Chapter 1- That is how

The realm of Pharus.

When I arrived in the realm of Pharus. It was as cheerful as ever thou being under the overlordship of RA the citizens were joyful and understanding they acted friendly towards the members of RA and they didn’t harbour any hard feelings against them it was just as peaceful as it could be.

I was wearing my usual attack faction uniform. It was a white coat with numerous buttons sideways in a parallel line on the chest. The Hight collar of the coat was laid down. I wore just a pane old white pants matching my coat. The head of a dragon was buckled near my pocket and had golden straps connecting it to the topmost button on the left side of the coat.

On arriving at the Plaza to get a ride to the castle, I noticed the liveness of the town. Mages and adventurers were walking in the streets.

In the plaza, the pigeons outnumber the red paving slabs. Just to walk from the tall terraced houses around the edges with their stores at ground level “I must take small steps to avoid kicking them. These birds have no fear of me”, but I'm more scared they'll foul up the Dracus leather shoes I bought last week at RA international workshop.

Arriving at the castle of my forcible arranged wife, I noticed it had an unusual glitter to it.

The castle was bold on the blue beyond. It stood there as if conjured from the storybook of a child. It was perfect. Amy imagined unicorns in the courtyard, because if those towers could exist, why not? Every stone was even and square as if those who built were set on perfection as if they loved what they made.

“I guess I still have to do it” I never wanted to get married, I was so fixated on RA and my post I never had experienced any romantic feelings for someone. Now I just wanted to somehow avoid this, I just had to act rude and make her reject me and everything would be over. If I would reject her Diablos would surely kill me.”

“HUFF, I am not backing out just yet”
I took a deep breath as marched across the drawbridge upon the ancient wood.

“It is more than a castle; it is a home” I couldn’t find any lines to describe it.

Workers and Ra members were wandering the place completing their tours as a major part of the association. There was no sense of awkwardness in them. They responded to each other in an instant. They were working in full force each depending on the other to ensure the completion of their job. After all, they are also a part which makes RA so great. The members were working in full force with great teamwork with the local workers. This was the new batch of the RA members sent, Adjusting and making up really good teamwork with a new group just shows how skilled the members of RA are.

“Dear sir, please follow me” An elfin maid approach me and showed me the way. She had covered her head with a white handkerchief. As she said those words, she walked in front of me abruptly turning her back on me. With no signs of watchers over me. I focus on my eyes. The blue glitter of my eyes swapped to orange. Channelling I could see a stat screen of a slightly blackish colour it was 20 cm wide and was see-through. The Age, Race and the condition of the body of the person I channelled to were available to my eyes to see it. I was the only one who could see it.

Race: Half-Elf, Half-Human

Age: 20

Condition: Stable

A half-elf. So, she is disdained by both elves and humans. Probably For that reason, she has hidden her elf ears. Still, it is not my place to talk.

“Sir please”, “As you say, miss”. The maid pointed to a room which I only thought to enter and to be my room of mine.

I was planning for the big event and this was one of the very few moments where I hesitated to open the door, I opened the door. I cannot possibly forget what I had seen.

The room was full of treasures. It was decorated with HRIC weapons. On the couch, my forcible arranged wife and Diablos, her father were sitting.

She had fair skin with sharp green eyes and short dark grey hair worn in low pigtails with thickly curled ends. The forelocks on the right were slightly longer with numerous black streaks towards the bangs. She was Pantherian just as was told by the Diablos. She wore a blue and silver bodice and off-shoulder bell sleeves with black ruffles. Her top was black and had the detailed grand crest of the Diablos family. Her skirt was indigo with a garnet gold chain attached to two smaller chains, and trim around the bottom are black and white ruffles.

I sat on the chair next to the couch, as I sat Diablos introduced me to his daughter. “Ascais, she is the Rhine your finance”

“And in which world do you think that I am going with that” I got up from the chair looking straight into Diablos’ eyes. ‘I am off duty so I don’t think he could take a step on me.’

