Tanimaki Gets Snatched by a Steller’s Sea Eagle (Part 4)

“Look out, Debiru!”

At Mayutan’s shout—

WHOOSH!

With a sharp rush of air, the mother Steller’s sea eagle let out a furious screech and swooped straight down at Debiru!

“AAAH!”

Debiru panicked.

“Take this!”

Mayutan pulled a black box from his three-dimensional pocket and pressed a switch.

A piercing metallic shriek rang through the air.

“SKREEE!”

The eagle was stunned by the shock and lost consciousness, wobbling helplessly as it fell to the ground.

“Th-That was close...”

Debiru sighed in relief and took the earplugs out of his ears.

“Good thing we put these in beforehand,” Mayutan said as he removed his own earplugs.
