Chapter 1:
The Cabal of Misfits
Darkness. Nothing but silent and darkness all around.
Slowly dimming down to see some actual light of him. Naked. Nothing but the lean tone, a moderate exposed bust size of a young looking woman, around mid-twenties, 25 at most, who is laying inside of a giant… bird nest? A bird nest underground. Why is she in the bird nest, for one who doesn’t know. All she knows is that she’s naked, tightly gripping a pure white marble-like necklace, an Adventurer’s Tag, and everything feels shotty, both reflexes and memory. The feeling of thick liquid is coming down from the ceiling of the underground roof. Where is this liquid coming from, but the only thing is this one person that is sitting inside the underground bird nest, that the liquid originated from above. But the stench? It’s horrible, beyond anything she could smell.
Where am I? How did I get here in this underground room?
Opening my mouth and trying to talk but the throat is numb, nothing couldn’t come out, the only sound of grunts and groans can echo the walls of the underground room.
I can’t talk? Something bad must have happened if I wasn't able to talk. Whatever, I need to find my way out of here.
Pushing herself to stand up but the legs gave out, nothing but this unnerving feel of electrical numbness that is preventing him from making any progress. Collapsing down into the bird nest, landing onto the branchy nest.
Oh great! First I can’t talk, and now I can’t move? Was I hit from a Numbing Spell or something? Because this is so uncomfortable! Alright! Let’s start this out slowly!
She pulls her arm over himself.
One pull at a time.
Each pull is loosing up the feel of numbness, gripping onto each pile of the bird nest in order to pull herself towards a wall. Lifting each leg up in order to help him crawl closer towards the wall itself after the numbness is letting up, but the liquid? The liquid is gripping onto the branches down below and pulling her back, slim-like, to pull her back, landing on his back. Taking a few deep breaths.
How did this happen? The last thing I recall was…
A flash memory of a silhouette of a dragon. A white scale dragon with blue flames spewing out of the scales and using its four wings to blow the blue flames all around to create a hellish heat of a ring. Nothing but other adventurers are trying to slay this divine beast of blue flames, but only to fall from its flames. Everything is being engulfed into flames, seeing nothing but other civilians making a run for it until the flame caught up to them all. All but me.
The White Dragon. Yes. Now I remember! That blue flame.
Raising her arm to examine the liquid again.
This isn’t sweat or anything, but could it be the dragon’s saliva? No. It can’t be nitrogen liquid? But how could nitrogen liquid be this thick though? And why does it smell horrible?
She pulls herself up in order to stand up, regaining strength in order to walk properly but still slightly weak. Finding a foundation to maintain herself once he grabs onto a large amount of the branches of the bird nest. Using the sides to walk towards the only opening of the underground bird nest.
But that doesn’t explain the bird nest though. And what’s odd is this chest?
Looking down to see a chest of clothes, as if this was planned all along. Like whoever pulls her down here and puts her into the bird nest must be expecting him to leave, but the choices of clothing seem random though. It’s a mixture of men's and women's clothing, even seeing children’s clothing, so the choices are limited.
Leaning towards the chest from the bird nest, but leaning too much, she fell and landed hard onto the rough ground around the bird nest, feeling the sharp pain of the back.
She screamed, “Son of a bitch! Motherfucker! Out of all the things that have happened to me, having a stick up in my ass is literally the last thing I wanted!”
Wearing nothing and feeling a rock went straight onto the cheek of her backside, and even feeling a stick going up into the only hole have, but secretly that it made her another hole, something far from the more sensitive hole of his liking.
Flicking the stick. Groans from the slight movement from the stick, slightly drooling from the pain, pressing the head onto the ground. The rock is oddly the smoothest part of the ground as the pain of the ass is the quite opposite.
“Alright! Just pull it out, and deal with it!”
Tightly grip the stick, taking quick sharp breaths before she’s ready to pull it out. Blood spewing out from the back. Nothing but horrid screams are heard throughout the ground, nothing but echoing the underground walls, throwing the stick away.
