Chapter 43:

Ean Is Born

Ane And His Seames

Mist was spread across the area but currently slowly vanishing to reveal a teen boy with orange hair, golden eyes wearing a red jacket; white and orange striped shirt under and blue jeans with designs at the bottom in the midst of it. He held his chin. "I know!" he yelled grinning before eying Iy. "Ean here at your service!" he shouted; pointing to himself. Eina facepalmed. A V shaped slash appeared across Ean's arms and chest and blood then sprayed from him. Iy then appeared before him and Ean screamed in pain and jumped back; holding his wounds which were steaming. "What's this?" he asked; watching himself to see his wounds rapidly vanishing. He exhaled. "You're even faster than before." he said; watching Iy.

"Yes, he is." Eina commented. "But...he also used an illusion. A rather impressive one too." she added.

"An illusion?" Ean inquired; raising an eyebrow. Eina nodded.

"I wouldn't have noticed if it was casted on me directly. I noticed it a bit too late though." the girl explained. Ean sighed.

"Well never mind that. I'm gonna destroy this guy!" he yelled; punching his palm.

"Don't be so reckless you two!" Lana scolded drawing Ean's attention to her. "What Eina was implying is that you two are still at a disadvantage!" Lana continued.

"Oh, well what do you know." Ean replied calmly; itching his face.

"Must kill Ane!!!" Iy roared causing the ground to crack again.

"You guys should strategize quickly." Sid advised.

"So why's Ene the one to fuse with Ane?" Lana asked.

"If you recall the previous hits Ene got on Iy; he cause a huge explosion each time. So Ene's attacks are quite effective against Iy." Eina explained.

"Oh my gosh!" Ean yelled holding his face.

"What is it?" Lana inquired.

"He's named Iy! Ironic!" Ean shouted; laughing and indicating at the eyes on the creature. The others stared at him bluntly.

"You have to be kidding me right now." Eina said.

"I think I know how to see his illusions." Ane said in Ean's mind.

"I'm listening." Ene replied.

"My dragon eyes." Ane suggested. Ean's eyes were shielded.

"I guess we have no choice!" Ean exclaimed; clenching his fists.

"We didn't here squat you guys thought!" Eina yelled. Ean blinked and a huge blast of elemental energy surged from him; orange and had red electricity surrounding it. The ground raised from the pressure and Ean's now activated dragon eyes were gleaming.

"Kill all that get in Iy's way!" Iy yelled as he charged at Ean.

Ean calmly watched Iy who seemed to vanish and reappear besides him. Ean bent back; avoiding Iy's punch. "So that's how it works." he remarked kicking the creature away and turning. Ean saw everything in red, black and white and tilted his head as he stared at the red elemental energy flowing around Iy. Some of it was leaking to the area his illusion was and Ean smiled as his vision of everything else reverted to normal. He held up his hand to catch Iy's fist and he fired a kick to the creature's stomach and swung Iy away. Ean went in a running stance. "Straight Forward Punch!" he yelled; piercing forward to Iy and firing a punch which Iy phased from and reemerged behind Ean. Blood sprayed from the fusion's chest and Iy flashed to the boy's front and blood sprayed from Ean's back as well. Iy appeared to Ean's right and then left to then vanish to the ground below. Ean's hands sliced off and he screamed in pain as he fell; bleeding all over. Iy's body was drippling blood from all the blades that extended from it.

"Dragon Dance." Iy said as the blades sipped into his body. Ean's body was steaming.

"We need him off us." Ane said.

"We also need to end this!" Ean yelled as he stood up; hands half-way rejuvenated. "Flame On!" he exclaimed as his body set aflame. His aura burst from him again and he roared and stumbled back as his body began to grow and lava started to erupt from the ground. Ean turned to Iy as his aura subsided. The boy was now as big as Iy and had the movements and expressions of a creature. His eyes shone full red as he cracked his neck.

"Amazing." Sid remarked.

Iy and Ean charged at one another. Ean seemed to flash to the far right and punched. Iy appeared there to see Ean's fist already piercing through his stomach. A large explosion was caused and it flung Iy away. Ean soared above the ground after Iy who was blasting through rock formations helplessly as they weren't even amongst the hills anymore. Ean was literally flying through everything in his way like a bulldozer and breathing flames subsequently everywhere. An even larger explosion was caused as the flames hit Iy which caused the area to become clouded in smoke. Acid spat from the smoke and Ean rose a finger and a small ball of fire shot from it at the acid. Flames spread down to the smoke through the acid and Ean thrusted himself down and stomped on Iy as soon as the next explosion happened. Smoke cloaked the two.

"Is it over?" Lana asked. Iy flung from the smoke; steaming and without arms or a left leg and a lot of skin. He hopped onto a stone; wounds healing but the body parts burnt back off faster than it could regen and he fell forward to be uppercutted by Ean who appeared there at the exact moment. Iy's head imploded and the explosion blasted apart the entire creature and Ean landed coldly.

"Scorching Hot." he growled; blowing his steaming fist. The other teens cheered.

"You guys did it!" Lana yelled; jumping up. Eina and Sid smiled and Lana ran to Ean; hands spread for a hug. Ean rose his hand and an area of fire blasted from it at Lana who stared in despair. The fire shot across the battlefield.

"Amazing!" Ean screamed laughing.

A black portal appeared and Lana shot from it. She looked frozen. "She'll be in that state for awhile." Sid said.

"What'd you do?" Eina asked.

"I teleported her to the Shadow Dimension and back instantly. She spent like 15 minutes there though." Sid explained. "That's the reaction everyone has when they see that dimension for the first time." he continued.

"She has it tough." Eina whispered.

"N-no." Lana said; weakly standing and stumbling aside. "Not again!" she screamed watching Ean who then rose a brow at her.

"Oh, you're alive?" he asked.

"What were you two doing? Firing after Lana like that!?" Eina scolded.

"I was testing my attack range." Ean relied bluntly. Eina's eye twitched.

"Damn you! You idiots had to go berserk!" she yelled furiously.

"Idiot?" Ean inquired; tilting his head. He smirked. "At least I won't be the one dying today!" he screeched smugly; laughing.
