Chapter 36:
A Journey of True Love Under a Cherry Tree
**note to readers there is an intimate scene in here that I had to degrade a bit. Enjoy
It’s been an entire day since Silva and her friends left Emerald City. They passed through the main road leading to a different adventure they were not expecting to do. It seems it will help to get out of the public eye for a bit to keep Scout safe and themselves before they get caught in a different problem.
As their journey continues, Silva and her friends come across many different forests with different kinds of flower trees which means they are getting closer to their destination. What Silva loved the most is the cherry trees almost in bloom which reminded her so much of home.
“Terrance, how far are we from the village?” Silva asks.
“We should arrive there tomorrow in the afternoon. If we keep following this path, we should be there soon,” Terrance explains.
“Good, because the girls are getting tired and I do not think most of us can continue walking until dark,” Silva said, worrying about her girls.
“I think there is a place around here where we can rest, so just hold on until then,” Terrance said, reading the map.
They continue their walk through this supposedly beautiful flower forest, but none of them seem to be in a good mood. They are both tired and hungry and none of them seem concerned about the idea of continuous walking. Silva is always the alert one when it comes to bandits, but this time around she is more concerned about Scout and Julius. They have been gone far too long and she is not prepared for another friend to die for her shake.
Not long after Terrance continues guiding them through the forest, they arrive at the rest area. Lisa and the others soon collapsed onto the floor relaxing.
“Oh, god, I wish I packed a bed in this bag or a hot tub to relax my muscles,” Lisa said as she was relaxing.
Rufus after hearing this lets out a small smile and imagines Lisa in the hot tub.
“Rufus, don’t you even think about those thoughts or will kill you,” Silva warns.
“Seriously, how do you know what I am thinking?” Rufus asked.
“Duh, I did sleep with you before or you confidently forgot,” Silva answered annoyed.
“Right, I forgot, but those days sure were amazing,” Rufus said, sounding like a pervert.
“Anyways, how about you boys set up camp and make lunch while we get to relax, besides it is your turn after all,” Silva commanded.
“Fine by me,” Seth said, getting things ready.
“Yeah, we get to have a picnic,” the girls in unison.
“Girls, you can go pick some flowers, but stay where we can see you,” Silva said to her girls like a worried mother.
“Ok, mommy,” Grace said, running with her sister into the forest.
Raquel joins Silva, dismissing the girls and sitting next to her.
“You sure are great with your girls,” Raquel compliments.
“I do the best I can,” Silva modestly said.
“Ha-ha, I can see that,” Raquel teases. “How about we help with lunch?”
“No, let the boys deal with it,” Silva said walking with her.
Lord Julian
“Who does she think she is, trying to make a fool out of me?” Julian said angrily.
“She sure is brave putting a request like this into the Guild League to find these pathetic fools,” Alice slyly points out.
“Yes, well, she is not going to get away with this,” Lord Julian angrily said pacing around his office.
“Boss, what should we do? Kill her?” Kenneth asked.
“I would love to have that option, but I do need her for my plan to work. I guess I have to move up my plan ahead of schedule,” Lord Julian said.
“When would you like to leave, my lord?” Kenneth said, ready to kill.
“We will leave tomorrow. Prepare my carriage. But, before that, how is our special guest?” Lord Julian asks, evilly.
“After the many rounds of torture, he is apparently still alive. It seems he is loyal to that pest of a girl. He is not going to give her up,” Silva reports to her lord.
“My, I guess she does know how to pick men she can use,” Lord Julian thought to himself. “Bring up the feed to his cell.”
Alice pushed a few buttons on the table to pop up a screen to view Julius locked up in his cell not looking great. Julius simply sits there wondering if he will live or die here since he has nowhere to go. He was in pretty bad shape from all the torture he endured after spending so many days here. How many days have passed? He has no idea since there were no clocks or calendars to tell time. Sunlight does not appear through the window, but he does know the time of day it is since the lights turn on and off depending on the hour of the day.
Lord Julian notices this and starts to get angry.
“Hum, it seems his will is what is keeping him alive, so why don’t we destroy it,” Lord Julian notices.
“Alice, tell Kitty to begin the next round of interrogations. I believe he will be a bit more cooperative this time around,” Lord Julian ordered.
“Yes, sir,” Alice said, calling down through the coms.
“Sir, where should we be heading to for this fiancée of yours?” Kenneth asked.
“We would have to track her down the old fashion way before she reaches the capital to speak to the Guild King and our plans will be ruined,” Lora Julian explains.
“Yes, right away sir,” Kenneth said getting to work.
“Oh, Alice, make sure Kitty leaves our prisoner alive enough to use him against Silva. We are bringing him with us,” Lord Julian orders.
