fired at my office due to my project deadline to submit script for act 5 to find ring of life.

I was the team leader for my department; I had a junior who was 4 years younger than me. She helped me with stuff like drawing the character sketch and was a great help to me. Even I helped her to complete documentation and scripting of dialogue.

During my college days I used to observe others conversation from that I used to create my own story. Due to this advantage of introvert, I helped her in scripting heroine dialogue how heroine communicate with main character, the setting.

She wore specs and her face was covered with her clumsy bed hairs she lived nearby the company quarters. She is cute and clumsy like my litter sister who was software engineer in a big company. 

She helps me in Welt's character design, and I help her in Ellen dialogue conversation. Her way of presentation skills improved so I gave her the green light to present for tomorrows script.

I was happy that after this presentation she can be promoted for graphics department. Unlike me she had good talent in drawing and character design.

She designed my mob character Welt for me. In the game he is the one who creates best gear for Ellen that has S rank quality and his life is so peaceful unlike me. He is popular with girls to unlike me.

I and our teammates rehearsed for the presentation well. I gave her the new character description in the story, and she updated the artwork well. Everyone in the team appreciated her work.

Then today was the day for presentation to choose who can right the best story act. I won the best story writer award for past 3 years. Then I read the daily newspaper   headlines it showed secret of God relic story leaked. I am not shocked to see this news, but it was written that daughter of Senkel games ltd worked under Atlantics during her internship and she will take over the place of her father and the face of the lady resembles to my Kohei.

Then I came to know she leaked the game character skin design which caused our company game patch release story to leak which caused one third of players stop purchasing in game currency for the story mission.

My manager called me and I started to think what happened to my corporate life will it come to an end.

The next day I met my chief manager, then he said he would fire me and my team for leaking the skin of Ellen. He even talked about how did rival company member infiltrated our company.

I was made accountable for all the problem happened in the company. I sadly saw my teammates, glaring at me, I knew about their financial problems. I had saw the fear of losing job, when I was in their shoes. Then I, realized that I have an alternate income become from gaming live stream and I used to take aptitude tuition for grade 8 -10 students. I got 1000 yen per her for teaching which was enough for daily leaving and my sister has job she also supports our family.

Tears started to roll from my eyes;

 I gave my resignation letter to the Chief and he accepted it. And I handed over my story script for the rest of the game, and I got permission to do work from home to complete the remaining work with the notice period of 15 days.

When I was about to leave, the Kohei whom we trusted came towards me and apologized to me with these words.

She uttered to me, "Senpai, I didn't leak the design of the character. It was my brother who sent the design to my father for getting his attention. He always does this kind of things to irritate me."

And I looked at her face and asked her "Why did you hide your real identity? I told you already don't keep any secrets as we are colleague".

Then she didn't reply to me, she bowed her head without looking at my eyes.

Then I left my office and reached my room. My parents and sister went to my grandfather's ancestral home at Hokkaido.

I bought some energy drinks and started playing the "Secrets of relic". Today was the day, they released new knight armor skin for Ellen. Then I waited for the maintenance patch update for 6 hours. After I opened the game anticipating what will my company do to mitigate the loss of revenue.

They released summer themed skin for Ellen which went fan popular. The design was very eye-catching it had a white dove like design bikini top and bottom which attracts the players.

Then I thought for a moment why did I resign this company for small reason and why did the chief didn't say any words not to leave. 

Then I realized that I was betrayed by my company from the beginning for getting their hands on my scripts. I got frustrated and I used 3000 yen for pulled her skin. I started to play the game for two days continuously to finish the labyrinth quest.

I felt sleepy after playing for 12 hours continuously, then I went to living room to have my favorite katsu curry and rice then my surrounding turned black suddenly. I don't know what's going on but two large rainbow-colored eyes started staring me.

And my mind went blank and when I woke up, I become a baby. And I saw beautiful couples picking me with smile and started playing with me. 

I thought to myself where am I ?
