Volume 1 - Reincarnation… Like Clichés, I Guess?

While I'm taking my own time to customize my soon-to-be body, the Goddess-sama then stared at me pretty intently... as if that Goddess is thinking something. But I can't ponder what she's currently thinking at the moment. 

Even with the Goddess' half white and black-colored hair with her iridescent eyes, and a very womanly form that's reflected on her mixed black and white garments which are quite befitting of her. 

Not that I'm copying my form from here as a reference for my own body...

[As expected from your memories... You're a closet pervert.]

[Oi! Mind your own business, Goddess-sama! Please stop adding inner thoughts to my mind, and even reading my mind again.]

[You got me, huh...?]

After that stupid exchange, I continued fiddling with my soon-to-be body settings until I’m finally finished with it after fiddling with actually choosing a voice in which I also took it from the voice of Goddess-sama.

She then looked upon it by standing up from her throne and checking it personally. Once she was done checking the changes that I've made, she then spoke to me.

[Splendidly made, Nakamura Kurayami. It is befitting of your personality. With this... Your first wish will be granted, right here, right now!]

She waved her index finger again as I felt like I became taller than my usual height, and I felt the weight on my chest, and the feeling on my bottom disappearing… Now that I'm up close to the Goddess-sama, I feel the need to look down for a little bit.

When I looked down for a little bit, I can barely notice that my chest did grow larger...Wait, my breasts grew larger?! I’ve turned into one?!

[Precisely. It’s because you’ll be transported into another world that your soul needs to be molded into the body of your choosing. May I also ask you right now if you have decided upon your other two wishes?]

As she asked that, I quickly realized it as I quickly voiced out my thoughts...

[Hmmmm... Two wish--eh?! My voice's also changed too?!]

[That's correct, Nakamura Kurayami.]

[I'll probably get used to it... huh...?]

I sighed a little bit as I'm pondering on what I should do with the other two wishes... Since I'm going to be transported to another world filled with swords and magic, there would be some possibility that I need to gather a lot of information myself. Not that it would actually be needed since I would probably learn everything along the way.

[I can bestow you the power of Appraisal. It is a skill that's used to identify anything and everything that you can see as long as you control your magic power enough. It is also directly connected to your mind and what you currently have with your past memories intact.

But keeping your past memories is another thing and wish altogether.]

As I pondered more on that matter, I can understand that a wish will be used up to keep my own memories so I ended up responding to her...

[I-Is that s-so...? Goddess-sama, I want the Appraisal skill for the second wish, and to keep my memories of my past self intact as a third wish.]

[Safe choices, Nakamura Kurayami. Your second wish will be granted! You will acquire the <Appraisal> skill at its utmost capabilities by the time you've achieved your peak!

Your third wish will be granted! You now have the right to keep your past memories as the person who lived on Earth named Nakamura Kurayami! Other than that, I will bestow you the power to block any kind of mental damage attacks to exercise such right!]

She proclaimed in front of me as she then raised her hand over my head, and everything around me shook a little bit but I didn't feel such shaky feeling myself. After a few moments, the shaking stopped and the Goddess-sama puts down her hand and responded.

[Anyway, all three wishes that you've wished upon have now been expended, Nakamura Kurayami. I cannot permit you to stay here any longer so that’s all for now.]

She said to me in a proclamatory voice as the light starts to cover me. It seems that I'll be transported into another world now. But before I would be engulfed in such light, the Goddess-sama puts her left hand onto my right cheek.

The once expressionless face with a tone-less voice is now smirking a little bit. When she spoke to me again, I noticed that her voice wasn't tone-less anymore but more of a voice that anticipates a good departure.

[You have been an interesting human, Nakamura Kurayami. Don't change who you really are, even if your body has been changed. That's all for now, and may your life in another world that I created be fruitful to you.]

She said as I felt a bit of warmth from outside my body as I felt like my consciousness have started to disappear. I couldn't hear what she said from the last few words, but I can only think of the Goddess-sama seeing me off.

Ah yes… I’m now going to be transported into another world. 

I still can’t accept the fact that I’ve made Shiro cry due to my death, so I decided on changing my own appearance to my liking. I still have a lot of things that I want to tell her… But I can’t do it now that I'm going into another world.

*sighs*

I’m a huge coward, aren’t I? I remember that I totally thought to myself into believing that I have to confess to her after going to that fast-food restaurant… only to die and now be transported into another world…

After all of the things that happened during Nakamura Kurayami's stay, the Goddess of Creation sat down again on her throne when she felt a disturbance. At the same time, all of the Gods immediately appeared on the ground in front of the throne when one of them immediately stepped forward and reported to her.

[Anastasia-sama! We have detected an extremely thick and large cloud of miasma originating in the extreme northern regions of the planet Tierra!]

[Miasma? If that's the case, then a new Demon Lord has been born by this time around. Are you certain about that, God of Thoughts?]

[I swear by my name of Sou, the God of Thoughts, that all of what I've reported is real, concise, and within all certainty!]

[Monitor the current situation very intently.]

[[[[[As you will, Anastasia-sama!!]]]]]

Everyone kneeled in front of her before immediately disappeared from the Goddess' sights. After that moment, Anastasia lets out her thought toward the sky and muttered to herself.

[It is linked. As expected, that human has a really strange fate.

I cherish that world, and so...]

Anastasia then swiped up her hand as a <Status Screen> appeared before her which is Nakamura Kurayami's status on that world. She then muttered to herself again...

[Nakamura Kurayami, I want to apologize for what I'm about to do to you. Next time that we'll meet again, I'll be by your side to atone for this mishap and the fate that I've brought upon your new life in the new world.]

As Anastasia said that, she puts her hand on top of the <Status Screen> of Nakamura Kurayami, and adds on a lot of things to his status which he will soon know earlier than expected.

After my consciousness faded away from meeting with the Goddess-sama, my eyesight suddenly filled with a somehow hazy view. But my vision has now become a clearer one and… Woah! I can see a lot of things around me!

It seems that I've stumbled upon a room with a high ceiling and quite a good lighting in itself... Other than that, it seems that the walls have been heavily decorated too like in the Victorian-era home. But most important of all is that... the room is freakishly huge! So huge in fact that I'm assuming that I've been born as a noble in some kingdom in this new world! 

As I then tried to look around with my head, I still can't move my head with the strength that I have now... So I tried to look at the next best thing that I can look at the moment...

I then raised my arms. When I did try to put all of my strength into raising my arms, I came to see a view that I wouldn't forget at all...

[Eh?!?! I'm a real baby now?!]
