Chapter 3: The Confession Part 1

\Kazami's POV/

~School Bell Rings~

The school day is now over.

As the school day is now over, the confession phase has now come.

I put my things back in my bag and I got ready to go to the rooftop where I will confess my love to Amane-san.

Before I leave the room, I glanced over at Amane-san at her seat.

— It looks like she is now preparing to leave.

If that so, I should head at the rooftop now.

And so, I walk towards the rooftop and wait for Amane-san to arrive and of course, before she arrives, I should at least check my appearance first as I don't want to be dump because I'm not good looking.

As I finished checking my appearance, I looked up at the sky. The sky that looked orange because of the sunset. 

“This is great, an orange sky with sunset, huh?”

It really looked beautiful that it makes me calm.

~Rooftop Door Opens~

As the rooftop door opens, the girl I admired arrives.

(Okay. Take a deep breath, me.)

As I told myself, I took a deep breath and takes out a big sigh.

“You are the one who gave me this letter, right?”

As she said that, she hold out the love letter a gave her and I answered.

“Yes, I am.”

“If so, what it is you want to tell me?

“I...”

I'm really scared right now as she asks me that coldly... But I told myself to calm down and do what Kazuki said.

(But wait a minute... Is she blushing?)

As I stared at her face, I saw her face red as the strawberries and I don't know what going on but I decided to continue what I will be saying.

“Shiro Amane, I like you, so please go out with me!”

“...”

(Oh no, this is bad, she isn't responding...)

Well, this is to be expected, I am also sure I'm going to get rejected coldly as the others experienced.

“If so... W-what is it that makes you l-like me?”

...

That's unexpected and I don't know why she said that... But still, it's the confession is still not done so I answered.

“Umm... You are cute, beautiful, talented, smart... And umm... I know that I don't know you at all but if you gave me the chance to go out with you, I'd like to know you better.”

(Why did I said that?!!! It looks like I forced her to go out with me... This is bad, really really bad. But still, her face looks red, it is an unusual face than the known "Winter Princess" but well, nevermind.)

As I said that, I scratched my right cheeks as I was embarrassed to say that to her and also I regret to say those things to her.

As the atmosphere around us is becoming more intense, I started to talk.

“So, what is your answer, Amane-san?”

“...”

(Why did I ask her that... I'm sure I'm going to get rejected though...)

I know that there's no way she would go out with an unpopular guy like me but I still did it because I want her to know my feelings about her and how I liked her so much.

(She still not responding, huh?)

I was being nervous as she isn't responding.

“Umm, I guess so, I know you won't go out with me, hehe... So please, just forget th-...”

As I was about to say that, she responds.

“Okay, I'll go out with you, so please take care of me from now on.”

“Pardon...?”

“I said, I'll go out with you.”

(Eh? Ehhhhh?!!!!!!! What's happening?!!)
