Day of New Year Pt. 2

“Goshujin-sama,” said Sasame who together with the Maid Trio, stood by my right side to watch the fireworks at one of the aisles in my bedroom. “It’s a very big honor for us, your servants, to invite us watch the fireworks together with young mistresses. We will not forget this.”

“Same.” added Rhea with her smile. “We’re very touched from your kind gesture.”

“But, it’s our kind-hearted Goshujin-sama being Goshujin-sama.” completed Alessia. “Goshujin-sama inspires us to become better everyday even when separated. I…. we are glad to be your personal maids, sire. We’re very grateful serving Goshujin-sama in our lives.”

The way the Maid Trio smiled and thanking me, I smiled. “You’re pretty welcome, my lovely maids. When I was away from Alto, I always told myself to be stronger and better version of my previous self. I think of my lovers, my family, Skyspring, and all of you here. I love to see things much okay when I was a defenseless infant. I thank you, my lovely personal maids and Sasame, for everything this year and part of my life. Once more, for this new year, I ask you three, my lovely maids, to approach me for your problems or matter because I am ready to listen and help you. This is not your Goshujin-sama’s order but a concern and care to your being.”

“Okay, Young Master. We will.” said Rhea. “Pardon us, Goshujin-sama, if it’s okay, we would like to give you something.”

I raised my eyebrow. “What is it?”

“A wine for us to drink together exclusively to celebrate.”

‘Eh? Wine? This is no good if that were to be my former world but since it’s here, it’s different.’ “Alright. But were these served to my girls? Answer me.”

“Not at all, Goshujin-sama.” answered Alessia. “Madam will not allow anything bad to happen young mistresses and yourself. It’s only for you, Goshujin-sama.”

Staring at Sasame and Alessia who were setting up the drink, I gave them my consent. “Alright. For celebratory purposes and to start off New Year before we go to sleep.”

“Thank you for accepting our awkward request, Young Master.” thanked Sasame who now gave me a glass. “We thought you would reject it since it’s you’re not used to the customs of this world because it’s different. We apologize for almost offending you.”

“It’s alright, Reiko.” I clarified to Sasame/Reiko. “I’m getting to used to it because I discovered things lately when I was in Alto creating items. I hate those things.”

“So do we, Young Master. We knew them through the list Cara-sama gave to us.”

“Thank you, Sasame. Let us 4, drink: For Better Results And Days!”

The Maid Trio, smiling back, raised their glasses.
