Chapter 29:

Shopping Cut Short

While Having Cheats And Bonus In My New Life At Fantasy World, As A Closet Otaku, I Will Be Living The Way I Want

Me, Maeryn, Noelle, and Cara, with the rest of the girls who formed groups and separated from us, today, were at Northeastern Shopping District of Alto to buy souvenirs for my folks at Skyspring.

“Darling,” volunteered Maeryn, who had her hair dyed to brown in courtesy of null spell and disguised like Cara and Yuna to match our current age. “I know a shop where we can go buy souvenirs.”

“Okay.” I spoke. “Please lead us to that location, Clara.”

Maeryn/Clara smiled and nodded.

Following her, we had gone through numerous establishments and houses that were packed with people.

Having an awareness of the Angevinian building code thanks to Lyonel and his reforms, these things were fireproof and earthquake proof.

One of the shops we passed by, was one of the shops I saw when I took a small walk during the day of Leen’s registration at the Adventurer Guild. There’s also one of the shops I passed through when I chased down and sniped an adventurer for stealing panties that same day.

Weapon shops, specialty shops, guild-affiliated shops, many bunch. I could even see a red-light district and the establishments there far away.

There’s also a fountain plaza too, the one near Ashylyn’s Bakery, where I sat at.

Stopping, we finally arrived at the shop called Reverie’s Souvenir Shop.

“Reverie’s?” said Noelle. “The quest client mentioned about his company distributing their products. They’re good stuff.”

“Same.” Added Cara. “Lately, I heard there’s been a backlog and shipping delays of the shop’s products.”

“That sounds sus.” I commented with slight serious edge present in my voice. “I better hope we have something to buy here.”

“Right. Or we can ask the owner.”

We agreed with Maeryn.

Entering, we were greeted by a sight of elven girl employee around my age and a bell ringing. Her hair had a different pale shade of blue, pattens blue. The color of her eyes was, if I’m right, were light azure.

Those light azure eyes of her’s, they were beautiful to look at.

Again, we’re here to buy souvenirs. I needed to buy gifts for my family and folks at Skyspring.

“Welcome to- MANNY-NII!!!”

Noticing our presence and the bell ring, the elven girl employee dashed and hugged me tight, surprising us.

“I’m glad I found you at last…. Please don’t leave us again.”

“If you say so…but may I know who you are?”

“Aiko Sandoval.”

Looking at her eyes and body language for confirmation, I smiled and hugged her back. “There, there, Aiko, your big brother will not leave you again. I promise.”

“Thank you, nii-sama.”

“You’re welcome, Aiko.”

“Please no Aiko but Alice, Alice Swordhaven.”

Smiling, I gave her a headpat. “Alright, Alice. Call me Caesar now.”

“Okay, nii-sama…. Caesar…. since we are not blood-related anymore, perhaps you’ll look at me differently now?”

“Maybe? They say it’s okay when not blood-related.” I teased her, my former youngest lovely sister who was now reincarnated as elf.

Alice blushed. “Nii-sama…”

“EHEM!”

An amused cough from Noelle startled us as Alice released me from our reunion and hug with her face blushing brightly.

“I’m s-sorry for my unprofessionalism in my part-time job!” apologized Alice. “I got caught up in seeing onii-sama!”

Looking at Noelle, I could tell she, Maeryn, and Cara had a knowing smile.

“It’s fine, Alice.” said Noelle. “We’re here something to buy the items he listed.”

Taking out the list from her ring, Noelle gave it to Alice who then started reading them.

“We have them. This one, we don’t have due to shipping delays.” said Alice, giving back the list as she faces me. “I’m very sorry, Caesar.”

“It’s okay, Alice.” I spoke. “It confirmed the rumors we heard lately.”

“Indeed, Alice came here with my quest.” a male voice came. “Right, my name is Reverie. I’m the owner. I’ll tell you know what I know.”
