Suyou swung both of his katanas downward.
His gaze was sharp as he stared at Yūto.
"You and I are victims of this dirty world. If we join forces, I believe we can conquer this world, "The White Ronin"."
"If you think this world is dirty, then don't make it even dirtier!"
Suyou smiled.
"You really are a unique person. Do you think your innocence can change the world? You make me laugh! Everyone who lives in this world must compete to become the strongest! Why?! Because strength is the ultimate weapon for enforcing justice! If you're weak, you don't deserve justice!"
Suyou charged at Yūto with incredible speed, dragging both of his swords across the floor and leaving deep slash marks behind.
Swing!
Swish!
Yūto dodged the attack.
He leaped to the side.
Suyou continued chasing him and attacked him relentlessly.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
Yūto blocked Suyou's attacks with all his strength until both of his arms began to tremble.
Clang!
Swoosh!
Yūto was sent flying and slammed into the wall.
Crash!
Dust filled the air and covered Yūto's body.
Suyou stopped attacking for a moment.
"Your way of thinking about truth is too weak! Strength must fight against strength to prove which one of us is worthy of upholding justice!"
Suyou moved toward where Yūto had fallen and slashed at him several times.
Swish! Swish! Swish!
The sound of Suyou's swords striking the wall echoed throughout the room.
When the dust finally cleared, Yūto was no longer there.
"?!"
Suyou looked around.
Then, he looked up.
"To uphold justice and truth, you don't need strength! All you need is sincerity and honesty! Because that's where true strength lies!" Yūto said.
Yūto attacked Suyou from above with a powerful vertical slash while spinning through the air.
Clang!
Clash!
Suyou blocked the attack with both of his swords.
Both of his feet slammed into the floor from the tremendous force of Yūto's strike.
Yūto twisted his body and quickly rolled behind Suyou.
Suyou's eyes followed Yūto's movement.
In an instant, Yūto kicked the side of Suyou's head and struck him directly.
Suyou was sent flying and crashed into the wall.
Crash!
Yūto jumped backward, creating some distance between himself and Suyou.
"You think you're the only one who can talk about justice?! You think weak people don't deserve the same justice?! You're wrong!"
Suyou charged toward Yūto.
Swung!
Suyou quickly struck Yūto with a powerful straight slash.
Although Yūto managed to block it, his body was still sent flying.
Boom!
He rolled several times across the floor before finally coming to a stop.
Suyou attacked again at high speed.
Suyou's eyes now looked completely different.
They had turned red.
He shot forward with incredible speed.
Yūto blocked Suyou's attack while lying on the floor.
Clang!
However, Suyou's strength was overwhelming.
Yūto's body was sent flying, and his sword was knocked far away from him.
Yūto rolled across the floor again before finally crashing into the wall.
"Ugh... Cough..."
Yūto struggled to stand.
"You disgust me! Only the strong have the right to decide what justice and truth are!" Suyou shouted.
Suyou charged toward Yūto.
Yūto couldn't move.
Slash! Slash! Slash!
The wall was covered with sword marks and splattered with Yūto's blood.
Although Yūto managed to dodge the attacks, his arms and legs were still cut by Suyou's swords.
Blood began flowing from his hands and legs.
His injured knee collapsed onto the floor, while one of his hands supported his body to keep him from falling.
"Ugh... Cough... Arrghh..."
Yūto had run out of strength, and his body was becoming heavier with every passing moment.
'Am I going to die here?' Yūto thought.
Suyou stopped and lowered both of his swords.
"Looks like your journey ends here, "The White Ronin"..."
Suyou spun both of his swords in his hands and took a fighting stance.
Yūto's breathing grew heavier.
"Hah... Hah... Hah..."
Swoosh!
Suyou shot straight toward Yūto at incredible speed.
Yūto closed his eyes.
Swoosh!
Whoosh!
Grab!
Ryu suddenly appeared and grabbed Yūto, pulling him away from Suyou's attack.
Suyou's attack continued forward and struck the wall.
Crack!
Dust covered the area around Suyou.
"Are you okay, Yūto?" Ryu asked.