“Yes, sir,” Alice said, giving orders once again.
Silva
“Ah…Ah,” Silva shouted in great pain.
“Silva, are you alright,” Lisa said, helping her friend.
“It’s Julius.” Silva explained holding her chest. “I think they are torturing him again.”
“Are you sure?” Raquel asks.
“Yes. I felt this pain before, but now- it is something different,” Silva said in between breaths.
“Do you think-?” Raquel asks.
“No, I do not think he is dead, but this pain is torturous. This is Julius, for sure,” Silva said, almost catching her breath.
“What are you all talking about?” Terrance asked in a little panic.
“I am not sure if you know this Terrance, but everyone here is linked to the Guild King,” Raquel begins.
“Go on,” Terrance sounded angry.
“You see, the Guild King is connected to all of us. Whenever a person joins a guild, their life force is automatically connected to the Guild King. He will know who dies or weakens in strength, the Guild King and the others can feel it. Since Silva is the only one who can feel Julius’s pain, I believe this is linked to this secret she has which is burdening her,” Raquel explained.
“Wow, I did not know that. It must be hard being part of a guild,” Terrance said.
“Aren’t you part of a guild as well, so why do you not know this?” Rufus asked.
“No one told me,” Terrance admitted.
“Enough!” Silva screamed in pain.
Silva shouting made everyone jump. She might have scared them to the point of not wanting to talk. Greer and Grace were even scared and ran behind Raquel.
Silva is still in pain and she does not want to deal with anymore conversations.
“I am sorry I yelled at all of you, but this pain is torture. I am sorry my lovelies for scaring you like that.”
“We forgive you mommy,” Grace said, running to give her a hug.
Silva embraces the girls in a big hug like this warmth helps her ease the pain. It is a perfect moment, they do not want it to end. Everyone seems to enjoy this moment, but it was ruined by the sound Silva heard.
“What’s wrong?” Raquel asked.
“Raquel, prepare for some unwanted company,” Silva said, rushing into the woods.
“Yea..,” Raquel was about to say.
“Yeah, you sure are…,” Rufus teased.
“Terrance, get out of the way!” Silva shouted as she threw a bomb.
“What?”
“Come out or I will drag you out myself!” Silva shouted.
It seemed they did not take her threat seriously, but they came out of hiding surrounding our heroes.
“So what should we do?” Rufus asked.
“We should fight,” Silva said, standing up.
“Fine by me, let’s do this,” Terrance agreed.
Silva was the first to charge in and attack these strange people. The gang soon joins in as they are attacking from a long distance. Raquel and Lisa stayed close to Greer and Grace to protect them from any danger. It seems Silva and her friends were gaining the upper hand, but only things took a turn. Reversal of fortune took a turn when Silva started to feel the same pain as she felt before which made her feel weaker. Not having much of a choice, they decided to surrender to these strange attackers.
“I never thought all of us would be captured,” Silva said looking at everyone.
“Mommy,” Grace said, running to Silva.
“Grace, I am sorry, but please go with Auntie Raquel, you will be safer with her,” Silva said about crying.
“Come on, move along,” the guard said, pushing everyone together.
Silva and her friends were being dragged by their captors to the deepest part of the forest not knowing what was going on. It was hard to create an escape plan since the area was thick with flower trees trying to hide the scent of the village.
“I wish you did not have that pain of yours, we would be going to save our friends by now,” Lisa complained.
“This is why I never take the forest route. The people living in them are not so friendly,” Rufus said, scared.
“Enough chatting, keep moving,” the captain said, pushing them to walk.
“Relax man, we are going, no need to use force,” Rufus said as he was walking on ahead.
Soon after being rudely escorted, the captors took them through this strange gate and entered into the most beautiful and amazing village they had ever seen.
“This village is the most beautiful one I have ever visited,” Terrance said, impressed, enjoying the view.
“Why did they bring us here?” Lisa asked, still admiring the view.
“I am not sure, but you might want to ask her,” Seth said as he was pointing at a woman coming out of the hut.
“I wonder what she has to say,” Raquel said curiously.
“Hello and welcome to the Village of the Moon, my name is Karina and I am the village elder here. I am sorry in the matter you were brought here, please forgive us,” Karina said introducing herself.
“Yes, we accept your apology, but why were we brought here?” Silva asked, confused.
“I believe you were brought here because you were blessed by a goddess, correct?” Karina asked correctly.
Silva is shocked hearing this, but only answers by asking a question, “How did you know that?” Silva asked, a bit confused.
“It is because my daughter was also blessed by a goddess as well. Come, we have much to talk about,” Karina said, taking Silva with her.
“Sara, please take care of our guests.”
“Yes, grandmother, please follow me,” Sara said, escorting them across the village.
