Chapter 9:

(S1) Taunting an A-rank adventurer

After reincarnating as the weakest demon lord, I decided to stand out.

Steps on how to be a C-rank adventurer immediately in the world of First primordial. First, the guild master should have some desperate need, and you know how to solve it. Second, create a scene because there's no way you can request a meeting with the guild master. Third, confront the scene you caused until the guild master arrives. Fourth, talk with the guild master. And lastly, blackmail the guild master using what I said at the first step as an excuse to force him.

Basically, that was all what the protagonist did. In this wold, no matter how strong you are, one still needs to start as a G-rank. Since the story hasn't started yet and I have the knowledge of the future, I'll use it for myself. I don't know when will it be though. I just need to be cautious of the differences between the game and reality that might occur.

However, since I'm already going to use his method of how he cheated to rank up, our mc Arthur will probably have to search for another way. He needed to be a C-rank when he did so at that time after all.

Not like I'm stealing his opportunity or anything, I'm just taking an inspiration. Still, I won't be copy pasting you're dialogues at least.

"I know this sounds difficult to you, but get your guild master here now. We have something to talk."

"...but sir, that's not allowed. Should I read the manual? and please pardon me, but without an appointment, it will be difficult to convey your request to meet the master."

"Then..." Turning back, I walked towards a blue haired guy, wearing a black coat. He was sitting down, doing nothing. "Is Ulfius your name?"

"...what do you need?"

"I challenge you to a duel."

As I said that, many who heard it were shocked. If anyone is wondering where did that Paul and Anna went, they're on a quest right now.

Well, I no wonder why they acted like that, after all, this guy is an A-rank adventurer. In First primordial, he's Ulfius, The calming claymore. A five star character that I rarely use. His game play is kinda good though, but I don't know why I ignored him.

"...what's your name."

"Yuukei."

"Never heard of you. What's your rank?"

"I do not have one."

"...then I can't see any merits."

"You will."

Without a warning, I tossed my violet orb to him. Sensing that it has a danger, he immediately stood up from his chair, leaped a step backwards, and block it using the claymore from his back. However, he didn't expect it to leave a large crack. And here I thought it will get destroyed like that boy's sword from the inn, but I guess this is fine.

Though, that's some amazing reflexes.

"...to be able to damage my child that I've been taking care greatly..."

"So, don't you want to take revenge of your child?"

"...do you know what you're doing?"

"Of course, who do you think of me?"

"...follow me, I'll let you know your place."

He gestured me as he gently inserts his two handed sword to the sheath. Ulfius is the type who dislikes arrogant people, so provoking him isn't much effort. With this, I can display my prowess to the guild, while waiting for the guild master.

All I need is to be careful, as a conjurer class, fighting a combatant class isn't really a great match, unless your level is way higher or you're an expert. It is not exactly the same as the cut scene shown from the game, but it is along those lines.
