The Demon

The Captain helped Sonia to her feet. I didn't know what to do or say. Sonia saw something in me that completely terrified her, but what could it be?

Sonia didn't look good and said to me:

I replied that I already had a black mark and my arm in demonic form according to what Nobu had told the Captain.

All the knights thanked the King for the courtesy. There were several knights in addition to Kin and Yumi. Captain Hiro, Mieko, Teruo and Norio were also there.

Both responded that they were ready.

Captain Hiro went at great speed towards Yumi. She directed her fist towards Yumi's face. Yumi managed to defend herself with her two arms, but even so she was thrown against one of the walls of the arena.

“Come on, get up, Yumi.” said Captain Hiro.

“Why should I get up, I've already lost anyway.” said Yumi.

Captain Hiro got angry and grabbed Yumi by the shirt and said:

“The one who decided my victory is just me.”

Yumi started to get a little terrified, as she had never seen Captain Hiro with eyes as dark as she had at that moment.

Captain Hiro threw Yumi against another wall in the arena. The knights were all thinking that this was going a little too far, until Norio spoke up:

“If you're not prepared to suffer what Yumi is suffering then you can withdraw from the tournament.”

Everyone started asking him if he was listening to what he was saying. Kin just watched.

“We as knights have to be prepared for everything. Hiro is showing all of us that despite our differences in strength we cannot give up.” said Norio.

Everyone calmed down and continued to watch the fight. The King let out a smile after hearing Norio's words.

Yumi was about to get up, but Captain Hiro was already beside her.

“We're just getting started, Yumi.” said Captain Hiro with a tone of enjoyment.
