Chapter 46:
The director of the magic school is the new student, Susie Liam
The vast Liam family estate is enveloped in a blanket of white snow.
Surrounded completely by snow, my home felt like the safest place in the world.
I returned to my family home in the human world with my older brother, Maxim, after a long time.
What fulfilled me the most was being able to have heartfelt conversations with my parents and brother. Perhaps the reason I felt like I was an outsider until then was because I didn't know I was a wizard.
My family listened to my stories over and over again about what life was like when I became chairperson, and how I transformed it into white magic... It was the first time they had ever listened to me like that, and I was happy.
"Susie, will you continue as chairperson?"
"Yeah... until next semester. I'll quit when I become a second-year student. Specialized courses are life-or-death, they're so busy."
"I'm here, so you can do it, right?"
"Your brother's going to have to repeat a year, right? Good luck!"
"This guy!"
For the first time in a while, I relaxed my shoulders and enjoyed a long nap on the soft carpet, hugging my beloved cat, Cheshire.
"Nyaaa"
"You must have been lonely without me, right?"
The vibrations of Munchkin cat Cheshire's purring warmed my heart.
"Ah... it's nice not to have any natural enemies..."
But it didn't last long. After three days, I grew tired of the mansion.
(Should I go out?)