"Ryu... Ugh... Cough... I'm fine."
Ryu looked at the wounds covering Yūto's body.
"I already saved your friend, Aoi."
Yūto looked at Ryu.
"Really? Thank goodness..."
Yūto felt relieved after hearing that.
Some time earlier...
"Ryu, are you planning to keep sleeping there?" Sakamoto asked.
Ryu was lying on the floor after the ropes binding his hands and feet had been removed.
He turned toward Sakamoto.
Sakamoto smiled.
"If you still want to rest there, I'll leave you alone. I have something to take care of. The sword you asked for is next to your other sword."
Sakamoto pointed toward the corner of the room.
Ryu slowly stood up and picked up both of his swords from the corner.
Sakamoto immediately left.
"Kaito! I'm going to teach you a lesson!" Ryu muttered.
Ryu left the room and walked down the building's hallway.
He heard a commotion coming from outside the dojo.
Then, from a distance, he saw Kaito dragging a woman.
Ryu secretly approached Kaito.
"Be quiet! You're so heavy! Stay here for now!" Kaito said as he placed Aoi on a chair inside a room.
Ryu watched him from outside the room.
When Kaito stepped outside, Ryu immediately approached him.
"So, you're not just a big talker. You're also a cowardly bastard with no honor, Kaito!" Ryu said coldly.
"How did you escape?!"
"You'll pay for everything you've done!"
Ryu immediately took a fighting stance against Kaito.
"Wait! That's not fair! I don't have my katana!" Kaito said.
"Kaito... I'm really sick of looking at you!"
Slash!
Slash!
Slash!
Ryu slashed Kaito several times, sending him flying and knocking him unconscious.
Ryu immediately went to rescue Aoi.
After that, he took some rope and tied Kaito up inside the room.
While Ryu was tying him up, Kaito regained consciousness.
Ryu stuffed a piece of cloth into Kaito's mouth.
Ryu turned toward Aoi.
"If you want to see Yūto, follow that path."
Ryu pointed toward the small path that Yūto and the others had taken earlier.
Aoi remained silent with her head lowered.
"I'm leaving first. Follow me if Yūto is important to you," Ryu said.
Then, Ryu immediately left.
At present...
Ryu looked at Yūto's katana.
The blade was already cracked, with several broken pieces missing.
"Your katana... can't be used anymore. If you force it, the blade will definitely break!"
Yūto knew that as well.
"Use this sword instead. But for now, get some rest. I'll deal with him," Ryu said.
Ryu stood up and faced Suyou.
The dust slowly cleared around Suyou's body.
"You're using a dirty trick! You took a helpless woman hostage as bait!" Ryu shouted.
Suyou frowned.
"What are you two talking about?"
"You can ask his father yourself!"
Ryu pointed toward Tadayoshi.
Suyou turned and looked at Tadayoshi.
"Do you know what your son has done, Tadayoshi?"
Tadayoshi answered nervously.
"I-I-I already told him not to do it. But he's a stupid boy! I'll teach him a lesson later."
Suyou smiled.
"Tadayoshi, if a father is unable to properly raise his son, then he must take responsibility."
Suyou spun both of his swords in his hands.
"B-But I wasn't the one who planned it!" Tadayoshi said.
Ryu interrupted.
"You're a liar! Like father, like son! I read all the messages on his phone. You planned it too! You approved of what Kaito did, and he even sent those photos to your phone!"
"Tadayoshi! Show me all the messages from Kaito..."
Nervously, Tadayoshi took out his phone.
"Ah. I entered the wrong password. It's temporarily locked..."
Suyou smiled.
"I don't like dirty tricks like that, Tadayoshi."
"W-Wait, Lord Suyou."
Suyou suddenly charged forward and slashed Tadayoshi several times.
Tadayoshi suffered severe wounds all over his body.
Blood flowed from his mouth and his wounds.
Suyou wiped the blood from his sword using Tadayoshi's clothes.
Suyou looked at Ryu and Yūto.
"Now that the troublemaker is out of the way... Will you attack me first, or should I attack you?"
Suyou smiled.