“Ah, so that’s what you were thinking”, “Just stop using that skill on me”

“Rhine, do have any problem with my decision” Diablos glanced at his daughter ignoring me.

“Not at all-father, I know that every decision you take for me is for my good”

“Then there is no need for me, ‘glacis’ ” a blue aura emitted from Diablos as he vanished into thin air.

“That old man, who does he think he is” I angrily yet being quite focused and kept quiet.

“There is no need to worry” Rhine relax on the couch as she said it.

“And you have no problem with this”

“I can’t say that I have any problems, but I don’t want to go against father.”

“He is just using you to live his perfect world”

“Then are you are okay with this”

“No, not at all. It’s just that I owe him a lot, so I just don’t want to refuse him directly, I tend to refuse him but in end, I try to accept it still if it is out of my wish”

“I have no intention of marrying”

“That makes it easy” I was at ease. It made my heart to be stable.

“But still for my father just try it out so can do anything with my body even if you want”

I was speechless I felt as if my desires took control over me, I couldn’t reject her. Her sweet voice moved together to form a tapestry of the heart visible to the souls present.

I was freely able to resist the charm of a woman, but this time was different. I felt an unnatural sensation of dryness as I opened my mouth to speak.

“Ah”, She touch her index finger to my lips “Follow me” I wasn’t able to react, I didn’t stop her nor backed out,

Before I could say anything, she threw a release S crystal on the ground. On impact, the crystal let out a blue light seemly covering the entire room as I was about to cast a dispel spell I was stopped by her saying.

I felt like every atom of my body left it and reached out to the centred coloured orb hovering on the place of impact of the release S crystal. By the events which were taking place, I could only think that the crystal contained an inner realm teleportation spell in it. I had plenty of time to leave the affected range, but as I was about to leave I felt an unusual feeling on my right arm. She was leaning on my arm just like a newly weed bride. Her bust was touching my arm. It was soft and a weird first feeling to my arm. I was too embarrassed when I looked at her. I wish I didn't blush so fast, that I had some ability to keep my emotions to myself. In an instant my cheeks were rosy and she saw right through my feelings as if I wrote them in little notes and handed them out.

Before I knew it, we were teleported. I did not seem interested in scouting and looked at the place. “Judging by the cast time you have teleported me somewhere pretty distance” They had numerous trees filled with the top greenery I ever had seen. Rhine was sitting on a branch just barely behind me at a distance of 7 feet from the ground. She was so fast that I didn’t even see her move or hear her footstep.

“Father told me that you are an excellent warrior, you were able to calculate the distance to the teleportation point only by measuring the cast time” She jumped from the branch and landed up to me and sat on my shoulders. “What gives, leave me” as I uttered the words from my mouth, she leapt from her position and scolded me “What’s wrong in clinging to your finance”

In an instant my cheeks were rosy. Whenever she talked to me it just seemed as if I had to blush. She pointed to the view from the position. At this point even though I don’t know why I am going with this, ‘I should talk to her on his matter’

We were standing on the peak of a mountain. the mountain's rising ground, ever upward into sunny rays, there was a feeling of peace as feet met the earth. I was only able to realise this when I was at peace. The view had absorbed the essence of my soul and returned it purified upon our reunions. I had looked at the area but I didn’t spot that we were on a mountain. It seemed as if it just magically appeared out of nowhere.

“It has been like this”, “Hmmmmmmmm”

“I barely know you”, “So what’s the matter” She was calm her skin colours were blending with the scenery, I was determined to avoid the marriage and make her hate me but what is this feeling I don’t want to leave her. ‘I felt like my brain was ordering me to go back and continue my normal life as for my heart it is like it is telling me to say where I am. I am the chancellor of the attack faction

“Lastly at least consider marrying me once”

“I don’t know.” ‘Why I feel like this, why now of all time I want to accept her of all. Would I still reject her if I had known her?’ “The only reason I am rejecting you is that I barely know who you are, on thinking I just know your name”,

“I am the Rhine re von al Diablos, the third daughter of the 7th demon lord Diablos. I am a realm association ACE. Just like you, I am factionless for now. As of, now administrating the Pharus realm but I am going to be shifting soon. I am the wielder of the blue ice, that is who I am. I love drawing and having cuddling times, If you are still uncertain and stay with me for some time, then.”

