Weekend

Weekends come quickly when you are bored with the school lessons you have studied and understood first in your previous life. Other than my fun time with Sakura and Shinomiya at school, the rest just monotony.

And here I am, sitting casually on the sofa, reading a book accompanied with Kazuto, my former self who is watching TV accompanied by the cake and snacks I made.

"Misaki, can you stop reading books, and watch TV with me?"

"Hmm?"

Looking at Kazuto, his eyes looked bored as they looked at me.

"If Onii-chan is that bored why not just call Endou here and play with him."

I replied when I went back to reading the book.

"Come on. If he comes he'll just be a nuisance between us."

I imagined Endou to be a fly and flying around us to interrupt our fun playing together when Kazuto said it. It made me laugh at the thought of Endou being patted by him too.

"What made you laugh?"

Kazuto had a confused face when I suddenly laughed.

"Hahaha, just imagining something."

Ahh, I can't focus on reading anymore.

If so, let's take a break. Thought I when closed the book.

"Alright, my dear Onii-chan. But let's do something more fun like playing games, it'll be boring if just watching a TV."

In the past, usually on weekends I would just sit and spend time reading a book after fulfilling all of Misaki's requests. By the way, I can read some books in less than a minute if they are only a few hundred or a few thousand pages and I can finish them in less than a day. Finishing a few books is not a problem. I'm not sure anyone other than myself is capable of such an inhuman thing, but I feel blessed with that ability because I have a thirst for reading.

With my life changing as Misaki, now I'm starting to reduce my reading time and choose to play with Kazuto to continue my duty as the 'ideal sister' and make him happy so he's not like I used to be.

"Shall we play cards?"

"Not enough people, rejected."

I replied when I crossed my arms.

"It would be better if we just play the game with our Console."

I said while I pointed at the gaming device on the TV rack.

"That's right, I never thought about it."

"That's because Onii-chan is too stupid."

With that, we decided to play the game.
First, we played a racing game that combines weapons and characters to choose from to overwhelm opponents to the finish. And I lost to Kazuto several times. He kept stealing the starting line and I wasn't very good at it until his chances of winning were higher.

"Ahahaha, that's ticklish! Stop, hahahaha! Please! Hahahaha!"

And the loser must be tickled.

"That's to call your own brother stupid."

Kazuto also laughed at my misery as he continued to tickle me. I wanted to reply but couldn't because my body was very sensitive and could only squirm as the tickle spread throughout my body. Sometimes I can see him have a blushing face when he tickles me.

And I really can't stand the tickling feeling!

"Press the buttons together, Onii-chan."

"Understood."

After we got a little bored, we switched the game by playing a Platform type game filled with puzzles to solve. The further the story goes, the more difficult the puzzles will be. This game requires cooperation between 2 players and good timing as well. Even though it's a bit brain-draining, this game still feels fun, Kazuto and I struggled to find every clue that was left and drained our brains, but we managed to finish it to the end in 2 hours.

"The game that Endou brought was quite exciting."

By the way, this game we are playing belongs to Endou.

We rarely buy new games and sometimes Endou lends him DVDs of games he finished or doesn't play anymore. The reduction in expenses was great for us thanks to him.

"Onii-chan is blessed with a good friend, isn't it?"

I said while smiling.

Kazuto only replied by pinching my nose which made it hard for me to breathe. He didn't want to admit it, you dishonest person.

"Okay fine, I'm sorry for that. How about we go out to rest, staying indoors is a bit boring too."

He said while stroking my head. Due to the gentle feeling I received from my head, I subconsciously nodded. Even though I have no problem staying indoors just reading a book. But since I have agreed, then we are getting ready to go out. Breathing fresh air isn't bad either.

When I finished getting ready and went out, I saw Kazuto was waiting in front of the exit. He was very well dressed. Wearing long black pants that match his hair and eyes, and a white and blue striped t-shirt, and wearing a black cropped sleeveless hoodie made him look more fashionable. I can't believe that I can be handsome in that outfit. Hey, can I go back to my old body?

