Prologue: How the World Changed Forever

It was year 2030. People began to notice strange things happening to them: they began to emit ice from their hands, or fire, or light, or even lightning. They also noticed they could possess much greater strength than normal, or move at supernatural speeds. This made a chaotic week where people tried to deal with superpowers they didn't even know it was possible to have. Just as they were trying to understand the phenomenon, the Aurorans arrived.

Aurora is a planet of immortals: the Aurorians cannot die unless their hearts are destroyed. The aurorian civilization is a peaceful, high tech and high magic civilization that has a lot of contacts throughout the universe in order to keep peace and freedom in the galaxy. They taught humans that the "phenomenon" was actually magic, which had just arrived on Earth, after an accident where a magical object from Aurora fell on Earth and gave all humanity brand new superpowers, and they taught humans everything that needed to be taught: how to use magic, how magic works, basic aurorian language, etc.... At first, they didn't talk about planet Drani, but there came a time when it became impossible not to, after an attempt of invasion by this other planet.

Drani is a planet ruled by a centuries-old, tyrannical emperor: Autjan. They have always been enemies of Aurora, and now they want to turn Earth into their colony, increasing their trail of destruction and destroying freedom in the universe. The Aurorans soon taught the Earthlings how to defend themselves against the Drani, always offering their support but leaving Earth to defend itself, as a form of guaranteeing the planet Earth’s independence from Aurora.

A new profession emerged amidst all this: the Guardians. Guardians are like police officers, diplomats, and warriors, all combined to ensure peace. The leader of the Guardians became known as Hikwa, which means "master" in Auroran. To become a Guardian, one must graduate from the Global Guardian Academy. And to enter this school, one must pass the Global Exam.