“Like you even I don’t want to refuse to Diablos. So, for that, I accept your proposal” something supernatural forced me to say those words. In terms of supernatural stuff, the entire Realm association is full of these matters; I did accept her proposal. Why did I do that, that was not me not at all. How did I open my mouth what was happing’

“We will be living as a couple; I hope you are okay with that”

“Okay” ‘why I am doing this.’ “Once you get to know me better you may rather choose me as your bride or just leave me alone and think as if nothing had happened”

“Don’t you think you are giving me too much freedom, it’s like I am your boss and a superior person to you, then why are you doing this.” I didn’t receive an answer but saw the Rhine turning away from me. I was the least concerned about it. “For now, at least give me a release crystal”

“Ahh, I don’t have one” She turned awkwardly against me. “The council says to keep a spare set of release crystals with you all time, I really can’t imagine a person who doesn’t carry an extra pouch”, “Rhine was angered and probably ashamed of her. I just triggered her somehow. I can easily imagine how embarrassed is she feeling. She had tears in her eyes with an angered face about to burst she just looked so cute. She was as if she was about to burst into a million pieces of anger. Her teeth were bursting and clashing against each other.

“Just come near me” I removed a release P crystal from and interdimensional space which I made. I threw it on the ground. On impact, a white-coloured orb was formed and my mana started to flow in it. The orb turned black on absorbing my mana and after a few milliseconds, the orb exploded and teleoperated us towards the room in which we were earlier.

“That was quick”

“For it’s my spell”

“That is quite integrating”

I was feeling dizzy and was about to collapse. In reality, I mistakenly removed the wrong release P crystal containing a greater spell instead of what was needed. It cost a huge sum of my mana. Plus, it was a teleportation spell so it was just natural for me to be weakened.

I started moving when I just couldn’t force my body any further. Each step became difficult and got harder as I progress. I didn’t want to faint in front of my probably new wife. But nothing goes as planned.

I couldn’t take the sudden mana loss. Only if I was in my Dragonborn form I would easily be able to avoid it. “I think I am going to….” I said these words as I fainted.

When I woke up, I found myself in a room with a new change of clothes similar to my uniform. My mana was replenished. I used an enemy dictation spell just in case. From that spell I came to know that there were 2 guards waiting outside, they showed blue results when I inspected further so they won’t be hostile directly towards me. I took a deep breath and tried to calm myself. “The mana regeneration was really quick, to think I did have a change of heart, I didn’t want to get married but now I want to get married.” ‘The problem is that I only want to get married to her, why. Is this because of Diablos or do I just like her.’

After a second or two once I completed my analysis of my feelings. I flipped up the blanket covering me. Only to see the Rhine fully naked on my bed clinging to my right arm. She was sleeping effortlessly, but the bigger thing was that she was naked. “What if someone walks in” I was scared and didn’t know a way to assess the situation. Diablos told me if I were to ever be caught, I should just run. But running was not an option. As there were two guards waiting outside the door. Taking them out won’t be a problem despite having been sealing my magical potential, I could always just use my dragon arts which I rely the most on.

