Chapter 3:
Unfair arrest
Bob: (Angrily) Hey! Why are you arresting me?
Officer: You know why.
Bob: (Shocked) WHAT?!
Officer: Don’t lie, we will interrogate you when we get to the station.
Bob: I told you! You’ve got the wrong person!
Officer: Save your words for the interrogation.
Bob was then pushed into a police car. They drove from landmark 81 to a nearby police station.
When Bob arrived he was pushed into a cell.
Bob: (Angrily and worrily) Let me make a phone call.
Officer: Make it quick.
The officer gave him a phone. Bob dialed his wife’s phone number.
Cory: Hello?
Bob: Cory!
Cory: Bob! What is it?
Bob: I just got arrested.
Cory: (Shocked) WHAT?!
Bob: An officer arrested me for no reason.
Cory: (Worrily) It’s okay dear, if he arrests you for no reason, you’ll be out of there in no time.
Bob: What abou Eva and Ava?
Cory: They are fine, but they are very hungry. (Sobbing) Why did I let you go?
Bob: It’s not your fault.
Cory: (Sadly) Maybe…
Bob: Take care of yourself and the kids.
Cory: Okay. (Excitedly) Wait, I might be able to contact Joe and Boe! They told us they are going to landmark 81 this evening as well!
Joe and Boe were Bob’s childhood friends, which they kept in touch with to this day.
Bob: Great idea!
Cory: I’ll call you right back.
Bob: Bye, love you.
Cory: Love you.
Bob returned the phone to the officer.
Officer: Took you long enough.
Five minutes later, the Officer’s phone rang.
Officer: It’s for you.
He handed the phone to Bob.
Bob: Cory?
Cory: (Excitedly) Bob, I got in contact with Joe and Boe. They saw the entire scene. They were conveniently in the store. They are on their way to the station.
Bob: Okay, thank you! Love you.
Cory: Love you.
Bob handed the phone back to the Officer once again.
15 minutes later, Joe and Boe entered the station looking for Bob.
