"How long are you going to sulk?"

It's only now that I've noticed that the ceiling of Milli's and Deci's apartment is comprised of large white tiles. The ceiling lamps are rings of different sizes. They intersect in groups to light up different parts of their home, like luminescent bubbles clustered together.

The crescent sofa's fabric is soft and comfortable as I rest my entire weight on it. Since the backrest is only as high as my shoulders, my head is laying limp on top of it. Deci appears from my peripherals and looks down on me. They places their palms on my temples and starts lightly moving my head side to side.

"I don't see why you're so embarrassed about having fun with tabletop games."

"It's childish."

"No no, that's childish."

Deci shifts my head all the way to the left so that I 'm directly looking at Milli standing a few feet away. She's wearing a panda onesie.

"Rude! It's not like you two are wearing anything different!"

Deci's onesie is a giraffe and mine is a tiger.

"Can I change out of this already? We're done recording right?"

"Aww, but you look so cute in it, Nano-baby!"

"I'm undressing right now."

Deci let's go of my head and starts walking towards the stairs.

"Milli, why don't you return Noa's face to normal while I get changed?"

"Yes sir~!"

Milli gives Deci a two-finger salute before taking their spot looking down on my face.

"Now close your eyes and unlock your facial module."

I do as she says and relax my body. I hear the gentle sounds of clicking from the adjustments she's making to my face.

I see my face module slightly removed from my head on Milli's hands, a few connecting wires are barely visibly from Milli's perspective. She's sliding her fingers on the underside of the face module and the structure seems to follow the trace of her finger.

"So how was the date yesterday? Is Gin making good progress?"

My mouth doesn't move when I uttered those words since security droids by default were not even built with a mouth. My voice still emits from where my mouth would be however.

"Yes ma'am! Your child is quite the fast learner. He's doing very well with his love lessons."

"I refuse to be viewed as the parent to such a man."

"Then would you prefer if I talked about how we kissed and hugged and-"

"I regret speaking with you."

Milli giggles as she continues to poke and prod at my face.

"Gin is... surprising. I mean his inexperience shows and he's not a particularly exciting romantic partner but... being with him is comfortable. I try my best being cheerful and bubbly because positive vibes affects the people around you but with him, I feel like not trying at all is more natural. I really like it."

"It's his unique deviation."

"His what?"

"Whatever the human counterpart is to our unique deviations. I'm not sure what it is but there's something about him that makes him get along very easily with other androids. On the other hand, he has a tendency to be awkward around other humans."

"Huh... You think he's secretly an android? Like maybe a cyborg?"

"I doubt it. He's not nearly as capable as one."

Milli laughs aloud. Her fingers continue to swipe and slide through my face with all the confidence of a clay artisan molding pottery. I give in to my curiosity.

"Do other androids do this often?"

"Do what often?"

"Adjust their face modules."

"Not really. It's highly illegal after all."

"...Excuse me?"

"Well yeah, when a face module is first installed, your facial configuration is registered on the local authority's online database. You can still modify it but only in places with the proper license to re-register you to the database, which are also usually the same shop you'd buy the module from. I wouldn't recommend it though, you'd have to renew all your IDs and credentials every time, sooo not worth it unless you're trying to avoid certain people."

"And the reason you're capable of adjusting facial modules?"

"Oh, I haven't told you yet? The reason I moved to AIKA is because I'm wanted for identity theft."

"What?!"

"Well, technically it's the reason why Deci, that traitor Centi, and I all moved here. Wanna hear the story?"

"As if I could say 'no' at this point."
