The Ultimate Cheat

Seeing Ume and Candy with their weapons, Gertrud appears to get a little jealous.

Gertrud: ...Morning stars! Would you mind crafting one for me too, Candy?
Candy: Sure!
Bee: No way! Your shield is more than enough! And what the hell are you doing, Chloe?!

Apparently, the pregnant gal had decided to munch on her starfruit harp.

Bee: Hey, don't eat your own magic!
Chloe: But... but...! I'm craving something sour right now and this starfruit is just right!
Candy: Oh, really?

Then Candy takes a bite from her cotton candy cone, visibly enjoying the bite she took.

Candy: You're right! This is good stuff!
Bee: STOP EATING YOUR FREAKING MAGIC!!

As these two keep nibbling on their magical tools - much to Bee's dismay - Ume simply shakes her head. While Evelyn is busy fighting the oversized burger and Gertrud is pounding the bundle of French fries, the coke monster gets up again. Unnoticed by her, it sways, making a surge of its cola hit poor Candy and the cotton candy on her ornate stick dissolves immediately.

Cola monster: Honor to the Dark Kingdom!
Candy: HEY!! HOW COULD YOU?! My cotton candy... that's it, I've had enough! Girls, stall some time for me and keep these three busy for a bit!
Burger monster: Huh? Whatcha tryin', dude?
Candy: Wait and see, freaks! ...And I'm a girl!

Chloe plays the last chord available for her magical instrument, making the giant coke drowsy this time. With Evelyn and Gertrud still fighting back the other two, Candy then raises her stick up high.

Candy: I call upon the power of my purity! Gather and come to me!

New cotton candy appears atop her cone, which begins to glow, and it gradually gets brighter until it ultimately shines in a bright gleam.

Candy: Cotton Candy Carnival!

Swirling, a massive amount of cotton candy expands from her stick, slowly but surely covering each of the monstrosities in a thick layer of it. As the sweet twister lets up, nothing but three big balls of cotton candy is left to be seen.

Fries monster: Yo, what's going on here, G?
Burger monster: Dawg, they captured our entire fam! That's crazy!
Coke monster: The enemy hath robbed our sight! Such shame!
Evelyn: Good! I will put an end to these unbelievably rude ones, once and for all!

Evelyn: I call upon the power of my will! Gather and come to me!

While countless tiny, glittering lights appear around Evelyn that are slowly spiraling toward her like in a vortex, Ume, Gertrud and Candy quickly roll the three monsters together and gather them in front of Evelyn. The lights unite at the tip of her golden spear, which now emits a gorgeous light. She draws back her spear, steps back and lunges toward the weird creatures.

Evelyn: BEE STING RUSH!

The shiny spear impales the beasts, hit by seemingly countless thrusts in fast succession. While her partisan keeps punching one hole after another through them, the monsters eventually disappear, the burger and fries in a red fire and the coke bursts into many round candies that vanish shortly after they hit the ground.

Panting, Evelyn stops, then smiles at the others.

Evelyn: That was nicely done! And as a reward, I have a surprise for all of you.
Gertrud: A surprise?
Candy: Really? Yay!
Chloe: How kind of you. I'm looking forward to it!
Ume: And whatever might that be?
Evelyn: You will find out soon. Are all of you free now? We can get there right away by simply using the car.

As they revert everything to normal, Colonel's observing eyes follow them from a tree inside a forest near the soccer field with a sly grin.

The group of heroines, now back in their civilian clothes, has made itself comfortable at two of the outside tables of Evelyn's favorite confectionery Sweet Dreams, having pushed them close together so five people could properly lead a conversation and still eat in peace with enough space in between.

Evelyn: I am happy we finally got to come here together. The plan was coming here right after our team got completed, but those monsters have kept us far too busy until now. With this, I want to celebrate our completion. Also, I want to show just how much it means to me that all of you do your best to protect the town. You may order whatever you like, it is my treat!
Chloe: Really? But what about our diabetes?
Ume: Easy, just do what we always do.
Chloe: Erm... and what exactly is that what we do?
Candy: The ultimate Hive Five cheat: Stuff yourself with sweets, transform afterwards and spam some magic! My life surely has become much more enjoyable!
Chloe: Eeeh?! It's that easy?!
Gertrud: Apparently, yes. But you are pregnant and supposed to eat healthy. This is why we didn't tell you before. Today is an exception.
Chloe: Wow, I'm so happy that I could get contractions!
Candy: ...The hell are you saying, Chloe?
Evelyn: Well then, order whatever you like from the menu!

Evelyn opens her black bag, handing a menu card to Bee, too.

Evelyn: That also includes you. You can have whatever you want.
Bee: Wow, thanks a bunch, Evelyn!

While everyone starts picking their favorite cake from the menu, a waiter comes over to take their order. A bit later, he returns with a tray with five cups of coffee atop and distributes them among the group.

He leaves again, turning up with two trays and cakes on plates on top of them this time. A Bee Sting Cake goes to Evelyn, a blackcurrant tart to Gertrud, a plum cake to Ume, a meringue layer cake to Candy and a lemon cake to Chloe.

Another cake is put on the table - a honey cake that obviously belongs to Bee. As the waiter leaves them to enjoy their pastries, everyone's eyes begin to sparkle.

Ume: My oh my, these really look scrumptious!
Evelyn: Of course they do. This is my first-choice confectionery. They only serve the best of cakes in the whole town.
Candy: These are far too good-looking to only look at them! Let's eat!

All of them take a bite with their fork, immediately on cloud nine as they chew in delight. While the others are busy eating, Evelyn takes the plate with the honey cake, secretly feeding Bee inside her bag while nobody watches with another fork. He also tries a bite, then keeps munching on the piece with red cheeks on his face.

Chloe: Haaaa, that was just right after all the trouble we had fighting back all of these creatures!
Candy: M-hmm! I'm in heaven...
Gertrud: We truly were quite occupied with that lately. All the more reason to relish this moment in peace.
Evelyn: That is true. I really enjoy this right now, too.
Ume: However... Colonel didn't show up once since the day we completed the Hive Five. Something about that unsettles me. Like he was up to something and lurking in the dark in the meantime.

Suddenly, a man joins them, standing next to the table now. While her companions eye him up in curiosity, Evelyn scrunches up her face as soon as she sees Carl next to her.

Carl: Hello there again. We haven't seen each other for a while.
