Chapter 9:

Dubstep Deathmatch Part 5

Schrodinger's Cat

I open my eyes and I'm in the back seat of a car I try to move my arms quickly but nothing and I fall over. I start to hear humming.

"Oh, Pierre you're awake! Great just in time we're almost to my house, we have a lot of catching up to do!"

"Where the hell are we? Why I am I tied up? What the fuck did you do to my friends?!"

"Calm down! I can't answer so much at once, ok? Now breathe in~ hold!... and now breathe out~"

"Wow thanks that helped me so fucking much!"

"I know right? That always gets me through my tough times. Glad it works for you too!"

I bang my head on the floor.

"Oh, Pierre don't do that! It's going to hurt you! That reminds me of that time you tripped over a rock because you were trying to spin like a helicopter. That was nice, wasn't it? I miss spending time with you do know that right:"

"You're insane let me out of here and tell me what happened to the others!"

"Oh them? They're fine! They'll wake up whenever just like the rest of the city."

"...Just like the rest of the city?"

She starts to cry

"Pierre, I miss everything! I miss your old house, I miss playing games with you, I miss being your friend! Now we're just two strangers in a car but one of us is tied up..."

At this point I gave up on yelling because it just seemed to be doing me more harm than good. She stopped crying immediately when I stopped talking.

"I'm not sure why you're quiet all of a sudden as much as you have been bitching about everything you've had given to you so far."

"Fuck. You."

"So, what movies have you seen recently? I've been meaning to watch the new paws that came out last week, but I was too busy sniffing your bedsheets to remind me of the good times."

As she said that last part a smirk came on her face. I had a disgusted look on my face just wishing for this to be over. And then right after, I said that the car stopped.

"Alright let's get you out of this car!"

She gets out of the car, and I start to wiggle around as she walks away, I struggle more and more. She comes back to the car with a wheelbarrow and picks me up with ease and slaps tape over my mouth.

"Now, Now I can't have you yapping you might disturb the neighbors."

As she put me in the wheelbarrow I finally see where I am. It looks like a normal neighborhood with people doing gardening, sitting outside their house, mowing the lawn and other exciting tasks. All the houses are two story with stairs leading to the entrances or just a hill. The color of them varied from blue, green, white, to purple. None of them seem to mind me being pushed around. I would scream for help, but I rather not waste my breath more than I already had. We get up right next to the door and an explosion is heard the door blasts open and a girl flies out. Falls to the ground with some type of drink in her hand.

“Wooooooooooo! Another win for Eva! ~”

She holds the drink up and it slips out of her hand and hits her on the head knocking her out. Reina sighs, puts me next to a tree and picks up this girl.

“Lovely! Now I have one drunk and one tied up!”

She mumbles to herself as she drags the girl back in the house and then brings me in too. The interior of the house looked terrifyingly normal. There were no weapons, blood, bones, traps to teach people to appreciate their lives. There was, however, what seemed to be a device of sorts although part of it was blown to bits with even little bits of smoke still coming off of it. Without realizing it, she had plopped me onto her couch. I try to wiggle but it’s no use. I give up… again I think to myself if she really wanted to kill me, she could’ve done it too many times to count. But she hasn’t so I decided to sit and wait to see what she wants to do with me. Whatever it might be, I’m sure it won’t be good.

“Give me a moment I gotta do something very important, then we can start our date!” She says this with such excitement.

“What?! Date!?” I start to wonder why she kidnapped me to have a date with me. I guess she realizes how insane she is. She comes back in and sits down. She closes to me and I shiver barely being able to move. She turns on the TV.

“Let’s watch romance movies for the rest of the night!”

The color from my face drains. I feel all the little hope leaving my body to give it to someone who isn’t going to die. My soul tries to escape but her stare alone scares it back into its body. A small whimper comes out of my mouth and a tear rolls down my eye.

“Please… Anything but that.”

“Meh, everything else seems pretty boring.”

She plays the first movie. And then the first becomes the second and the second becomes the third and the third becomes the fourth. It never seems to end. I rather be tortured than trying to be entertained like this hellish genre is trying to.
