"The Kamo Clan head..."

Tokyo, Shinjuku.

At the Time Vessel Association's House of the Children of the Star, Itsuki sat in the main seat and listened to White Zetsu's report.

He nodded faintly.

Kenjaku had not appeared personally.

But the Kamo Clan he had thrown out was likely already abandoned.

One of the Big Three Families.

Even if the Kamo Clan had declined, it had still accumulated resources for a thousand years.

Kenjaku had discarded it without hesitation.

Ruthless.

"Since Kenjaku has not been exposed, he still intends to follow the plan he prepared," Itsuki said.

"So we just let it go?"

White Zetsu muttered unhappily.

"Number 9528 being wasted at Jujutsu High is one thing, but what about my poor Caterpillar?"

"I have not blamed you for the phone yet," Itsuki said. "Do not complain."

"And abandon the body at Jujutsu High. Its short-term memory loss is a fatal flaw."

"It is all that old monster's fault."

Killing intent flashed through White Zetsu's eyes.

"I really want to kill that shady bastard right now."

"He cannot be touched yet."

Itsuki looked at him.

"If you want to vent, take Hisashi and Naobito to the Kamo estate."

"Bring back cursed tools and information. Leave no survivors."

Itsuki had originally planned to go himself, but letting White Zetsu vent his resentment was acceptable.

White Zetsu rolled up his sleeve and flexed one thick arm.

"Relax. This time, there will be no mistake."

"When Number One moves, success is guaranteed."

Itsuki nodded.

With that body, White Zetsu had no reason to fail.

White Zetsu pulled his sleeve back down, then changed the subject.

"By the way, Satoru Gojo is not that strong. Was he really worth all that attention?"

"Gojo is not as weak as you think."

Itsuki's voice was quiet.

"He underestimated me. Or rather, he was too proud."

"If he had treated me like an opponent on Sukuna's level, he would not have lost so quickly."

"From the start, he was not serious enough. He lacked the tension you need against an enemy."

"When the domains broke, he should have tried to heal his cursed technique burnout with Reverse Cursed Technique immediately."

In the manga, Gojo had grasped that method on his own.

Sukuna had clearly applied enough pressure to make Gojo prepare fully before the fight.

As Itsuki said, Gojo's quick defeat today was due in large part to underestimating him.

Otherwise, he could at least have forced out one more of Itsuki's hidden cards.

Seeing White Zetsu's thoughtful expression, Itsuki sighed inwardly.

He was not explaining this because he wanted to praise Gojo.

He was afraid this idiot would look down on Gojo and use Number One to provoke him.

Itsuki could suppress Gojo.

White Zetsu's Number One could not.

"Right. How did the task go?"

White Zetsu paused, then pulled a sealed medical container from his pocket. It was about a finger long and two fingers wide, wrapped tightly with talismans.

Even through the seals, Itsuki could feel the life inside.

"I told you, Number One never misses."

White Zetsu held it out.

"Cursed wombs Four through Nine."

At Jujutsu High, in the student lounge, the students from both schools sat in silence.

Maki and Mai were the worst.

The low pressure around them might as well have had "do not approach" written across their faces.

Itsuki had been a teacher to them.

White Zetsu had been a companion.

The apparent betrayal of that man and that curse weighed heavily on Yuji, Nobara, and the others.

"Yo. Everyone's here."

"White Zetsu?!"

The students stared in shock at White Zetsu, who walked in beside Gojo as if nothing had happened.

They did not know what Jujutsu High had recorded, but if it had made Gojo attack Itsuki directly, it could not have been a small matter.

"What, just a tiny little world-destruction thing. No need to make such a fuss."

White Zetsu dropped into the seat beside Yuji.

"World destruction?!" Yuji shouted.

White Zetsu grinned under everyone's stare.

"Joking."

Megumi looked at Gojo.

"Gojo-sensei, what is this?"

Gojo spread his hands.

"Nothing we can do. This is not White Zetsu's main body, so killing him is useless."

"If we try to force him to talk, his soul can just leave the body."

"Correct."

White Zetsu stretched his neck with pride.

"A mere Jujutsu High cannot do anything to yours truly."

"That is the situation," Gojo told the students. "Besides, he is only a Grade 4 cursed spirit. You could slap him dead whenever you want, so keeping him around as a mascot is fine."

White Zetsu chose to ignore that sentence. His expression remained arrogant.

"By the way, White Zetsu."

Gojo looked at the curse striking a pose.

"Yuji is your little brother, more or less. Want to talk about his birth?"

In the recording, Fake Smile and White Zetsu had discussed Yuji, but only in rough terms.

"My birth?"

Yuji pointed at himself, looking back and forth between Gojo and White Zetsu.

"Tch."

White Zetsu rubbed his chin and frowned as if thinking.

In reality, his mind had already flown back to Itsuki.

After a moment, he looked at Yuji and Gojo.

"How about I trade this information for Caterpillar?"

Gojo nodded without hesitation.

He had already checked that storage cursed spirit. Aside from a pile of junk cursed tools, there was nothing important inside.

Satisfied, White Zetsu grinned and patted Yuji on the shoulder.

Then he dropped the bomb.

"Pink gorilla's mother is the leader of those special grade cursed spirits."

"The volcano head from that night, the special grade who infiltrated the event, and the stitched-face one you and Nanami ran into..."

"All of them are pieces prepared by your mother."

"Oh, and the one who entered the Tombs of the Star Corridor, killed people, and stole the treasures was led by Pink Gorilla's mother too."

Gojo's gaze sharpened.

"Are you serious?"

White Zetsu lifted both hands with a shrug.

"Yours truly is not as slippery as you humans. The information is absolutely true."

Kenjaku had already wiped Yuji's family records clean from top to bottom.

Aside from names and a few scattered traces of the past, there was nothing valuable left there.

With Itsuki's permission, White Zetsu had simply used the information to trade for Caterpillar.

"My... mother?"

Yuji stared at White Zetsu, his body trembling slightly.

Raised by his grandfather, Wasuke Itadori, Yuji had almost no memory of his parents.

His father's face was a blur.

His mother was not even that.

"White Zetsu..."

Yuji's expression twisted.

"What are you talking about?"

Everyone around them held their breath.

This was explosive.

"That is the truth."

White Zetsu looked at Gojo.

"If you do not believe me, make a Binding Vow with me."

"I told you. Remember to have someone bring Caterpillar back later."

Willing to use a Binding Vow as proof.

Gojo had no choice but to believe it.

"Yuji," he asked seriously, "who exactly was your mother?"

Seeing Gojo-sensei's face, Yuji's thoughts blurred.

Something seemed to flicker deep in his memory.

An afternoon.

A wooden house.

His grandfather's grim expression.

His father's gentle gaze.

And a woman with stitches around her forehead.
