Chapter 3:
Reincarnation of a Nameless Girl
This world was far larger than Mumei had initially imagined.
As she continued learning from books, she discovered that both magic and swordsmanship were divided into different levels of power.
The system people knew consisted of ten recognized levels.
For magic:Level 1 — Beginner
Level 2 — ApprenticeLevel 3 — Adept
Level 4 — AdvancedLevel 5 — Master
Level 6 — GrandmasterLevel 7 — Saint
Level 8 — RoyalLevel 9 — Imperial
Level 10 — DivineSwordsmanship followed a similar structure:
Level 1 — Novice SwordsmanLevel 2 — Apprentice Swordsman
Level 3 — Skilled SwordsmanLevel 4 — Advanced Swordsman
Level 5 — Master SwordsmanLevel 6 — Grandmaster Swordsman
Level 7 — Sword SaintLevel 8 — Royal Swordsman
Level 9 — Imperial SwordsmanLevel 10 — Divine Swordsman
At first, Mumei believed that Level 10 was the absolute limit. But the deeper she studied, the more she realized that this was only the limit of what ordinary people understood.
There were higher tiers.
Ranks beyond the Divine Level existed. However, they were so rare and mysterious that most people didn't even know their names.
Only ancient records hinted at their existence.
Mumei had no idea how far those levels reached. And she certainly didn't know where her own strength would eventually stand.
There was another strange thing about Mumei. Her family name had remained the same as in her previous life.
Amane. In her previous life, she had been Hikari Amane.
In this world, she was Mumei Amane. The similarity was nothing more than a coincidence.
At least, that was what Mumei believed. Her parents had given her the name Mumei because of the ancient Nameless God.
No one in the world had ever seen that god.
No one knew what the god looked like.No one knew the god's true name.
Yet ancient records claimed that theNameless God had once existed.
Mumei sometimes wondered why her parents had chosen such a mysterious name for her.She didn't know that the name would eventually become known throughout history.
The Strongest BeingsMumei also learned that the strongest beings in the world were very few in number.
They were not ordinary humans. They were beings whose power had reached a level that ordinary people could barely comprehend.
Among the most famous were the divine beings known by titles such as:Dragon God.
Forest God.Sword God.
God-King of Life and Death. There were also other gods whose names were unknown to the world.
Some had never appeared before humanity.Others existed only in ancient records and legends.
Their true strength remained unknown.Yet there was something that even the oldest records could not explain.
Mumei's mana reserves were far beyond those of anyone else in the world.Even beings who possessed divine titles could not compare with the vast amount of mana sleeping within her.
Mumei herself didn't know this.
She simply believed that she had a large amount of mana. She had no idea that her reserves were something completely unprecedented.
The broken measurement crystal had only been the first sign. Her true limit had not been discovered.
The Beginning of Something GreaterMumei continued her peaceful childhood. She studied.
She read books.She practiced magic.
She learned about swordsmanship. She spent time with her parents.
She slowly became friends with KaedeMizuhara and Ren Akiyama.
To everyone around her, she was simply a talented young girl. But beneath that ordinary appearance was an enormous power that had not yet awakened completely.
Her mana was vast. Her body possessed an innate strength beyond what anyone could understand.
And her potential had no known limit.Mumei didn't know what the future held.
She didn't know about the gods who would eventually cross her path. She didn't know about the powerful beings who would become her enemies, allies, teachers, and companions.
She didn't know that her name would one day be recorded in the history of this world.
For now, she was simply Mumei Amane.
A nameless girl.
A reincarnated soul. And the beginning of a legend that would eventually reach far beyond the limits known to humanity.