As the last option, I thought to jump out the window. As I was to get up when the Rhine woke up sitting on the bed while folding her legs. She was covering her breasts with one hand while rubbing her left eye with her other hand. “I see you are awake Rhine”, “Ya, I am dummy, can’t you see it”, ‘dummy???’ she said in her sleepy voice. I was about to have a cuteness overlord. I was about to bleed my nose. “What are we doing in the same bed and where are your clothes”, “Stupid I was just giving you a mana transplant, that is what happens when you try to flex with an HM spell on me.”, “Sorry for that but first please where something”

“You are just a baby, just chill”

She got off the bed fully exposed It was a miracle that I was able to control myself

“Form now you will try to be husband, that is the only way in which you could ever find if you will be with me”

“Ah, but I didn’t agree to that”

“Do you have memory loss”

‘Ya, I had agreed to her’ I have seemed to have forgotten everything. I was trying to speak up to her but I was too distracted by her breast. It was like I was hoping for her to stop me from staring at them. I wasn’t staring at them instead the ring on the hand was covering her breast. I was using this to try to put my mind that it was okay and nothing was wrong and there were no altered motives.

“Hmmm, hmmm”, I looked at the Rhine she had a weird smile on her face. “Ascais” She lifts her arm covering her breasts away from them. I saw it, the gelatinous parts that a man desires to fondle. They were soft and I am proud that they were my first time. I tried to look away when I couldn’t hold it anymore. I passed away with a nosebleed. Not being able to control anymore.

“Aah hahaha, you really, had a nosebleed, at least it is confirmed that you are like looking at me”

The next day.
The room in which I woke up in a room unusual to me. The room used soft and soothing greys and silvers floor colours to create a sparkling, luxurious feel. From a Modern crystal chandelier that dangled over the bed to a plush silvery grey carpet that practically begs for your bare feet, The cerulean-coloured wall that reminded you of the ocean, waking up in this bedroom would be like waking up inside a warm storm cloud. And now I am doing it.

The bed was soft and clean. It was fluffy It tickled my back. I just wanted to keep myself on the bed. But I had to wake up. When I woke up, I saw Rhine sleeping next to me again. This time wearing clothes. I thought that I had too much power.

I could do anything. I lost my control I tried grabbing her chest when she woke up. She was smiling at me with the same weird look yesterday when she grabbed my hand and forced it to her chest.

I was immune to it now when I had already seen them. I got up avoiding her. I don’t know how I ended up here. But it is obvious who bought me hear. Rhine was still sleeping in the bed now probably ignoring me. “Only if I knew how she felt I would act in a loving way to her, but I didn’t dare to ask her that. Instead, I started to walk away outside the room.

‘I am pretty sure that this was the same castle that Diablos asked me to give the blueprints, as he said he wanted to build it for his daughter’. In the end, I am walking in the castle which I and my best friend had one day imagined.

“Seriously, I am spending my vacation trying to decide whether will marry or not, that is redisclosed” I was talking to myself as I was walking through the hallway. I recalled the moments of the past day which I spend with Rhine for some reason.

I was thinking that I may marry her in the future. ‘Outside she is just the perfect woman, the one who cares for others and keeps her words but when you spend one day with her you know that she’s not the person who you think she is. She is clumsy and doesn’t care what people think about her, she is direct with her feelings and is pampered. Which is out of my league. In reality, I hate a female of her personality, but for some reason, it doesn’t matter to me. And the end she probably even has a pervy side to her,’ ‘Why I am having feelings that I may end up accepting Diablos’ marriage proposal’

After what happened yesterday and the Rhine actions that the Rhine performed, I can’t get to know her figure.

“I see you are the faithful man”, A Young man who had blue hair and eyes with fair skin approached me. His outfit consists of a black coat with a white-coloured lining, coupled with a dark blue blazer and a white shirt underneath it. He was wearing a set of black pants and held a scabbard in his belt.

I turned towards him, “Sorry but do I know who you are”, ‘ah’ he knows who I am, that’s awkward. I know that most of the members of RA know who I am and respect me a lot. But they never approach me directly to greet me. “Well, there is no way you know who I am in this state”. ‘He looks so similar to Rhine; he is probably her brother’

“Ahaus, this may help, ‘The golden demonic form leaps into me, Alvis!!!! the dominator and overlord itself the Holic Demon Knight’ ” When I heard it. He grew long blond hairs from his black hairs replacing them. His eyes black eyes turned blue. four sharp teeth grew from his jaws. He was the HOLIC DEMON KNIGHT!!!

