The sun rose over the Kingdom of Xenozia.
At the same time, Morgan finally woke up after spending the entire night fooling around with the two girls in his room.
Meanwhile, King Raiden had begun to have doubts about Morgan's abilities.
Although Morgan was one of the members of Zenshiro, the King wondered if he was really as powerful as the rumors claimed.
Perhaps Morgan was not as strong as everyone said.
Because of that, King Raiden ordered one of his aides to find three of the strongest adventurers in the kingdom.
He told them to prepare for a battle against Morgan.
However, the real purpose was not actually preparation.
The King simply wanted to see Morgan's true strength for himself.
---
That afternoon, all the important members of the Kingdom gathered at the training grounds.
The King and Queen were there, along with their children.
They had all gathered to witness a battle between Morgan, a member of Zenshiro, and the three strongest-class adventurers in the kingdom.
The three adventurers were confident.
They believed the battle would be easy.
Even though their individual strength might be inferior to Morgan's, they had the advantage of numbers.
Once the bell rang, signaling the beginning of the match, all three adventurers immediately spread out.
Then they attacked Morgan simultaneously.
Morgan easily blocked and avoided their attacks.
Sword strikes came from different directions, but Morgan continued dodging them effortlessly.
He had not even used his true abilities yet.
After some time, the continuous attacks began to exhaust the adventurers.
Then, suddenly—
One of them managed to use his ninja technique to sneak behind Morgan.
He successfully stabbed Morgan in the back.
But Morgan immediately turned around.
He grabbed the adventurer's arm.
Then—
Morgan slammed him into the ground.
The adventurer died instantly.
Morgan then drew his artifact sword.
Wind Cutter.
It was one of the Heavenly Swords.
The moment the sword appeared, everyone watching was shocked.
The two remaining adventurers were also stunned.
But they had no choice.
They charged toward Morgan together, attacking him from two different directions.
Morgan turned around.
Then, with a single swift movement—
His sword slashed toward both of them.
The two adventurers were killed instantly.
The battle had ended.
The King and the soldiers were delighted by the result.
They finally believed that the White-Robed Killer would be defeated.
The terror that had plagued Xenozia would finally come to an end.
---
After the battle, Morgan suddenly noticed someone watching him from the direction of the trees.
He looked toward the forest.
There was a White-Robed member standing there.
Morgan's expression immediately changed.
He became excited.
Without hesitation, he moved toward the White-Robed member at tremendous speed.
Using his artifact sword, Wind Cutter, Morgan slashed through the tree trunks around him.
The trees were cut apart effortlessly.
Morgan continued chasing the White-Robed member.
On the other side, the White-Robed member struggled to escape.
The King immediately ordered his soldiers to prepare a horse.
He intended to join the pursuit himself.
Eventually, the White-Robed member could no longer run.
Morgan finally stood face-to-face with him.
With no other choice, the White-Robed member launched a reckless attack.
Instead of frightening Morgan, the attack only caused his excitement to rise.
Morgan became serious.
With the King and several others watching, he attacked the White-Robed member with tremendous force.
Strike after strike landed.
The White-Robed member gradually began to suffer wounds.
Then Morgan unleashed one of his sword techniques with Wind Cutter.
He swung his sword rapidly in every direction around his opponent.
The White-Robed member finally collapsed.
His body was covered in wounds.
Everyone watching was stunned by Morgan's incredible strength.
But then—
Another White-Robed member suddenly appeared.
A slash struck Morgan's back.
Morgan was wounded.
The second attack came immediately afterward.
This time, Morgan managed to block it.
However, his wounds and the enormous amount of mana he had already expended had severely drained his stamina.
The White-Robed member kicked Morgan's sword away.
Morgan was sent flying a great distance.
His body was badly injured.
Everyone's attention immediately turned toward Morgan.
But in that moment—
The White-Robed member disappeared.
Not only did the mysterious figure vanish from their sight, but one of the White-Robed bodies had disappeared as well.
