The beginning

The universe is now a dark, dark place with only one star alive. This star has been lighting the universe for over a thousand years, but its light is slowly getting more and more dimmer, marking its end. Among the darkness, a young human boy is floating in the emptiness, cursed to watch the end of the universe. This boy was alive for more than a million years and he will still be after everything has disappeared. That young human was cursed for the actions of his parents. A long time ago, a young witch fell in love with a young man. The witch has approached the young man countless times, but he did not share those feelings. The witch used to be a beautiful woman. She had the power to curse everything and nothing. But to use her power, she must sacrifice her life force. The witch became more and more desperate, dreaming of the day when the young man would finally fall in love with her. Little did she know, that day would never come as the young man fell in love with another woman. That woman was the daughter of the king and bound to be queen after the king has died. The princess fell in love with the young man, rejecting all of her marriage candidates. The princess gave up on her royal blood and decided to marry the young man. They were living in a small house near the countryside, away from the kingdom the princess came from. The king's reaction to this was truly spectacular as he died from heart failure after hearing that the princess is married to a countryside man with no money and that she gave up on her chances for the throne. Her suitors were very mad that the princess had rejected them and they marched into the king-less kingdom, looking for revenge on the one who took the beautiful princess. They were disappointed that the princess and her husband isn't living in the kingdom and they were asking around for clues on their whereabouts. They had met the unaware witch in her house in the middle of the dense wood surrounding the kingdom, in desperation of news and rumours. The witch wasn't aware of the fact that her love is now married to the princess until the suitors informed her of that much. The insanely jealous witch immediately kills all of the suitors and went looking for the happy couple. She found them after a few months of searching and since she had used most of her life force, she has lost her beauty and she is now old and crumbled. with her last power, she jinxes the baby boy that the former princess was holding as she could not bring herself to hurt the young man nor the one that he loved. As a curse or as a gift, she made the baby boy immortal. The witch's body slowly crumbles into nothingness as she used up all of her life force.