“I see, ‘I who shall be awakened I am the self-dragon who lost to the principle of domination. I envy the infinity and the nearness of death; I am who shall be awakened. I am the demonic self-dragon of destruction. Dragonborn!!!!!!”

My skin started to turn a faint blue while I cast one of my best and the biggest trump card, while my arms and legs started to grow dragon scales. My hair became 5 times longer and turned blue. My teeth became sharper my ears became pointed. Under them, mana was crystalised taking the form of 3 feathers

My transformation spells my most powerful state at my basic state. With berserker, I am even able to go against a great ace.

Our transformations forced each other’s to make distance from each other. “The self-dragon of destruction here I come, ‘Hakai Slash.’ ” He came charging at me with the full force he took out his sword, it glowed golden as he was about to strike me, He was as fast as one could be. He was as strong as any ACE. “Dragon Claw” Golden sharp long pointed claws emerged between my knuckles and ankle. I Just them to block the sword slash attack by him.

‘Dragon Claw’ is a spell used by Dragonborn. It is a spell which can act as a melee weapon. The claws which were formed were strong as adamantine swords or stronger.

My magic spell claws and this enhanced sword clash against each other both on the side trying to overpower each other. Sparks let out as we tried to battle and come out victorious.

“You are pretty strong now, Holic demon”, “Don’t call me that, flying human lizard”

‘Flying human lizard???, what do you think. Working for 4 years on one mission doesn’t allow you to call me that’

We leapt against each other both exchanging sides and striking their left and right sides respectively. I was enjoying this fight but he called me Flying human lizard had me angered and had danged my pride as a dragon born.

We kept slashing each other again and again. He tried to attack me on my shoulder legs and chest reputedly, but I was easily able to block with my dragon claws. I went on offence and kept slashing him again and again on his hands and chest.

He was blocking my strikes effortlessly. The material of the sword he used started to wear off as he kept clashing with my dragon claws. In an instant, my claws started to become weak and soft. On Impact to the sword know they were bursting to fine friary shards. It was as if I was manipulating hot partially metaled iron into a war sword.

I took the incitive to draw back my spell claw, he did the same. At this point, I could imagine what he would be doing.

‘The Self dragon of destruction there is no escaping now’

I started gathering mana from my surroundings and infused it into an orb-like structure. The orb turn somewhat of a purply-pink which indicated it was ready to unleash, outside it looked just like a normal lesser version of Dragon Nova, but this was my own dragon art spell, Dragon Brust. Just like Dragon nova but instead of going in a straight line, it scatters itself into fine particle rays finally converging at one spot and then blowing up.

It took me a couple of seconds to come up with the spell while I was doing this. My opponent started to accumulate his mana from his body and successfully managed to form a hundred pure light swords after him.

‘Using thousands of hands of gold swords’ in a single command of his hands he could demolish me as my defences were already low.

‘Using a Dragon nova in a small space, how stupid are you, the self-dragon of destruction’

“To be true I have rarely used this spell, I hope you will not die, it would be a shame to lose a worthy opponent”

“As I would” He does not understand me or does he.

The hallway started to get dim as we were about to unleash are spells.

“Dragon Brust”

“Thousands of hands of Golden swords”

My orb was about to burst and his light swords were about to advance.

“Stop it!!!”

We heard a familiar sound raging from the other side of the hallway from where I was standing It was indeed Rhine’s voice that I heard. This was the first time I heard her screaming in that way it sounded as if she was pledging. In the mite of battle, I had forgotten that Rhine was just a few meters away from us. In the room across the hallway.

The disturbance in mana flow must have been dictated by her. My spell was meant to be used outdoors but without any preparations or HD magic barrier spell using it would destroy the entire hallway if not the entire castle killing every non-Ra member near it. The light swords cast would surely kill any Ra member in sight as I would just avoid them and the homing effect would be re-use on the other life force.

Rhine approach us and was in a state of shock. She was cold to her toes. She wasn’t able to open her mouth seeing the Holic demon knight beside me.

