Chapter 5 - Meeting the Great Mage

The Next Day....

Aion and I continue our journey on the way to the capital.

After a while, we suddenly decided to take a break, there Aion started to teach how to use "Flight magic".

『 Okay, it's time to you teach Flight magic 』he said...

"So how do you do it?" I asked..

『 First, concentrate 』
『 Use the mana in your body and visualise like you were floating in the air 』
『 Think like yourself like you were a cloud or a bubble in the sky 』he said...

And so I started concentrating....
Mana......Floating......Like a cloud......

Not for long, in just a minute I started to float.
I could see both of my feet just lift up from the ground.

"I'm really floating in the air!!!"
I was shocked and a bit nervous

"Hey, I did it, I used magic for the first time"
"I can fly!"
"Is there a way to fly faster than this?"
"I think it's too slow" I asked him....

But when I looked at his face, he wasn't even suprise at all that I was able to use flight magic that easily when he said It would even take a whole day for normal person to learn it!

All I can see from his face is a smile with a proud face while glaring at me.

"Hey! Aion! Are you listening?"

『 Ahh yes! yes! 』
『 Sorry I spaced out there 』
『 That was excelent, even I, takes me a whole day to learn flight magic the first time I was learning it 』he said...

『 And ohh if you were asking if there's a way to fly faster! 』
『 Yes, you can fly faster than that but not fast enought to fight in the air』
『 No one has ever fly as fast an eagle before 』
『 Even I and the other people who master the Flight magic can't fly that fast 』
『 It's all depend on how good you visualise your speed while keeping yourself floating in the air at the same time 』
he said...

"Is that so "
"That's too bad"

As I was floating much higher in the air, I could already see the whole forest below me.
"Wow, I've never been this high before!"
"Flight magic is amazing"

As I was enjoying myself by the scenery, I saw someone from a far falling so fast from the sky.

"Wait, is he/she unconcious"
"He/she is not slowing down at all"
"He/she might die falling from that height"
"But I can't fly that fast to reach and save him/her"
"What should I do?".....

I quickly asked Aion for help...

"Hey Aion! Didn't you say there's a Enhancement Magic!"
"Can you use it?"

『 Yes, I can use it 』he said...

"Then use Enhancement Magic to enhance your strength and swing your sword as strong you can towards me as if like your going to kill me"

『 This might sound dangerous! 』
『 But I trust you in your words! 』
『 Here I go! 』

And so Aion used Enhancement Magic and swing his sword towards me as strong as he can as I fly in his direction.

I quickly bring out my sword and put it in under my feet like stepping on it, as my sword blocked the blow from Aion's sword, I was thrown so strong in the air towards the direction where the person is falling as I keep myself control in the air with Flight magic!.

"Would I make it?" I asked myself...
I started to reach out my arms to get ready to catch the person falling. With enough time I was able to reach him/her in time.

As I catch her, the wieght and the force from his fall couldn't keep up my flight magic, good thing we where able to crash in the lake that soften our landing.

It was a beautiful girl that I saved.
She was wearing a big pointy hat and a big black cloak.
I quickly bring her off to shore.

"Hey are you okay?" I asked her...
Seconds later she started to open her eyes.

『 Did you saved me? 』she asked...

"Yes, I saw you falling from the sky, that's why I saved you" I replied...

Her eyes suddenly starts to sparkle with a wide smile in her lips

She suddenly hugged me tightly while grinning and blushing...

She kept saying and saying my name many many times

"He..hey what are you doing?"
"Stop that! It tickles!"

『 Thank you so much! 』she said...

"Okay! Okay! You're welcome! So could please let go of me, it's embarrassing"
"No one has ever hug me like this before"

『 So thats mean! I got to be your first hug 』she said as she kept hugging me endlessly.

A minute later, Aion arrived as he follow me here where I landed

"By the way, how did you know my name when we just met?"
"I never told you my name yet"

『 Ohh that! 』
『 I used Appraisal using Observation magic 』she replied...

Observation magic???!!!
Another useful but complicated magic again!

『 That's a great name you got there! 』
『 I loved it, it makes me wanna hug you more everytime I heard it 』she said...

She still keeping hugging while I kept resisting

"So how about you?"
"You got a name?" I politely asked..

『 My name is "Seika" 』
『 I'm a mage 』

"Okay, it's nice to meet you Seika"

And so I meet another wierd person on my journey into the capital.
We where both soaking wet the first time we met, what strange way to met strangers.

Later on, Seika became my companion!
With her, Aion, and I, we all travel together on the way to the capital.......
