One Knight Short

2 Months Later

Soichiro’s untimely departure struck the group hard. Chozen ended up becoming hellbent on training Leo to be as good as Soichiro. Leo believes that Soichiro will come back to the group. Suki became rageful and bitter towards everyone. Since Soichiro was gone they decided to stop looking for the regalia and began to destroy Nighteye bases. The trio were journeying and suddenly a bullet almost hits Leo. “Where did it come from?” Suki asked. “The trees.” Leo said. Suki summoned her dragon spear and threw it into the trees. Suki warped to the spear and found a Nighteye sniper. “There you are.” Suki said under her breath. Suki throws her spear at the Nighteye going into his shoulder. Suki warps to the spear and stabs the Nighteye’s arms and legs. She then continuously punches the Nighteye’s face and even though it’s bloody she has no intention of stopping. Leo then throws his dagger at Suki, warps to it and pulls her arm back. “The fuck are you doing?” Suki asked. “He’s had enough.” Leo said. “Had enough? Soichiro would’ve killed him by now.” Suki said. “But Soichiro wouldn’t have stabbed him in the arms and legs and kept on punching him until he was satisfied. He would’ve gotten info then cut the Nighteye’s head off, ending the pain quickly.” Leo stated. Suki lets go of the Nighteye and Leo sits him up and puts a dagger to his throat. “The bases, where are they?” Leo asked. “Just kill me and end my suffering.” The Nighteye said faintly. Leo presses the dagger and says “ Tell me where the goddamn bases are or my friend here will make hell look like paradise.” “ALRIGHT ALRIGHT!!! The bases are in Fortuna. It's a few miles west of here.” “Thank you.” Leo said. Leo then slits the Nighteye's throat, instantly killing him. “I could’ve killed him.” Suki said. “Now you shut the hell up. You almost killed him before we could get any info.” Leo said. Suki scoffs and the two return to Chozen. “Did you find out anything or did Suki kill him before he could even breathe?” Chozen asked. “Oh go fuck yourself Chozen.” Suki replied. “Suki just shut up. Luckily I managed to stop her and I found out there’s a base a few miles west.” Leo said. “Good. Now let’s go.” Chozen said.

A Few Hours Later

After traveling to the base the trio split up in the trees to do some recon. “Chozen what’s the sniper count?” Leo asks. “Four. There’s two on the roof and two on the sides.” Chozen answers. “Suki, how many do you count inside?” Leo asks. “Around thirty.” Suki answers. “Four outside and 30 inside. Suki takes out the snipers on the top with your kunai knives and the trident and Chozen use your white arrow to take out the snipers on the side.” Leo instructed. Suki throws her dragon spear above the roof, warps to it, and throws her kunai through the sniper's head. Chozen flies to a sniper and shoots him with a white arrow. Chozen then flies to the other sniper and shoots him with the arrow. “What now Leo?” Chozen asks. “Wait for my signal then attack everyone inside.” Leo answers. Leo goes to the garage door, knocks on it, and goes to the roof. The door opens and a Nighteye walks out of it looking for someone. Leo jumps onto the Nighteye and snaps his neck. “NOW!!!” Leo shouts. Suki and Chozen appear. “FIGHTING POSITIONS!!!” The Commander instructed. Suki summons her dragon spear and the trident of the oracle, and Chozen summons his katana. The commander puts his hand out and everyone runs towards the trio. Chozen dashes towards the Nighteyes, begins to spin and he cuts off the heads of 10 Nighteyes. Leo slaps his palms together, puts his hands on the ground and says “Earth Style: Shockwave." A shock wave knocks down some of the Nighteyes while others dodge it. The trident of the oracle begins to ignite fire at its tips then Suki jumps into the air and yells “FLAMING ARROWS!!!” As Suki points the trident at the knocked down Nighteyes and arrows made of fire come out of each tip burning the Nighteyes to death. As the last of the Nighteyes gather around Suki and Leo, Leo slaps his palms together and says "Wind Style: Barrier." Gusts of wind begin to circle each Nighteye. Suki then points the trident up in the air and yells “FLAMING THUNDERSTORM!!!” Orange lightning hits the wind around each Nighteye burning them to a crisp. Suki throws her dragon spear at the commander’s shoulder and warps to it. Suki pulls out the spear, cuts off the commander’s hands and feet and continuously punches him in the face. Leo throws a dagger at Suki, warps to it, and grabs her arm. “That’s enough. Let me talk to him.” Leo said. Suki steps away and Leo questions the commander. “Where’s the other bases?” Leo asked. “Go, fuck, yourself.” The commander said tiredly. Leo summons a dagger, puts it on the commander’s throat and says “Do I look like White Knight? Where, are, the bases?” “Fine. The locations of the Fortuna bases are in the office.” The commander said scared. “Chozen you know what to do.” Leo said. Chozen checks the office and he finds a map pinned to the wall with the locations of other bases. Chozen returns to Leo and shows him the map. “This better be the real map.” Leo said. Leo then cuts the commander’s throat, killing him.

Campsite

The trio leaves the base and sets up camp. “Got a plan about this map Leo?” Chozen asked. “Yea. My plan is to find and destroy these bases and try to find out any information about the shinigami king’s lair.” Leo explained. “What about Soichiro?” Chozen asked. “Fuck Soichiro. He left us.” Suki said. “He left us because he was under pressure of not knowing what to do.” Leo said. “So you’re I’m to blame for Soichiro leaving?” Suki asked. Leo stands up and says “What if I am? What the fuck are you gonna do, Oracle?” Suki summons the trident and Leo summons his daggers. Chozen gets between them. “Guys calm down. You don’t need to do this. Remember what we’re fighting for.” Chozen said. Leo and Suki put away their weapons and go to their tents.