Rhine grabbed me and started whispering in my ears. “Are you gone out of your mind”, “I don’t know, well it is my fault that I was about to cast in but. Still”, “No, not that. Do you know who were you fighting against?”

“Off Couse” I turned towards my opposition and called him. “Yo, check what Rhine is saying do I know who I am fighting”

At this rate, I already thought that he knew Rhine. If not then there was an option that Rhine is his sister or he is the one to replace her as the administrator of this realm.

“He is Kartos, my fellow ACE friend. We fought in the realm of Avatars for 4 years.”, “I know that” Rhine screamed in a childe’s manner. She shuttered behind me peeking by my back.

I looked at her when Kartos, the Holic demon Knight came towards me. We Shook our hands as remembered our times.

“Rhine good time seeing you, she glanced unto him. “Yeah” It was out of the matter that it was weird. Rhine has a childish personality with pampering also sometimes acting like an adult. She was now behind me crowding. He looked at me saying “It’s a surprise that you know Rhine, my younger sister”,

“Isn’t it obvious that I would know my Fiancé, wait”

I was in shock. That my trusty good old friend and rival is the brother of my fiancé. I couldn’t hold it. I looked at Rhine with a fear simile, whispering in her ears. “What the hell shall I do”

“Just do whatever you want”, “seriously!!!”

“So, Ascais can you explain something to me”, “No, it’s not like I want to or something” Kartos had a purple aura surrounding him. Encircling into a web prior to animation and death I was obstructor and felt my legs were cut off from my body, as he approach even closer to me, I was scared and couldn’t do anything. I was about to kneel and was going to ask him forgiveness so that he would not kill me.

In terms of strength, Kartos is like a bully. He has bested me in each and every part and he even looks way better than me.

As I was about to do it. Rhine stood up in front of me. She looked scared her legs were trembling. She open-ended her mouth.

“Onii-sama, please don’t hurt him. You may have something against each other but still, I, love him, He is my fiancé and a wonderful person. He has really good achievements and loves me the same. I fell in love with him as soon as I met him”

“Huh” I was speechless at what I had heard. On the other hand, Kartos had moved a few steps behind.

The little sister I knew feared me just as for my sight, but this time. “Rhine, what do you think. Father had already told me what he was up to. I am just a bit surprised seeing him as your fiancé. Ascais and I were really good comrades at arms. We just love to dual others, as for him he is just jealous of me”

‘Huh, what do you think of me Kartos’

“Father told me that you were going to marry someone, seeing the someone” He had a glance “I don’t think that there is anything is wrong, A person who has a good personality who loves RA and takes the best care of everyone. Good luck with your new life I hope that you take care of it”

“Onii-Sama” Rhine had sparkles in her eyes as she was a loyal flower for him. Only blooming for him and only him.

Kratos looked at me as he left for his room. According to the Rhine, he was the one who was going to replace her in administrating the Pharos realm. It is really weird seeing a frontline ACE in inland realms. I just hope that everything is going to be good.

When I had a glance at Rhine, her face was the blush of roses that peek champagne pink. The colour infused her cheeks dimpled with the blossoming shy smile and her eyes shone in a way that only deep happiness can bring.

“Stop looking at me Ascais.”, I turned around and realised just how cute was she. “Ah, what did you say to Kartos that was a lie wasn’t it”

Rhine launched at me rushing and sitting on my shoulders she blinded me with her arms shyly saying. “It wasn’t a lie”

My mouth was open wide. I found it very difficult to look at her or keep my mouth shut. “HAHAHAHAHAH, you”

“Seriously shut up” She was angry with me but the way she spoke it just felt so nursing. A relationship in which we are hoping for the best that someday this forced relationship may look natural at least enough for convincing people. I just hope that I can spend some days relaxing without thinking that the relationship between Rhine and me was just forced on me.

Just imagine that the most precious thing that you are in is just all for an order which was given to you by a person who barely knew you outside your job.
