Scene: Lily's house. Jasmine and Lily talking.Lily: This question made Jasmine's face fall. It was hard for her to speak.Jasmine composed herself a bit and said, "I don't even understand what happened all of a sudden.""Leo had a bakery shop in New York. It was very famous. A lot of people used to come to his shop.That day at noon, I was on my way to his shop. As I got closer, I saw... two men had beaten Leo to death.""I froze. In a place where I hadn't seen blood in ages, suddenly there was blood right there. I panicked.There was a huge crowd there. I pushed through the crowd and went further inside. I couldn't believe my eyes.It was a Bishopston-like situation. The police had already arrived."Jasmine paused for a moment. Then, with a hint of anger, she said, "Out of those two men, the police only managed to catch one!"Lily shifted in her seat and asked, "But why would they attack him out of nowhere?"Jasmine: "Leo went to the pool room two days before he died. He had a fight there. Just looking at them would make your throat go dry.Jasmine thought to herself, "If I even throw one punch at them by mistake, something really bad will happen."She walked up to one of the guys there and started talking about Leo getting beaten up.The guy was sitting there playing cards withothers and didn't pay any attention to Jasmine. He was busy with the game.Jasmine snatched the cards out of his hand. That pissed him off.The guy said they hadn't had any fight with anyone yesterday. Instead, she was the one causing trouble today by picking a fight!Jasmine threatened everyone there and left.Back to the present scene.Lily: in a stunned voice, "So there were two attackers, but only one criminal? But why did you go there that afternoon?"Jasmine: "Leo called me and told me to come. He had something he needed my help with."Jasmine: "I don't know. When I got there, this is what I saw.It's just... I can't accept that Leo is dead.