I couldn't help but look enviously at Kazuto's appearance.

Knowing I was descending the stairs and approaching him, he immediately looked at me expectantly, but soon disappointed.

"I've always expected you to be feminine as a girl, Misaki. Our parents did too. At least wear girls' clothes once in a while."

He said in a disappointed tone.

"Yeah, yeah alright, I see. Now let's go out. Besides, even if you don't look feminine you still look beautiful in that outfit."

He said with a smile. There was no trace of disappointment like before.

The clothes I'm wearing are blue jeans, and a plain white t-shirt, with a long-sleeved brown shirt that is unbuttoned in a plaid line, as well as a Sailor hat which is the same pattern as my shirt. I'm not sure if this suits me or not, and I don't really care about how bad I look or not.

Kazuto stopped arguing quickly and we walked outside.

While still in the residential area, we greeted Himiko's grandmother who was relaxing in a rocking chair on her terrace.

Then after that, we took the bus to the city.

"No need to be afraid, Misaki. They won't bite you."

Kazuto said while trying to get me out of hiding (behind him to be precise).

I mean, what the hell! My body feels goosebumps when people are watching me! This has happened since I became Misaki. Indeed I had trouble communicating with people long before that, and it was too terrible for them to direct attention to me. I thought that things had gotten a little better since meeting Sakura and Shinomiya, as well as the rest of the class, but it wasn't!

I could only curl up behind Kazuto like a small animal while staying on the bus.

"Mom, can I take this sister with me?"

A child asks his mother while pointing at me.

Kazuto replied while laughing.

I couldn't help but cower as Kazuto made fun of me.

I secretly planned my revenge on him.

I get off the bus and feeling relieved. Too many people there, and also cramped which made me feel very uncomfortable.

"Want to rest for a bit?"

I looked at Kazuto who looked concerned when he saw me. There was no sign of wanting to seduce me from him.

"No need, it's not time for lunch yet. So we'll do it later."

I replied as I patted my cheek to cheer up.

Kazuto didn't say much and nodded in agreement.

"Okay."

"-So, where are we going?"

Why even ask me?

"Onii-chan asked me out, so you should be the one leading me."

I complained to him.

I wonder how he's going to take a girl on a date and have her lead him who's a guy when that's his job. He would never get a girlfriend then. I became worried about his bleak future.

"Hmm, fine. Then let's go to the clothing store, I heard there are some trendy designs for teenage girls—"

"All right! All right! Follow me!"

That way, Kazuto forcefully delegated the task to me because he knew that I didn't like wearing women's clothes. Even if I agreed to go with him there, he would still be happy about it. What a sly.

But I'm also confused about where to go.

The first place we visited was a park on the outskirts of town. It is spring, and it is time for flowers to start blooming. Although I must say that not many types of flowers are planted in this park, you can see tulips, suisen flowers, and cherry blossoms still blooming here.

I said with admiration.

I rarely enjoyed the beauty of nature in my previous life because I was too busy taking care of Misaki. And in this life, I pretty much know that the world holds a lot of things that will amaze you, which are very much different from just reading a book.

Sitting under a shady tree, we enjoyed the breeze and the view of the beautiful flowers there.

Kazuto laughed mockingly then pinched my nose.

I feel annoyed when I saw my nose turning red again.

"Then why does Onii-chan keep wearing that thing when you know I'll make you angry with it?"

I asked him.

“Well, this is something my sister made, so it would be a waste not to use it. Even if the plot goes according to your plan, I'll still happily use it.”

I wanted to be angry but seeing him really like it made my emotions slowly calm down.
He... this is unfair.

It seemed that my worries about him not getting a girlfriend seemed pointless.

"And you're stupid enough to think that there will be officers at this hour. They only come in the afternoon or evening on Sundays."

Forget what I was thinking just now. I don't like being called stupid and I unknowingly hit his chin, and he couldn't react because I was sleeping on his thigh. That's what you get.