“FUCK!!!”
Rubbing her backside to soothe it, tears are flowing down from the side of her face, nothing but pain. Didn’t want to move, wanting to let the backside rest and heal up.
Out of all the things I should’ve been, I should have been a Priestess or a Witch Apprentice. So I can learn Healing Spells, but how many Healing Spells that actually heal the ass?
Crawling towards the chest, seeing if there’s any medication or potions in order to heal the ass. Tossing each clothing around, seeing nothing but clothes, clothes, and more clothes.
“God damnit!”
Painfully stands up to toss a pretty dress on the bird nest. The pain is still there, for each lift of the leg is feeling like nothing but blood is pouring out of her and leaving nothing but a trail that leads back to her. There’s a bucket of water, slightly dirty but that is to be expected from her location by being underground, so she washes herself. It does help out on getting rid of the God awful smell, but not all of it. Her natural scent from her hair, armpits, feet and private smell are still lingering, drying herself off by using the children's clothes. Especially cleaning the bloody backside even though each scrub is feeling like her backside is widening the hole up.
Looking at each clothing she aggressively tosses around, she grabs a few pieces of clothing, wearing nothing but the simple clothing of a dress with a vest, leggings, travelling boots, and a headband for her hair. There’s something heavy inside of the vest pocket but it’s not too bothersome, thus ignore it for now.
These clothing will have to do, but these feel like adventurer clothing though. Were there adventurers here? If so, where’s the bodies? If I managed to survive, but…
A realization came to her. Why was she naked to begin with? Was she violated or something? There’s stories about young maidens being violated during a village attack by raiders, but an attack from a dragon? It’s far too early for such an attack, but why was she naked? Her town did have some pretty maidens but the Maiden Offering season isn’t here, so there shouldn’t be anything related to the situation happening.
Looking up to the roof to see the thick liquid, knowing that it’s not a male love liquid or sweat due to the lack of the odor, so what could it be? A creature saliva, but why kind of creature that could leave odorless saliva? Oh well, it’s a mystery for another day, but whoever brought her down here, they might not have pureful thinking.
Looking around if this chest has weapons, a knife or a bow and arrow equipment? Anything? There’s some special fingerless gloves that are attached to the handle in the middle of curved knives, two of them. Immediately grab them, tightly tugging them.
“Yes! So glad these are still here!”
Pulls out the boomerang knives to observe them to see the blades are quite smooth but the handles are showing signs of being used. Putting the gloves on, nothing happened but it came with the boomerangs, so she wears them out of respect.
“I can stab whoever or whatever comes after me. Certainly not to return or donate them to the nearest weapons store. Gotta make some quick cash while I’m at it, but how much would I get if I do decide to sell these? Who would use boomerangs as weapons? Wonder if we have a lantern too? Because I can’t see anything that isn’t right up to my face.”
Scrounging around the chest again, seeing if she could find anything else inside the chest to use to light up the room. Lucky enough, she has found matches for fire but no candle to light it up. Regardless, she found her light source, but what could she use for her match? Grabbing the largest branch she could find, she wraps the unused clothes around the large end of the branch then lights it up for a makeshift torch. Lighting up the room to reveal herself, a violet hair woman and yellow eyes, fair skin. She sees an abnormal rock that is leaking above where she was laying at, then a hole leading somewhere away from the bird nest. Is it a way out, or somewhere she doesn’t want to know? She needs to venture out regardless or else she’ll die here.
“This is a first for me, but this gotta work now. But where will this take me?”
She walks into the darkness, nothing but trembling fear and shaken will, but she had to pull herself into the darkness. The blood is still bleeding from her leg, leaving a trail though.
Alone in the dark with nothing but her thoughts, but the loneliness of the dark is still enough to break the strongest of men and women out in the field as an Adventurer. All she could do as she walked alone in the dark was try to remember what she was doing.