---
That night, the members of the royal family discussed everything that had happened.
Morgan, who was still recovering from his injuries, also participated in the discussion.
Everyone was deeply shaken and shocked.
There was more than one White-Robed member.
Morgan then gave his own conclusion.
"The White Robes are probably a large-scale organization."
King Raiden became extremely worried.
If even a single member of the White-Robed organization was this powerful, then what would happen if all of them attacked Xenozia at once?
The Kingdom could be destroyed with ease.
Because of this, the King desperately hoped that Morgan would be able to stop them.
The King even offered Morgan various rewards if he succeeded in killing every member of the White-Robed organization.
Among those rewards was something extraordinary.
Eighty percent of the Kingdom's wealth.
The ministers and members of the royal family were immediately shocked by the King's offer.
Morgan readily accepted.
From the beginning, his goal had been to eradicate the White-Robed organization.
He did not care how many members they had.
He was completely confident that his abilities were far above theirs.
As for his defeat earlier, Morgan had an excuse.
"That was only a warm-up. I haven't even shown my true power yet."
---
Meanwhile, at the White-Robed organization's headquarters, one of the members had returned.
He had managed to bring back the body of another White-Robed member.
The body was placed directly in front of the organization's boss.
The member carrying the body then removed his mask.
It was Agasa.
She was the one who had sent Morgan flying earlier.
No one knew exactly what happened next.
The boss used a certain magic.
Suddenly, both the body lying before him and Agasa disappeared.
Agasa simply remained silent as she watched.
Then the boss gave her another mission.
"Tomorrow night, I want to see Morgan Vistuz's head."
Agasa silently accepted the order.
---
The following morning, Akito woke up.
He opened the window of his house.
And immediately froze.
Agasa was already standing outside his window.
She was completely silent.
Akito stared at her in surprise.
"Why did you come this early?"
He paused.
"And how did you even know where my house was?"
Agasa looked at him.
"Actually, I—"
"Wa-wait a second! We just met!"
Akito immediately interrupted her.
His mind began running wild again.
He thought Agasa might actually like him.
But Agasa simply remained silent.
Then she continued what she had wanted to say.
"Actually, I wanted to invite you to the riverside."
Akito froze.
"Uh?"
---
After all the misunderstandings were cleared up, Akito and Agasa walked together toward the riverside near the forest.
As they walked, Akito kept wondering why Agasa had suddenly invited him there.
Then Agasa began asking him questions.
"How have you been?"
She then asked about his family.
After that, she asked about his farm.
Then came several other formal questions.
The conversation felt almost like a stiff elementary school conversation.
Akito became increasingly confused.
Agasa continued asking one formal question after another.
Eventually, they arrived at the riverbank.
The river's water was clear and peaceful.
Several villagers were carrying out their daily activities nearby.
Some were fishing.
Others were working in their gardens.
The peaceful scenery made Akito feel calm.
He closed his eyes for a moment.
Then Agasa suddenly spoke.
"You're cool."
Akito opened his eyes.
He became confused once again.
"Thank you..."
He did not know what else to say.
Then Agasa praised him again.
This time, she complimented his hairstyle.
Akito became even more confused.
"Uh... thank you?"
He had no idea why Agasa kept complimenting him.
What Akito did not realize was that Agasa would continue praising him for hours.
Her words were always delivered in the same cold tone.
Her expression never changed.
The compliments were followed by more formal conversations.
More questions.
More stiff dialogue.
And Agasa continued speaking with the same emotionless expression.
---
Several hours later, after being showered with various formal questions and statements from Agasa, the two finally decided to return to the village.
When they arrived, Agasa and Akito separated and headed in different directions.
As Agasa walked away, she looked at something she had brought with her.
It was a book she had borrowed from the Xenozia Library.
The title was:
"How to Make Friends."
No one knew why Agasa had borrowed a book like that.
Meanwhile, Akito continued to wonder about Agasa and her strange behavior.
But there was one thing he did not know.
Tonight, Agasa would have to fight again.
