The Doctor's Final Curtain (2/3)

"Wait what do you mean the remaining four? What does that mean?!" The figure didn't have enough time to explain as Purgists(dark soldiers whose blood is manipulated into obedience to whoever implanted a chip in their brains) barged in and started shooting at Erika and the figure, "not these morons again!!" Erika shot down the first three but more were coming and they weren't stopping, "follow me, we can take this route to the top!!" Erika and the figure ran as fast as they could to the elevator while the Purgists were dying one by one thanks to Erika. They were unfortunate to lose the elevator since now they had to make their way to the top on foot, "HOW MANY ARE THERE?!!" The figure then activated an emergency button which made the Purgist scream in agony as they felt like something recruiting from their brains, Erika had no sympathy for them and she and the figure made it to the top.

"Take this and make your way to the Riverside, that's where a man named Shiva will be waiting for you, I'll meet you there as soon as I can." The stranger threw Erika off the edge and into a garbage bin, she got out and came across a poster with her face. It said that she had gone missing 9 months ago, she looked at her stopwatch and realised that it has been exactly nine months. She looked around and saw that the streets were filled with homeless people, she approached one of them and asked what happened, "after you went missing... The mob boss demanded we all find you and even threatened to raise our debts if we didn't find you, most of us lost our jobs and our families because of him... Because of you... I've told you everything... Now go away."

But I'm here... Don't you..." The homeless man stopped her and told her, "don't you get it? You're a parasite... From day one you were a parasite and you are also the root cause of our lives ruined... I've lost all faith in getting my happiness back (sobs) just go... And never return." Erika couldn't believe what she was hearing, she was the reason why they are like this and they didn't seem to care about getting their lives back, Erika walked away leaving the homeless man to cry, she walked the streets and saw how the mob were searching for her and how they were brutally assaulting the people, Erika's eyes started to open and she decided to do something about it, Erika made her way to the mob crew and she instantly attacked them all, leaving none to speak.

She made her way to the mob boss's home, as she eliminated the mob, only the mob boss and his guards were left. "Erika... It's... (Erika choking him) GUARD... GUARD... GUAR..." Erika had knocked him unconscious, the guards attacked Erika. They fought but with the combined force, they were all able to defeat Erika, she was brutally wounded, and the guards laughed as they pulled out a rather familiar blade... "Recognise these? Yeah we found these blades from some of the survivors that Rid had locked up Moujy Prison in 'Mejar' and it will be a waste if we didn't test these out properly... So what better than an Arkomanan doctor... Oh yes, Erika... We know who you are... It would be a shame if others knew of this." As they were about to deal with the killing blow, the world around Erika froze, "what the... Where am I." The world around Erika started to glow brightly with white.

"We have been watching you... You have neglected the past for so long... That you never had the chance to be you for once... The order we created... We never intended it to be as it was 5 years ago... The reason why we created it... Was to find the new chosen four who will help build and guide our only descendant to the path of balance... That is where you come in Erika... Your kind heart had known no bounds... But the destruction of the order destroyed that kindness... To that, we offer you the first secret of the Fallen." One approached Erika, it allowed Erika to touch it and as she did, her eyes glowed bright cyan as If there was something that she was seeing that neither the order nor anyone else had known about, Erika gasped for air and realised. "You are the guardians... That protects the creator of the planets... The creator of us."

"That is correct, and she was the one that offered us life... She offered all of you... To ensure that her brother lived on... In the stars." Erika started to experience something that she didn't feel before in a long time, "I've... Felt this... Before... Before the creation... What am I?" One of the guardians stepped back and told her, "you are Erika Astria Bellatrix... And your mission from us... Is to find the chosen one... You as well as the others must reunite and help in its journey." The guardians started to fade away until Erika found herself back where she was. As the guard attacked her, she destroyed their blades... It scared them deeply that they scurried away, Erika approached the mob boss and threw him out of his house. He stood up to find the homeless circling around him, they all took their chance and they brutally tortured him as he did to them.