What was I doing before the White Dragon attacked? I only recall that I was working at a tavern. No. A Hunter’s Haberdashery. I was helping this really pretty Priestess, she was a real dame.
Memories of seeing herself as a worker maid, feeding men and women, and escorting them to their rooms of the Haberdashery. A young Priestess girl, the same age as she, at the age of sixteen. Wearing a traditional gown and all, and her weapon of choice is a bow and arrow.
There was also this really handsome boy I’ve got to meet that day as well. Was he a noble of some kind?
The handsome squire boy with a simple sword and shield, much nicer and well equipped than most of the normal Adventurers that came to the Haberdashery. Were he and the Priestess a party? Was he with others? But it sounds nice to have some kind of a party in order to travel across the lands and explore the world. Sadly though, the only thing that has to come with that job is to slay dangerous monsters, or at least, oversized animals. The bigger the monster, the bigger the pay.
Unknown to her, there’s a small hoard of the oversized rats that are ready to pounce but for some reason, they are keeping their distances away from her. Why? Are they afraid of her, or is it something else that is keeping their distance?
What felt like hours of walking, and with nothing to eat, she had to survive on whatever she could find but sadly, there’s nothing edible here. And her stomach is feeling a bit empty from the lack of water. The water she had used to clean herself is too dirty to drink, but it seems that the Gods had heard what she wanted, a spring water echoing on the walls. Lifting up her legs to make the break for it, and a small thin light is breaking through the darkness. Dark blue light, indicating that it is nighttime but still good enough.
Entering a wide open room of mossy grass with a spring waterfall that is being bathed under the moonlight. Dirt being kicked into the clean pool of crystal clear water, quickly being disintegrated by the cleanliness of the water, making anything drinkable for anyone who comes across this place. What’s better? There’s the cave entrance, slightly above them all so it’s a quick climb out to freedom.
Running up to drink up as much as she could from the amount of clean water, even dunking herself into the water, laughing and cheering that she’s finally clean from the God awful stench that she was covered with. Even though her rectum blood is still pouring out, the water has somewhat healing capabilities but not enough to heal the wound fully. After leaving the pool, she happily stands up and shakes her head like a dog then smiles after taking off one boomerang glove.
“AH! Now that’s what I needed the most! Hours of walking and stinking up the place, nothing but a clean body!”
Stretching out without knowing a pair of glowing red eyes is piercing through the waterfall, looking down at her as she continues to stretch and looking around to see another chest, much smaller than the clothing chest she woke up to.
“What do we have here?”
A locked chest. And if there’s a locked chest, then it might be filled with something valuable!
Happily walking up to it, kneeling down to observe the chest with a memory of herself practicing on how to lockpick a chest from a client that’s trying to wine and dine the Haberdashery one time. Using a hairpin from her headband to start picking the lock.
“Alright! Let’s see if this is actually true of lockpicking.”
From behind, a couple of oversized rats are slowly walking up to her, preparing to pounce. The lock has been picked and slowly removes the lock and tosses it behind, hitting a giant rat, causing it to make a sound to alert the young maiden of the cave.
Quickly grabs her boomerang knives, defending herself.
“Where the hell did you lot come from?!”
The giant rats, slowly circling around her as their fur is decaying brown with a reek of dread, the same smell that she woke up to. The God awful stench, but how come she couldn’t smell them coming if they were this close? Was it the spring water that was obscuring the smell? However the smell is being obscured, right here and right now, she got herself in a fight. A fight that she’s familiar but not used to.
A memory shot of herself, getting into a bar fight with one of the female Adventurers, but what her mother would usually say when she gets into a fight; she was on the ass end of an ass kicking. So she’s hoping that she’s not on the ass end for this upcoming fight.
“Giant rats? This can’t be too hard, right?”
Shifting her feet to the sides, seeing and counting three giant rats. Their eyes aren’t normal, but blurry. As if they’re actually blind. Were they trailing her by scent? Were they waiting for her to come across this open space, or were they trailing her from the blood that she hadn't nursed before entering the wall? Whatever it is, she has to defend herself.
