The Beginning

Women. The more I think about it, the more I don’t like them.

They play us guys, and funnel off our money just for us to be screwed in the end.

I don’t want a girl like that... I want a girl like in anime and manga... a 2D girl, one that’s caring and loyal.

My name is Chandler Brown and I am eighteen years old.

I am jobless, and fresh out of high school, and live a pretty unhealthy lifestyle. Some consider me a little overweight and I like to smoke my electronic cigarette.

Of course I am also a very single otaku not satisfied with my life.I very frequently wonder what if I was isekai’d, and was reincarnated in a brand new world with cute girls like in an anime.

“Hey Chandler what the fuck are you doing just staring off? you damn ape.” 

My friend Matt asks me as we sit around the bonfire late at night with my group of friends.Matt has brown hair and is wearing basketball shorts and a t-shirt. 

I then decide to respond to Matt’s remarks.

“I was just thinking how nice it would be to start off life in another world, after getting isekai’d” (Chandler)

Matt then cringes at my thoughts and gives a quick response.

“What the hell is Isekai’d? you anime fuck.” (Matt)

Matt has a girlfriend and despises anime and manga, he wouldn’t understand my desires.

My other friend Carsten, a lanky looking guy, loudly talks about sex and fishing with everybody.

Another friend of mine, and fellow anime fan, Ethan is sitting next to me, quietly listing to me and Matt’s conversation.Ethan is a mopey guy who also has brown hair.

Carsten then looks over at Ethan and prepares to make a declaration

“Ethan, so when am I going to take your single mother out somewhere nice for dinner?” (Carsten)

“Carsten, can you please just leave me and my mom alone?” (Ethan)

Ethan seems to be uncomfortable with Carsten wanting to make advancements on his mom, not that I care though.

I hit my electronic cigarette, which I usually call the schmonin, and I blow a cloud into the summers night sky.

The night proceeds like this until we finally begin leaving.

I walk with Ethan towards his car to leave, but are then stopped by our friends Chris and Nick.

“Chandler we gotta hang again sometime soon.” (Chris)

“Ethan, Chandler, lets play some battle royal games tomorrow.” (Nick)

Ethan happily responds to the two as he gets into the driver seat

“We definitely should, bye guys.” (Ethan)

Chris gets a smirk then waves, and then proceeds to speak.

“Bye Bitch-boy-Ethan” (Chris)

I get in the passenger seat, and then Ethan starts the car, and pulls out with a depressing look.

Eventually we get to my house, and Ethan drops me off, we say goodbye to each other, and then he drives off.

I live with my two older brothers, because my parents recently moved elsewhere to be closer to family.

Sometime later, I go check my mailbox to see if my cat girl body pillow has arrived yet, when all of the sudden bright lights shine on me.

It is a semi truck barreling down my street at a high speed. It quickly approaches me at a high speed, and then everything suddenly goes dark.
