Ane Vs The Dragon

Ariana placed Eina down and defused. "What are you up to Ane?" Lana inquired. Ane sat in a crossed leg manner for meditation and focus. "Listen; I know this will sound insane but I'm going after...HIM." Ane replied; pointing at his stomach.

"You...don't mean..." Lana began but Ane nodded. "Are you nuts!" Lana yelled.

"We have no other choice here." Eina stated. "Our best bet is taking down this area but it constantly regens; except for that wall for some peculiar reason. I think it doesn't because of that Puppet Master's direct interference." she continued. Lana frowned and grabbed Ane's hand.

"Promise me you'll make it out alive." she pleaded. Ane smiled.

"I promise." he said; nodding. He then closed his eyes and immediately opened them to see the dragon staring down at him expectantly.

Ane stood up and watched the two papers that lay on the gate of the cage. One read "Reflierase Stangle" and the other "Usnleecash Foullnd". "Yo drag, what do these do?" Ane inquired. The dragon stared at him and grinned.

"So you're planning on trying to tame me!? Is that what you're aiming for brat!?" the dragon hissed; grin spreading.

"Well I wouldn't call it "taming" but..." Ane began; eyes shielded. "I can't rely on your rage to constantly get me out of tough situations. It's about time I harness that power as my own." he concluded; clenching his fists determinedly. The dragon closed his eyes and chuckled.

"Get lost; kid." he remarked.

Ane opened his eyes in reality to see Eina and Lana fending off Anes. "Eina.." Ane called. The girls hopped back; their several bruises becoming more noticeable.

"You ready with that trump card?" Eina inquired.

"Not yet. Do you know what "Reflierase Stangle" and "Usnleecash Foullnd" means?" Ane asked. Eina tilted her head; muttering out loud.

"The first one means "Release Stage" and the second means "Unleash Full"." she replied slowly. Ane smiled and closed his eyes.

"Thanks." he said as he stood up in the seal and stared at the dragon's cage. The dragon opened it's eyes and observed Ane as the boy slowly glided to the first paper; eyes shielded.

"Do you know the risk of what you're about to do, boy?" the dragon asked.

"Why would you care?" Ane inquired as he held the paper; gulping. He pulled off the tag and the dragon's eyes closed before the doors flung open and Ane dove back. Smoke poured out the cage and human sized dragon eyes gleamed within it. A fist punched Ane across the body of water and Ane flipped to his feet to see his dragon form land in front of him on all fours. It smirked. "So that's it, huh." Ane said; falling to one knee from the previous blow. The dragon chuckled from Ane's human dragon form.

"There's some things you should know about this "taming" process." it growled before charging Ane at insane speeds. Ane spun through the air uncontrollably; the water around him rising up from the force of the attack he received. Ane fell onto the water to see the dragon hovering over him; eyes glowing. It kicked him in the back while saying; "If I defeat you or make you hit that underwater seal right there; I will be temporarily released in...this form. You won't be able to force your consciousness out; you won't be able to stop me." A smirk spared across the dragon's face as it spun and fired another kick. Ane sunk deeper into the water; eyes rolling up. He dizzily saw a huge chain floating under the water from what seemed like a void.

Linx was on a tree; panting and holding himself in pain. "Is that it?" MM inquired. Linx frowned and MM sighed. "I guess it's time I end your pathetic existence." MM remarked; dragon eyes gleaming.

"So...this is it for me, huh." Linx thought; eyes shielded.

"Giving in already?" Faith asked as she landed; liquid gold rushing across the area. MM stood there calmly as the tree he stood on gave way beneath him. MM flipped onto another falling tree before rising into the air.

"Faith." Linx said relievedly.

"Before you give in again at least tell me what the hell's going on?" Faith asked. Linx nodded.

"Hey Ane! Ane!" a feminine voice yelled. Ane opened his eyes to Lana and Lisa staring down at him.

"H-huh?" Ane asked as he sat up. Lana, Eina, Lisa, Mandy, Faith, Sid, Conner and Ene all surrounded Ane with disappointed looks. "W-what's with those faces?" Ane whispered.

"You're disappointing us...Ane." Faith remarked; shaking her head shamefully.

"How?" Ane queried. Conner stepped forward and punched Ane. "What the hell dude!" Ane exclaimed.

"You idiot!!" Conner scolded. "Did me dying mean nothing to you?" he blurted; scoffing. Ane's eyes were shielded. Conner cleared his throat. "What I'm trying to say is...I conveyed a message before I died. You should listen to it right about now." the man said; smiling. Ane eyed Conner; recalling the man's final message.

"B-but I haven't been slacking off and yet...yet I've only survived because of the dragon's rage! Now I can't even..." Ane began but everyone gently tapped him and surprise filled his face.

"You idiot. All you have to do is make that rage yours. After all; this is what you're trying to do now. All the dragon is in it's current form is rage." Conner remarked. "Although it seems impossible to beat him....you must and will push through." he concluded. Everyone smiled and nodded at Ane. The boy gulped and nodded. He then grinned.

"Thanks...everyone." he said.

Ane opened his eyes to see himself inches from the bottom of the body of water. The dragon stood above the water; arms folded. "Hmph...pathetic." he growled. Ane spat from the water; uppercutting the dragon who looked shocked. The water emitted waves and Ane kicked the dragon away and through these waves. The dragon grabbed one and thrusted himself at Ane who shielded with his arms. The dragon pierced through Ane who then dispersed into elemental energy. The dragon exhaled and said, "Pathetic Trick!" before turning and slashing at Ane who ducked and fired a fist to be kneed in the stomach. Spit flung from Ane's mouth and he got swung away. The dragon ran on the water after Ane who summoned his dragon claws and sliced the blades into the dragon's actual claws. The dragon swung it's talons which Ane avoided by forming a clone who kicked him up. Ane spun and came down like a sharp top but the dragon sunk into the water and ran directly below it's surface. Ane followed the dragon to be dragged down by another dragon. The one he was chasing vanished into elemental energy and the actual dragin fired a fist which Ane swam from skillfully. The dragon the rapidly kneed Ane away and clasped it's hands together; making water lunge Ane further back. The dragon claws enlarged into Ane's elemental weapons and he thrusted himself forward. "Straight Forward Slash!" the dragon thought rocketing across the water and at Ane. Blood spilled through the water.