Throwing a boomerang at one of them from her gloveless hand, cutting her hand in the process. Bleeding from the hand.
“Ow! Shit that hurts!”
Overshooting it and hitting the wall behind them, it bounced off the wall and caused a slight distraction for this young maiden to start stabbing one of them with the other boomerang knife. Stabbing the head of one of the rats to death but the other two pounces.
Rolling under a bounce then throws the other boomerang from her gloved hand, but unlike her gloveless hand, it protected her from cutting herself, slashing a giant rat. The glove glows with the handle of the boomerang to magically fly back into her hand.
Amazed by it, “Why didn’t the other one come back? And why didn’t it cut my hand like the first boomerang?”
She finally puts two-to-two together after she grabs the other boomerang and throws it, but flies but not back into her hand but hitting the ground. It reacted to the gloves, thus, these are Shadow Gloves. Gloves that can call upon small weapons in order to return the small weapons to the owners, and a boomerang is a perfect weapon as it can be returned to the owner in more ways than one.
Seeing the other glove next to the spring water, she runs up to it, a rat runs up to her, preventing her from grabbing the glove. Swinging the boomerang rapidly and wildly in order to keep it at bay.
“You fucking rat! You stay away from me!”
Ducks under once it tries to stand up, slashing through the stomach then quickly changing hands, trying to call upon the other grounded boomerang. The glove and handle glows, it spins back to its hand but it accidentally stabs the third giant rat as it tries to pounce her, nearly killing her if she didn’t call for the boomerang. Kicking the rat away before she runs up to her glove to put it on.
“Okay! Let’s see what else these gloves can do!”
Holding out her hand to let the Shadow Gloves glow. The boomerang knives are glowing and trying to pull themselves out but they’re too deep inside the rats, killing them in the process. Instead of calling the knives back, they’re pulling her towards them. Dragging into the ground before she quickly closes her hands and opens it up to let them reappear back into her hand.
“Oh! Why couldn’t I just do…”
Feeling woozy from it, as if it was forceful. Shadow Gloves are known to have constitution drainage, but didn’t know that they make you feel woozy by forcing something back into the hand. Taking a knee before shaking it off after a quick drink of the water to refresh herself. Placing them back to the knives pockets of the belt, keeping the
“Alright! Now I know what not to do if I’m wearing these gloves! Don’t rely on the recall claps.”
After taking a couple of deep breaths before walking back to the chest that she hasn’t opened.
Happily smiling as she opened up the box, “Time to see what’s inside of this box!”
Seeing a small amount of potions, she happily observes the green potion inside a small bottle.
“Great! Some Healing Potions!”
Drinking up the small bottle to heal up her rectum injury, and any other injuries that could have happened while she was laying inside the bird nest. The Healing Potion safely removes and pushes out anything that doesn’t originate from the body outside of food, and it goes through the clothing as if it’s part of the body itself.
A sigh of relief after having a Healing Potion in order to feel one hundred percent. She continued to examine the other contents of the chest. Two more Healing Potions that she attached to her belt, sliding them inside the bottle pouches. Three blue potions that are for Magic Users, Mana Pottles, they’re more expensive to sell so easy money there. Three red bottles but can’t remember what they’re used for, although they too can make serious money but what were they?
Scratching her right ear then flicking away any wax before standing up, grabbing the small chest but right there, a note fell off from the bottom of the chest. It’s something that she hasn’t noticed before but couldn’t ignore. It could be something important, maybe information on where she is. Placing the chest next to the note, taking a seat on the mossy grassy field to read the note.
To whoever finds this note, I wrote this note in advance if anything has happened to me.
Please be warned inside the cave itself. Giant rats roam around here, having recently brought in a giant egg and a literal giant piece of shit which alone is very out of the ordinary for giant rats despite attacking Plague Town sewer system…
“Plague Town?! That’s across the nation! How the hell did I get all the way out here?! And where’s this adventurer’s body if he travelled here?”
