The Trial of The Just

Soichiro and the Merciful dash towards each other and Soichiro attempts to hit the Merciful with the top of his shield but she jumps over the shield. Soichiro throws the shield at the Merciful but she dodges it and the shield gets stuck in a wall. Soichiro then warps to the shield and sweeps the Merciful off her feet. As the Merciful falls she throws her shield at a wall but Soichiro doesn't notice. Soichiro pulls out his shield from the wall and puts his foot on the Merciful’s stomach. “Looks like I won.” Soichiro said. “So you think.” The Merciful said. The Merciful warped to her shield and pulled it out of the wall. “You're more strategic than I thought.” Soichiro said. Soichiro and the Merciful dash towards each other and their shields collide. “Wait, what if I use ordinal call?” Soichiro thought. Soichiro dashes back, jumps in the air and yells “Ordinal Call: ENHANCE ARMAMENT!!!” Soichiro slams the shield into the ground and nothing happens. The Merciful bursts out laughing and says “Did you really think that was gonna work? Ordinal call skills only work once you absorb my regalia.” Soichiro pulls his shield out of the ground and runs towards the Merciful. The Merciful jumps up and Soichiro slides on the ground and throws his shield at her. The Merciful falls to the ground and Soichiro puts away his shield and picks up the Merciful’s shield. Soichiro puts the bottom of the shield over the Merciful. “Soichiro, please don’t do it.” The Merciful begged. Soichiro puts the shield over his head and slams it but he stops right when it was about to hit the Merciful. The Merciful gasped and said “Soichiro, why didn’t you kill me?” “I didn’t kill you because that is not what you or your regalia stands for. You stand for sparing lives and showing mercy to people that deserve it and enemies.” Soichiro stated. Soichiro tosses the shield and helps the Merciful get up. The Merciful picks up the shield and kneels with it in both hands. Soichiro puts his hand over the shield and absorbs it until it was gone. As the Merciful fades away she says “You are a good man Soichiro. I know for a fact that Eos is safe in your hands.”