“Grandmother? She does not look over thirty,” Lisa whispered.
“Shut up Lisa,” Raquel whispered back to Lisa.
“Is there a problem?” Sara asked.
“No,” they shouted together.
“Good, please keep up with us,” Sara said, continuing to walk.
Meanwhile, Terrance joins Silva and Karina on their walk to a shrine located in a different part of the village.
“Karina, I hate to be rude, but why did you bring us all the way here?” Silva asked.
“I brought you here to tell you a story,” Karina began.
“We will listen to what you have to say. If there is anything in your story that can help Silva, then we are all ears,” Terrance agreed.
“Very well, where should I begin, 1,000 years ago, my daughter was blessed with the magic of the Moon Goddess Luna. It turns out this was all in an accident.”
“How did she get her blessing?” Silva asked.
“My daughter always had a sense of adventure, so she loves to explore the forest. One day while she was exploring the deepest part of the forest, she came across the Goddess Luna slowly dying. My daughter, as kind as she is, went over to help her,” Karina mentioned.
“But what happened to the lunar goddess?” Silva asked.
“We are not sure what caused this great goddess to die, but perhaps she was out of her world for far too long.”
“Please tell me more,” Silva said, sounding eager.
“As my daughter is trying to get closer to the Goddess Luna, she held out her hand and suddenly transferred her magic to my daughter Millianna. Then she turned into the wind and disappeared. It seems nothing was happening to her, but when she turned sixteen, she was beginning to struggle with her new gift. She was feeling sick and uncontrolled by her magic. We did not know what to do, so we traveled outside of the village and traveled to the temples to find some answers. It seems the only cure to recover her strength is to take on the trails of the temples to fully control her gifts. I will never be able to repay the kindness the priestesses had for my daughter. She was fully committed to her new gifts, but when it came to the final trial, she began to hesitate a little bit,” Karina explained.
“What happened?” Silva eagerly asked.
“It seems to fully become a goddess there is one condition the chosen ones have to fulfill,” Karina explained.
“Continue,” Silva said eager to know more.
“To become a full fledged goddess you would have to give up your humanity on your own or someone dear to you willingly gives up their humanity in order for their loved one to remain a goddess with their humanity intact. It was a tough decision for her to make because she had a loved one she cherished so much and she did not want to lose him.”
“What did she decide to do?” Silva asked.
“Being brave as she is, willingly gave up her humanity. She married her beloved and had a child with him named Sara. As a final gift before my daughter left us, she blessed us with eternal life. I do wish to see her again one day. In honor of my daughter, we have a Moon Festival celebrating her good deeds she accomplished over the years. In fact there is a celebratory dance we do to honor her. You are welcome to stay,” Karina said, full of hope.
“That is a lovely story. Thank you for sharing. Of course we would like to stay and enjoy the festival,” Terrance thanked their hostess.
“Terrance, how can you be so calm? You just found out that this village is over 1,000 years old and to be a full goddess is giving up my humanity or yours, does not seem fair,” Silva angrily said. “Unless, you knew this was going to happen.”
“Yes, I did know. I was trying to protect you.”
“I cannot believe you knew about this and never told me.”
Terrance looked down in the dumps as she continued to get angry. She could not take it anymore, so she simply walked away.
“You should go after her,” Karina said, encouraging him.
“I do not know.”
“I can tell she is in love with you and is afraid to lose you. Now go.”
Terrance taking her advice follows the path Silva took to go after her. He walked along the path seeing it was leading to a private area of the forest which was covered with cherry trees and other flowers. There he finds Silva standing there watching the petals falling to the ground. It is a beautiful sight and Silva did not notice Terrance was right behind her.
“How are you feeling?”
Silva turns and ignores him, but answers by saying, “A little calmer, but how can you hide this from me? It does not seem fair.”
“I did not want to tell you unless it was the last resort. I was hoping we could find a different solution to save you. I wanted to save you, even if….”
“If it costs you your humanity.”
“It is not fair. Why can’t we have a different way to deal with this? I cannot bear to lose you. I love you.”
“I never thought I would hear you say that.”
“I told you before that I will always love you and I never want you to leave my side.”
Terrance hearing her confession could not help himself in his actions. He grabs her and pulls her in close feeling their body heat while he kisses her. Silva does not stop him from kissing her as she enjoys his lips on hers. In the midst of the kiss, Silva unhooks his cloak while he unhooks his sword off his belt and lets it drop on the floor. Then he works on unbuttoning her coat and blouse.
Continuing to kiss her, he slowly pulls them off her coat and blouse and lets them fall on the ground. Terrance only cares to see the beauty of his beloved under the moon light and kisses her again.