These giant rats only attack for food, but a giant piece of shit? I thought it was odd at first, even gathering branches and such for the egg nest, but why the shit? There’s no meaning to it, but I decided to venture forth in order to find out why.
Unknown, another giant rat is walking on the walls, making its way towards her. Unlike the previous giant rats, this has a spinal extension where the rib cage is exposed, spider-like, look decapitated or been pulled apart.
This is by far the oddest quest I’ve ever been too, but hopefully by the time I reach back, I will discover the secret of the egg, and why they harbour the piece of the shit.
“Okay, that is weird.”
Leaning forward, thinking about her current situation as the spinal exposed giant rat is slowly leaning forward, slowly placing its spider-like rib cage over this lost maiden unknown to her knowledge until one of the ribs taps onto the chest next to her, alerting her.
“What?!”
The rat rolls inwards, trapping the maiden inside with the chest box trap between the rib cages. Trying to defend herself by stabbing with her boomerangs but the bones, they’re much stronger than anything that comes across before. Outside of goblins, giant rats are far easier to kill but this isn’t any ordinary giant rat. Thankfully the chest is preventing the squeeze as it seems to be trying to squeeze the light out of anyone who comes across here before being devoured.
Panicking inside, she kicks the rib cage of the bones that can’t close properly.
“What to do, What to do?!!”
The opening is wide enough for the boomerangs, and looking at her predicament, it’s too dangerous to experiment but it’s a perfect time to be desperate enough to try anything new out here. There’s no room for the arm to fling the boomerang out, so she has to rely on the wrists and her elbows. This whole damn rib cage is so weird. It’s not part of the giant rat at all, but something about it seems off from it. The body is moving rapidly, reacting to the chest that is trapped inside the rib cages.
Flicking the first then stretches out her arm inside the rib cage to activate the pull. The boomerang spins around, following this abomination of a giant rat nonstop until it strikes the leg then slashing through the underside of the body till it gets stuck onto the rib cage bone, causing it to stop with the young maiden looking up to the roof. Flickering the other boomerang then does the same, holding out her hand above the rib cage bone to try to slash through the bone which it did.
“Yes! I’m gonna bust out of here! Time for another!”
She rinses and repeats the process, even having to use the Recall for the other boomerang to do so. Trying to use the second Healing Potion to heal herself but the damn body is moving around too rapidly, some had spilled over into the giant rat’s exposed area. This Healing Potion had caused an unusual reaction. The blood of its body is rejuvenated, the heart is beating and the rat is making its usual rat noises, but dying and pushing the bones out of its body. She hears small crunches coming from the top half of the giant rat, seeing that the bone itself is moving, and spewing out some odd colour of blood. Green blood.
“What the hell? Even rats spew out red. Never green unless it’s a bug or something…”
The top half of the body of the giant rat slowly fell off from the spider rib cage. The top half is rolling in, revealing a flat-sized bug face with pincers next to the mouth and a small drill above the mouth.
“What the actual fuck?!”
Quickly protecting herself from this… this… parasite.
Blocking the mouth and pincers by using her boomerang blade, but the drill is serving more as a tongue. The other end of this giant rat corpse is still moving but out of control, moving blindly. It rolls and the young maiden has successfully escaped from this parasite’s clutches, its rib cage trap. It’s standing on its remaining rib cage legs, the bottom end of the giant rat’s body is still intact with this parasite until it pulls the tail out of its body.
“Shit! It’s like a scorpion or something?!”
Seeing the tail slowly following her, as if it knows where she’s about to strike. A stand still until the parasite strikes with its tail, barely dodging the strike and throwing a boomerang to it. It flips the body, the rib cage legs bends and adapts, keeping the body stable, and continues to strike.
