Black Fangs

Ene, Ane and Lisa stopped as they arrived at the end of the forest where a misty, broken down village stood in front of them. On a dusty sign the words "Alley 2419" on it. "This is it. Alley 2419." Ane said as he watched his companions who nodded before the three walked to the village. The moon shone through the area as the teens entered the village and Lisa watched up at the gathering clouds. Metal was then heard clanging and the teens stopped their advance. 

"So you thought you could just step into this village so casually?" a masculine voice called with a laugh. The team readied themselves for a fight.

"Show yourself!" Ane yelled.

"As you wish." the voice remarked before a teen boy with grey eyes, a scar on his left eye which was slightly dull and black hair wearing a black leather jacket with dark grey insides, a light grey t-shirt and dark grey jeans emerged from the shadows; removing his hands from his pockets revealing his black gloves. Many similar dressed teens popped up from the shadows all about the area.

"That's not good." Ene thought with clenched fists.

"Who are you?" Ane asked.

"That's what I should be asking." the first teen said.

"I'm Ane Nickerson." Ane replied. The shadow teens eyed one another and then burst into laughter. "What's so funny?" Ane asked with a raised eyebrow. The first teen eyed Ane angrily.

"Get lost." he growled. Ane frowned.

"There's no way in hell that's happening. I came here to find Uncle Conner and I'm not leaving until I find the bastard." Ane said.

"Like I haven't heard that before. You posers think you all are so slick huh." the first teen remarked raising his hands in a shrugging position.

"Posers?" Lisa inquired.

"It seems they don't think this is Ane." Ene explained dryly. The first teen smirked and eyed Ane and his friends ominously.

"If you're the real Ane; you and your friends here should survive an ambush from my gang; The Black Fangs." he remarked. Ene and Lisa frowned.

"Okay." Ane said calmly. His friends tunred their attentions to him and the boy nodded to them reassuringly before looking at the first shadow teen. "What's your name?" Ane asked.

"The name's Sid. Remember it on your way to the afterlife!" the teen yelled in response; laughing as he stepped forward. Shuriken then suddenly flew all around Ane and his friends.

"Crap." Ane thought watching his friends.

"Elemental Weapon!" Ene yelled as a metal ninja staff appeared in his hands which he then used to hit away the shuriken that hurled at him. Lisa jumped into the air with monstrous speed avoiding the projectiles altogether. Ane smiled and did the same as Lisa.

"Oh? Not dead yet?" Sid asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I'll take on Sid. You guys handle the rest." Ane said as he landed. Ene and Lisa nodded.

"You think you can defeat me alone?" Sid asked grinning. "How amusing!" he yelled; bursting into laughter. Ane shot to Sid firing a punch to the boy's stomach. Spit flung from Sid's mouth as he flung backwards to then stop himself. "Oh?" he inquired in a serious tone while wiping his jaw and cracking his neck.

"Quite the change in attitude there." Ane responded with a dry gaze. Sid's eyes were shielded.

Ene and Lisa stood back to back; eyes staring at them from the darkness all around. "What do we do?" Lisa whispered to Ene.

"Improvise." Ene replied before spitting flames everywhere. Lisa ducked as the boy spun and Ane and Sid jumped out of the way.

"Improvise my ass!" Lisa scolded.

"A flame type huh." Sid remarked to then chuckle. "I must admit you lot are at least interesting." he continued as he landed on a window where he sat.

"Call off your "Black Fangs" so I can get to my uncle." Ane said. Sid laughed.

"No." he said bluntly. Ane dove at him and fired a punch which Sid casually avoided to then punch Ane away. Ane spun to his feet to receive Sid's knee to the face which sent him flying into a building; through a window.

"Ane!" Lisa yelled.

"Keep your head in the game cupcake." a man whispered from behind Lisa. The girl spun and kicked Ene; sending him flying.

"What in the hell?" he inquired eying the girl.

"Ene? There was a guy behind me right?" Lisa asked in confusion.

"Um, yeah. Me." Ene responded; rubbing his jaw.

"Arguing amongst yourselves; come on cupcake. That's pathetic." the voice whispered from behind Lisa who spun with a kick again.

"Are you okay up there?" Ene asked as he backed away from Lisa.

"Yes I am. I'm hearing talking behind me but when I turn; there's no one there." Lisa explained.

"I wonder." Ene said as he stared quizzically at the girl. She rose an eyebrow.

"Are you implying I'm insane?" she asked.

"Aren't you, cupcake?" the voice echoed. Lisa screamed and held her head. Ene then shot to a building and blasted flames into it. A hooded figure jumped out screaming and Ene dove after him to then slam the figure into the ground; headfirst. Ene exhaled as he landed smoothly.

"The voices should stop now." he said calmly.

"It did. Was it that guy?" Lisa asked as she kicked the hooded figure. Ene nodded.

"He was using an illusionary technique." he explained. The other teens from "Black Fangs" chuckled and Ene and Lisa frowned. "This is a pain." Ene thought as he summoned his ninja staff again.

Ane brushed his shoulders as he stood up in the building. "Is that all....Ane Nickerson can do?" Sid's voice echoed throughout the dark room. Ane looked around to notice that even the cracks in the window he got flung through didn't emit light.

"Is this a technique?" Ane asked himself.

"So can you tell me something." Sid said from behind Ane who turned to be slashed. The boy fell back in shock. "How long can you last while being hunted?" Sid whispered; laughing crazily.

"What is it with these mentally challenged enemies." Ane thought to then see shuriken fling at him from several directions. Before he could even budge; he was stabbed in the back by Sid who then jumped back into the darkness and the shuriken then pierced Ane who then stumbled forward.

"So this is what they call fighting in the darkness, huh?" he thought; laughing out loud.

"What's so funny?" Sid inquired as he appeared in front of Ane to be uppercutted. "That was your big plan?" Sid asked from behind Ane as the Sid in front of Ane turned into shadows that then wrapped around Ane and caused an explosion around the entire building.

Lisa watched Ene. "We need to end this to go help Ane." she said.

"I know." Ene remarked as he spun his staff as flames surrounded both him and the weapon. "You're a wind elemental right?" he asked.

"Yup, why?" Lisa asked.

"We'll go for a combo move." Ene remarked with a grin.

"Combo?" Lisa asked. "I've never done one with Ane though." she whispered.

"Well screw you!" Ene yelled to then begin grumbling. The "Black Fangs" chuckled and the boy's eyes twitched in annoyance. Ene then dug his staff into the ground to then spin the weapon before backing away from it. "Spreading flames." he said; spiting fire at the staff which then redirected fire at every angle it could. Lisa jumped back and when the attack was done; the buildings were scorched and Lisa remained in the air as she stared silently. The building Ane was in then exploded and her attention drew to it.

"Ane!" she screamed; holding her mouth. Ene eyed the engulfed building as Sid walked out with two cutlasses in his hands; exhaling.

"Just like I thought." Sid began. "BOOM!" he yelled while doing the actions with his hands to then smiled at Ene and Lisa mockingly. 

"He couldn't have beaten Ane, right?" Ene thought with a deadly look. 

"I'll kill you!" Lisa yelled as she braced for a fight.
