Excited, the flying army approaches Evelyn and company, closing in and seriously pestering them.
"Wow, the Hive Five! The real deal is here!"
"Who of them is who? I want to shake forelegs with the Vanguard!"
"And I want to ask the Sage about my future!"
Trying to avoid them, the chosen ladies desperately cluster together, but the bees only get closer.
Ume: Aah! Please, not everyone at once!
Chloe: What's even happening here? Give me a break!
Evelyn: Bee! Do something, please!
Candy: Yeah! This is starting to get outta hand!
Bee then claps to close the honey portal behind them as the waterfall of honey runs dry and the honeycomb above turns into the magical hexagonal tablet once more.
Then Bee whistles, causing its device to emit a deafening sound. Everyone holds their ears and the swarm of bees draws back at last. The noise stops and Bee positions itself between the Hive Five and the way too nosy fellow bees.
Bee: All of you, calm the heck down! I know it's exciting to have them here, but you should restrain yourselves! They didn't even have enough space to breathe!
"Oh, sorry."
"I didn't mean to."
"Yeah, it was just so exciting."
Bee: As long as you understand. And now get to work, ladies!
Bee points at the still honey-coated group.
"Aaah, I see! Please leave it to us, Bee!"
A bunch of the bees extend their forelegs toward them, slowly making the honey on their bodies flow and gather at one spot in the air, eventually removing all the honey sticking to everyone. Another bee holds up a pot and in a synchronized movement of their legs, they send the collected honey right into it.
Evelyn: That is much better. Thank you.
"You're welcome, honored warriors."
Bee: Actually, you don't have to make such a big deal out of it. They're worker bees, so it's essentially their job to collect honey. Ain't that right?
"Sure! We're happy to help!"
Bee: By the way, she's one of my closer siblings, Beeatrix. Come here so I can properly introduce you!
The bee who talked last then floats to the group, hovering next to Bee now.
Beeatrix: It's an honor to meet the legendary heroes! I'm Beeatrix. I sure hope my little brother didn't give you too much trouble.
"... Little brother?"
Seemingly in shock, the group glares at Bee now.
Evelyn: Wait, then it means Bee is-
Candy: WHAT? BEE IS MALE?! THEN WHY THE HELL DID I LET YOU INTO THE BATHROOM WHEN I TOOK A BATH?!
Gertrud: Believe me, nobody knows. You honestly only have yourself to blame.
Ume: Uhm... and why exactly did you do that?
Candy: In TV shows, magical girls bring their mascot to the bathroom all the time, so I didn't think it strange!
Ume: ...That's a very strange logic to act on.
Chloe: Also, what the fluffernutter are the shows you're watching?!
Candy hides her face with her palms in embarrassment.
Candy: I can't believe it... BEE, YOU PERV!
Bee: What?! Why is that my fault now?! And just so you know, human bodies don't interest me in the slightest.
Candy: That somehow makes it even worse!!
Bee: Huh?!
Evelyn: That's enough. Candy dear, don't be sad. It was an unfortunate turn of events. And Bee, you be nice now and apologize to her.
Bee: Why me?!
Beeatrix: Well, you obviously shouldn't have gone inside together with her. That's common sense. But since she acted quite naively herself, an apology should suffice. Now go say sorry, Bee.
Bee: Okay... I'm sorry, Candy. Can you forgive me?
Candy: Hmm... I guess. I can tell you really mean it.
Bee: ...Thanks. But we have to move on now, we still have to meet up with The Queen Bee.
Evelyn: Alright. Then let us go.
Beeatrix: I do have something urgent to inform everyone about, so I'll tag along! You other guys, go back to your own business!
"Aw... okay."
So the crowd of bees surrounding them dissipates, each of them returning to their designated task. Meanwhile, the others head off in the direction of the castle.
Evelyn: But honestly, I never really thought about if Bee was female or male. Bee was simply Bee to me.
Gertrud: And I never really cared.
Bee: Hey!! I clearly am a drone! See? I don't have pollen baskets and I'm a bit taller than them! Hmpf!
Candy: ...I can't tell the difference.
Bee: How mean!
Changing the topic, Chloe now intervenes the conversation.
Chloe: I don't mean to sound rude, but what about this Queen Bee?
Ume: You don't know? Bee... weren't you supposed to fill everyone in about this magical stuff as soon as they joined us? You forgot to properly explain everything to Chloe, didn't you? She just went home on her own yesterday and you haven't told her anything today, either!
Bee: ...Crap, I really forgot! Thanks for the reminder! It takes a while to get where we need to go, just let me explain everything on our way.
Chloe: Okay. Please, tell me what I need to know!
As they progress, the castle draws nearer and nearer while they are busy with Bee's explanation. Finally, they reach the enormous gate to the castle.
Bee: Finally here. But first, all of you transform. This is an audience with The Queen Bee, after all!
Evelyn: Do we really have to?
Bee: If you all have ball gowns on you to wear now, no.
Everybody breathes a deep sigh, but transforms anyway.
Bee: Okay, listen. We're about to meet the Queen, so beehive yourselves!
Gertrud: ...One more stupid pun and I'll get the flyswatter again, insect!
Bee: NOOOO! BEE CALM!
Gertrud: I mean it!
Bee: EEEEEK! A-Anyhow, we'll go inside!
The great doors leading inside magically open for them and they enter. Inside, two bee guards with swords, armor and all await them near the entrance as the doors close behind them. Being the same still little size as Bee himself, they almost look cute in their uniforms.
Bee guard: What is your business here?
Bee: I, The Chosen Scout, have returned with The Hive Five and wish to report to The Queen Bee, as I was ordered to.
Bee guard: Very well. You may go on.
The interior walks, round and arch-like, seem to be made of gold, shimmering elegantly in the faint light inside and seeming to come from nowhere.
The big hall they are currently in additionaly leads to smaller doors on the right and left. Straight ahead lies one larger, ornate and honeycomb-cell-shaped doorway. They walk straight through it, and their human group members nearly have a heart attack.
A giant, dignified bee, easily reaching two meters in height and holding a jeweled staff, appears to have already awaited them.
"Welcome, warriors of the prophecy. Please, you may enter."