This had recalled a memory of a certain adventurer fighting a rib cage exposed monster where even decapitating the monster did kill it, but not going down without a fight. It still fought until the full spine had been killed.
Blocking each tail strike with one boomerang, and the other is blocking the drill tongue. Rapidly throwing the boomerang to try to kill the parasite, making scratches and cuts onto the body. Did the Healing Potion also heal its body through the giant rat? Even a Healing Potion can’t heal a body limb as it has a rib cage leg, so she has to improvise on something. It’s crawling around the walls, blindly but still focusing on her. Calculating the height, it might do some damage but it’ll only work if she can chop the legs off, but how could see…?
Remember how she stops it from the first time around with the rat body, but it’s a dangerous risk. Throwing each boomerang with a heavier feel behind each arm, seeing them spinning and flying around the parasite before she ran up to it. The very moment the parasite’s tail goes for the piercing strike, she side steps and grabs onto the tail itself. It pulls her in, and the legs bends backwards to entrap her inside the rib cage but it falls due to the fact that it’s on the roof of the cave.
Criss-crossed her arms to call back the boomerangs while her throws were still heavy, they moved much faster and quickly went back towards her, slashing through two legs each. They hit the ground hard, bouncing off the body of the parasite, she rolls out of the way then goes for another heavy throw before charging head-on. The overshot boomerang spins around them, slashing through the tail at the moment it was about to strike her down. She stabs down onto the bug face of the parasite, then call back the other boomerang to finally decapitate the head and spine, causing it to rapidly flail around, swinging the bloody tail and head around, the limbs, still dangerous enough with four remaining, she has to stay on it in order to avoid any potential and randomly death strikes from it.
After the longest eight second ride of her life, it finally died.
Taking deep breaths, she lays there. Covered in sweat and taking breathers as she watches the moon dances above her.
That damn bug finally died! But that battle took too much from me, so tired. Fighting rats and that thing, such a pain. I need to move or else whatever pulled me here might still strike me down. But the grassy moss feels so soft, and warm. Perhaps a quick nap could be in order.
Her stomach growls, feeling embarrassed from it.
I haven't eaten for hours, and that fight made me much hungrier. So I need to eat something, but that damn parasite will let me…
Turn to the spring water, recall the purification properties from the dirt earlier, and she grabs her makeshift torch, thinking if she could make a campsite from this spot. It was a gamble, she uses her boomerang knives to cut up the dead rat body, then wash them down by using the spring water to purify the meat. Chopping up the bones from the parasite and washing them as well to use them for cooking logs. Dousing them in Mana Potion before lighting them up. Recall that Mana Potions are flammable liquids once exposed to flames, unusual for any other potions in the world, but magic users are a bunch of odd people.
Her time as a Haberdashery maid is coming back, cooking and cleaning but without pots or pans around, she has to be a little more creative. Using her boomerangs to create a grilling stand, or at least something like it in order to cook the meat, after she chop them up. After an hour of cooking, she carefully eats each meat. Each time a meat has fallen down onto the ground, she uses the spring water to purify it but dulls up the flavour afterwards.
Not bad. Could use some herbs and spice, but it’s much better than what I can think of. These knives are really useful, I should keep these instead of selling them. I could use these to defend myself from unwanted patrons and to use as kitchenware.
Giggling and tapping her stomach after a well earned meal. She cleans up her mess and then slowly looks up to the skies, the dawn about to come. Seeing the wall and the cave entrance above her, growling and pouting.
I should leave since I don’t want the other rats to come around to kill me, but I don’t want to climb because I barely killed the rats and the bug here!
Bopping her head, thinking on what to do next. Annoyed by her dilemma. Climb now or climb later? The open roof of the cave is not big enough for whatever lives inside the nest, but it’s big enough for somewhat large monsters that could raid this place from its treasures. If there are any treasures.
