Chapter 86:

The Battlefield in Smoke

My Hero Academia: Gura Gura no Mi

The U.A. training ground shook.

Yuto swung Three Sword Style Secret Art: Three Thousand Worlds.

He charged toward Present Mic with the pressure of a fighter who refused to stop.

Whoosh.

The sound of tearing wind rang out.

A fierce white flash rushed forward. In front of the endless bombardment of sound blasts, sword light flickered again and again.

His blades moved at terrifying speed, striking out one after another.

The yellow sound bombs shattered into specks of golden dust and vanished in midair.

Boom!

The explosions continued.

The entire forest battlefield trembled, and a huge cloud of dust swallowed the field.

Yuto's momentum did not slow.

His advance looked unstoppable.

Facing that fierce charge, Present Mic's smile gradually disappeared. The laughter he had kept up throughout the match finally broke, replaced by shock.

His eyes widened as he watched Yuto destroy one sound blast after another, as if each shattered attack were breaking through his confidence.

Cold sweat beaded on his forehead.

"Impossible!" Present Mic shouted.

With one final crash, a deafening explosion shook the training ground and struck the hearts of everyone watching.

A mushroom cloud dozens of meters high rose from the battlefield. A violent shock wave rolled outward from Yuto's position, overturning trees and sending chairs in the spectator area sliding across the floor.

Several spectators were knocked down by the blast.

The field was a wreck.

No one knew the result.

Red smoke from the explosion covered the forest battlefield. From the outside, no one could see what had happened inside.

Yuto Kanzaki versus the Voice Hero Present Mic.

Who had won?

After the clash, the audience looked battered and stunned. Many people were covered in dust after being thrown down by the shock wave.

In the commentary room, Aizawa was sitting awkwardly on the floor. He coughed once and forced himself back into the role of commentator.

"Yuto used Three Thousand Worlds twice during the U.A. Sports Festival," Aizawa said. "This time, facing Present Mic's full bombardment, he used it again and met every sound blast head-on."

"He shattered Present Mic's attacks one after another."

"As for the result of this match... we can only wait and see."

U.A. High School fell silent.

The entire crowd stared at the forest battlefield. The powerful shock wave had left them too stunned to speak.

"Oh my God. Did a fifteen-year-old high school student beat a Pro Hero?"

"Did Yuto win or lose?"

"A first-year student against the legendary Voice Hero, and the fight got this intense? I still can't believe it."

"If I hadn't seen it myself, I wouldn't believe it either."

"But the facts are right there. Yuto shattered every one of Present Mic's sound blasts."

"Unbelievable. His swordsmanship is even stronger than it was during the Sports Festival."

"Another reversal? My heart can't take this. What happened in there?"

Everyone's eyes were fixed on the smoke-covered battlefield, waiting for the final answer.

Yuto versus Present Mic.

Who had won?

Class 1-A was just as shocked.

Midoriya waved both hands, voice hoarse with excitement. "Yuto-kun! Did he turn it around?"

Kirishima clenched his fists. "That was such a manly fight! Just watching it got me fired up!"

Mineta cried loudly. "Yuto is too cool! I want to be that cool too!"

Tsuyu looked at the battlefield. "The result still isn't clear. The entire field is still buried in smoke. Present Mic-sensei may still have won, even after how incredible Yuto-chan looked at the end."

Yaoyorozu nodded. "No matter what happens, Yuto gave everything he had."

Ochaco's cheeks were red as she said softly, "Yuu-kun is only fifteen, but he fought Present Mic-sensei this far. Present Mic-sensei is a powerful Pro Hero. Doesn't that mean Yuu-kun has already reached a Pro Hero level?"

Tsuyu said, "Yuto-chan's strength has been at that level for a while. And with his mindset, I don't think becoming a Pro Hero is his only goal. He's aiming higher."

Todoroki nodded slightly. "His goal is All Might. That means the next match."

Class 1-A nodded along without hesitation.

Their gazes returned to the forest battlefield.

Inside the red smoke, faint streaks of sword light still flashed.

Had he won?
