I Want to Fly Higher

My special ability, 'FIND,' combined with magic proved incredibly powerful in practical training. Even in flight lessons, Susie could visually perceive pools of magical wind energy and find the safest and fastest air currents.

"Susie, let's ride this wind!"

Miranda, Kevin, and their close friends flew low over the farm. Their classmates could only fly a short distance before dropping out and crashing to the ground.

"Ouch! I fell!"

"No, I can't go anymore... See you later, Susie!"

I took a leap of faith and flew outside the palace. No one followed me.

"Wow... this is amazing! Hey everyone! We can see the ocean!"

My flying magic was limited to the area around this island. It came to a complete stop there.

I sensed dolphins in the distance, at the edge of the light blue horizon.

"I want to go there someday."

I wish I could swim with the dolphins I saw at the aquarium. But that's practically impossible.

My training and focus were paying off one after another.

I've had more moments where I understand things I didn't understand before.

It can detect if they are inside the same building.

I was with Miranda the whole time, planning our strategy.

She was genuinely surprised to learn the truth, but she promised to be on our side. However, our power was still far too weak. We were wizards who couldn't even fly properly.