Rat Treasures are normally small chests, and only a few coins but random clothing. Perhaps the chests I raided earlier were the treasures, but doesn’t answer any of my questions on why I’m here. And how did I manage to come from her home town to Plague Town? The Haberdashery does offer teleportation travels, but you need a Magic User for the fee, and the fee isn’t cheap as well. I’m not a registered Adventurer, so Fast Travel isn’t a thing for me at all. Carriage might be my only way back home, or whatever is left of it at least, but the pay is gonna be so annoying! Whatever! I’ll figure it out once I get out of here!
Standing up, found this new determination and started walking up to the wall, looking for any potential openings for her to use her boomerang knives to pull herself up. Such a shame that these aren’t Portal Blades, or else she could have escaped here a long time ago. No climbing vines or nothing, so it’s old school climbing. Luckily for her, it’s a small reach, so even if she falls, the grassy moss will break her fall.
It was lucky until she kept falling after each attempt due to no proper footing, and each time she hit the moss, it annoys her even more. She can’t even bring the chest box up in order to sell it, since she needs an open arm to lift it up. Angrily throws her boomerang then throws it towards the wall itself, only to bounce off until she calls them back. Her arms are sore from both the fight and the climbing, using full strength to pierce each hole and to pull herself up before losing footing.
“How the hell am I supposed to get out of here if I keep losing my footing?! This is bullshit! How do Adventurers do this?!”
Sits down to see the remaining rib cage legs that she hasn’t used at all. Cut them up in case she needs them, until she remembers that the parasite can easily climb onto the walls without losing its footing unless you chop off the legs. Grinning at the idea that came to mind.
Throughout the passage of time, she grabbed the remaining rib cage legs and sharpened each blunt leg in order to pierce through each opening, carrying them on her clothing like seamstress needles into a cloth. Piercing each opening to make a makeshift wall ladder, and the bones are completely stuck into the wall itself, able to keep everything steady for her to climb up to the cave entrance. Standing up, she looks down to see Plague Town, a small village at the bottom of the hill. Now the only question for her is that she needs to find a way to get the chest up to her position.
I know I should leave the chest here, but the creed of a maid is that every coin counts. And if I need to go back home, then I need every coin possible.
Annoyingly glaring at the chest below, not knowing the time that she had spent in order to escape the cave. Looking up to the sky until it finally dawned on her.
“The hell?! It’s already night time?! It was just morning by the time I killed the damn Rib-Cage!”
The Rib-Cage, a monster she just named. Seems appropriate for her to do as there’s no real name to call the parasite monster.
Not once did she realize that she’s tired or not. She was more focused on getting out of the damn cave than eating or sleeping.
“Guess I’ll just sleep up here, but I’m not sleeping until I get that damn chest up here!”
She throws the boomerang towards the chest, missing it before calling it back, slightly tilting the chest over. An idea came to her after seeing how she moved it. Grinning and smirking at the idea. Placing both of her boomerang knives inside the chest itself then climbs up to the cave entrance.
Happily said, “Let’s see if this works?!”
Opening up her hands to activate the call. The chest is moving, the knives force it up to bring it towards her.
Yes! It works! I’m a motherfucking…
Then suddenly, she didn’t plan far ahead as the moment of the chest was about to hit her.
IDIOT!!!
The chest smacks her face, sending her out of the cave, sliding down the hill and in order and crashing through a nearby pig farm, sliding onto the slope, looking pissed as she’s looking up to the starry night as the inside contents of her vest pocket slides out.
I HATE THIS TOWN!!!
The impact from the chest had finally come through, slowly falling asleep inside the empty pig pen. Slowly drifting away, eyes blurry, nothing but silent darkness before seeing a rainbow circling the moon before finally put to sleep.
Meanwhile, the townsfolk that heard the crashing noise from the empty pig pen, the farmers and the nearby neighbours are looking at this sleeping beauty with the night sky's hair, peacefully snoring in the middle of the empty pig pen. Wondering who she is, one of the townsfolk found her contents that came with an identification of an Adventure with a name on it. Luna Black, the Little Moon Maiden.
