Chapter 3:

The Aftermath

To Start A New Life

The aftermath of the incident brought sudden changes in him.He started feeling envious of any couple his age he came across. He started to do what people usually did when they hit puberty.Maybe it was the lack of a partner or just simple jealousy that he was so jealous of people in love to a point that he even wished death on a few.Kiara had a growing set of suitors following her everywhere. She even smiled at a few while dined with the ones among who were among her friends. This was affecting Ronit in a bad way.Her smile was worth millions to him.He didn't know what to do or why he was feeling jealous of some nobodies. He kept getting distracted by her until Saraya realized what was going on and she took it onto herself to do something about it .So,Saraya eventually introduced Ronit to Kiara and they became quick friends. He started to hang out with both.It went on for a good year but then he started to hang out more with Kiara and grew distant with Saraya. Then Ronit did what every teenager or anybody at his age would do which to dub attraction he felt towards her into love.It was a natural course.

On the other hand,Saraya didn't mind the distance. She always wanted the best for him and she was happy that finally Ronit will find his soulmate in Kiara and they will be happy together. The distance helped her to get her shit together and gave her more time to focus on her personal life.Things were working quite well at the beginning but problems in her household were disturbing her.She tried to find solace in gaming but that didn’t help either. She felt a longing for a human's touch but she didn't understand why.She tried to contact Ronit but stopped at the last minute considering how well he was doing with Kiara. She didn't want to ruin their relationship.Thinking about there made her jealous. It seemed natural to her as he was her only friend and he didn’t have any time for her.But she was still okay with it.The time kept moving at its pace while it slowed down for Saraya.New problems were knocking at her door.
