Chapter 5:

Training Arc?

Bloodborne Fire

The night sky was bright, the moon shone like a diamond, but the thing that shone the most was Jugem as he smiled while looking in the distance.

BFFFFFFFFFFFFFT

What?

"Your first task as a member is to"

It can't be

"Get me a spare pair of underwear, I won the battle but lost the war," said Jugem whilst looking in the distance.

"WHAT!"

After Jugem lost the war to his bowel movements. Haai was asleep and snoring with a stupid expression, I had to carry him to his room. I am going to share a room with him. At first, I thought it was gonna be a fish-themed room with all kinds of trinkets a fish would need, but it was just a normal room. I instantly get to work and look around every nook and cranny, I know it's here. Yes! I finally found Haai's favorite magazines. He is a young man after all. I proceed to pass out after laying down on the bed. What an eventful day I am now an official thief

I wake up and hear a loud noise from the washroom. I walk out of the room to check it out. Oh crap, it's gonna be Haai spilling his guts out, he did drink a lot yesterday, I better help him out. Crap? it literally was crap Haai was sitting all seriously staring at me while proceeding to empty his guts from the bottom side.

"Oi, partner. I wanted to ask, is this bloodborne fire or toiletborne poop. Stop talking about crap!" said Haai

"Huh! I can talk about whatever I want, and I want to talk about poop!" I said

"So are you gonna pass me the Toilet paper, or are you just here to watch me poop,"

"Oh yeah, my bad- Shut the hell up like I would like to watch a slimy fish poop," I exclaim while throwing the toilet paper on his face.

"OW!"

I run out as I close the door behind me. Can't believe that just happened.

Haai finish's his business and we start getting ready. A new set of clothes would be nice.

"Here," said Haai while passing me a change of clothes.

"Oh, it smells like the ocean."

"Ha? all of these are washed!"

"I was kidding, thanks Haai."

"Uh yeah, no problem."

A very awkward morning later we decided to head to the dining hall again for breakfast. I didn't get to explore this place yesterday, the houses mounted on the large trees and wooden platforms which lead from one place to another. I wonder how long it took to build it.

"Good morning, Ruri. Good morning, Haai," said Suzie.

"You boys want to have a drink before breakfast?" asked Lisa.

"No thanks, I have a hole in my body," I reply to Lisa.

We all sit down at the table and have breakfast. Shortly after our meals, Jugem told me that I was to go under training for a few days under all four members of the combat team for teamwork purposes. I think he also did this so I would understand the working of this nation since I have no memories of my past.

"So who am I working with first?" I ask Jugem.

"Hmm, you need someone experienced since it's your first mission. Jiraiya how about you go with Ruri for his first mission, and teach him the ropes? is that alright with you?" Jugem asks Jiraiya.

"Yes sir, no problem." Jiraiya delivers a swift reply.

He is extremely respectful towards Jugem.

"Alright, Ruri and Jiraiya will be working together for a few days. Everyone else with carrying on with their duties as usual." Jugem announced to everyone in the hall.

"Good luck on your first mission Ruri," said Suzie.

"Don't frighten the shy boy Ruri," Said Haai.

FWOOOOOSH

A sword flies towards Haai and pierces the chair next to his face.

"Sorry," Said Haai.

"Ruri, take this," Said Jiraiya whilst tossing me a sword.

"Meet me after 2 hours at the exit gates." Said Jiraiya

"Yes," I reply

I was a bit skeptical at first but sticking with them feels like the right option right now!