Terrance continues kissing her all the way to her belly button and all she can enjoy is his kisses. Then he pushes her against the tree trunk to continue his parade of kisses. Then he slowly works his way down to her pants to unbutton them and pull them off leaving her with nothing but her panties . Down below her feet, Silva slid them off and tossed them on the ground. They continued to kiss and it was magical for the both of them.
With this amazing feeling, Silva decides to take charge. She works on removing his shirt and he helped her with that. Silva is amazed yet again about his six pack and quickly kisses each of them. Slowly bringing her hands to his pants, she quickly unzips and pulls them down. With his clothing fully removed and exposed, we want to drink the view even further. Silva continues her kissing raid by working her way up and kissing every inch of his body while his warmth was keeping her sane. She turns her face to continue kissing him until they both feel satisfied.
Terrance embraces her again to keep her warm. Silva could only smile and kiss him for the romantic movement she just had with him.
“Wow, that was unexpected,” Terrance said, staring up at Silva.
“I know, but if I have to lose my humanity to become a goddess, I want to feel love before losing it,” Silva explains.
“Does that mean there will be more of that?” Terrance asked to gather his things.
“Maybe, if you do not lie to me again,” Silva said, putting her pants on again.
“I will hold you to that.”
“And maybe we can go all the way next time?”
“Are you saying you want more than that?”
“Yes, it was so good. Ok, lover boy get dressed before anyone finds us in this situation.”
“Will do.”
Terrance and Silva quickly finished getting dressed and walked back to the village where Karina was greeting them.
“So, I take it you two made up?”
“Yes, and in more ways than one,” Silva answers looking up into Terrance’s eyes.
“I am glad you two are together again. Hold on to each other no matter what happens.”
“We will thank you,” Silva thanked her.
“Karina, was there you wanted to tell us?” Terrance asked.
“I forgot to mention tomorrow night during the Moonlight Dance there might be a chance to speak to my daughter,” Karina proposes. “Maybe it will help you with your decision.”
“I am listening,” Silva said.
“At the end of the dance, the chosen moon dancer performs a ritual dance on the base of the waterfall, and for a brief moment, the water turns into a snowy white and that is the moment you can speak to my daughter,” Karina explained.
“I would love that. Thank you,” Silva said, holding Terrance’s hand. “We should go and see our friends. See you later.”
Terrance and Silva walk away from Karina to return to their friends. It turns out they were distracted doing their own thing, but stopped when they were surprised by what they saw.
“What a sight for sore eyes,” Rufus says, seeing Silva holding Terrance’s hands.
“Oh, sorry we took so long to get back. Karina was telling us a story about her daughter and the village. Then I felt dizzy, so I sat down and Terrance was there to take care of me,” Silva said, trying to come up with some excuse.
“Really? I feel like there is more to this story,” Lisa said, taking a good look at Silva.
“So, what have you decided on?” Raquel asked.
“I think we should stay here. It will be a good chance for us to rest up before we meet up with Scout,” Silva explained to her friends.
“I think that is a good idea. I better head back to our camp and find our things. Rufus cares to join me?” Raquel offers.
“Sure, it beats sitting around here,” Rufus said, joining her. “Anyone else?”
“I can tag along,” Seth agrees.
“Me too,” Simon said.
“I’ll pass. I have been dying to sleep on the real bed,” Lisa said heading to the house.
“If there are no objections, then we will stay here for now,” Silva said, ready to sleep.
As everyone was going to do their task, they heard a noise nearby and they went to investigate.
“What in the hell is going on?” Silva shouted.
“It seems the girls were having a little too much fun dancing and by accident, they bumped into Sara. She sprained her ankle, so she will not be able to perform in the dance tomorrow night. Oh I’m Marie.”
“Ladies, you are no longer children, please start acting like proper ladies for now on,” Silva says to her daughters.
“Yes, mommy. We’re sorry” Greer and Grace said, apologizing.
“I am sorry for what my daughters did to Sara. It is nice to meet you Marie. As an apology, I will take Sara’s place in the dance. I am a fast learner,” Silva volunteered.
“Are you sure? This dance is not easy to learn in one day,” Marie said kindly.
“I don’t mind, I will do anything you throw at me,” Silva said surely.
“Sure, welcome to the show, so let’s get you fitted for your dress,” Marie said, dragging Silva along.
“Hey, slow down,” Silva said, trying to catch her footing.
“Right, since Silva is busy at the moment, we better get some sleep while the boys go with our hosts to gather our things from the forest, ok, we will talk more tomorrow,” Raquel ordered.
“Hey, I thought you were coming with us,” Rufus shouted.
“Sorry. Got to look after the girls,” Raquel replied, taking the girls inside.
Everyone went to their destination while waiting for the next day to come.
