#07: Case

Police vehicles swarm a house where a crime has happened, investigators are patrolling the area, looking for evidence

Police 1: ( pointing his flashlight towards the dark areas of the room ) nothing special here, broken things, oh look at this ( picks up a picture frame ) so they are a family huh

Police 2: hey, check this out, a hidden door

Police 1: Woah! Well that leads to another story, open it

Police 2: sure thing ( opens the hidden door on the floor ) oh, a staircase, wonder where these would these leads us

And the two cops go down, and they report what they saw

Police 1: chief, we have what we're looking for here!

Chief: stay there, we're coming!

A few minutes, and...

Chief: Have you inspected this corpses?

Police 1: yes sir, but I haven't moved their bodies yet as my buddy here is still taking photos of them

Chief: so what do you got for me?

Police 1: a photo album, the suspect's wallet, and a broken picture frame with all of them

Chief: all of them dead? Weird

Police: inside job sir?

Chief: I don't think so, but look at this, this person is wearing the Uniform of that prestigious school, U.B.A., but he is quite old to be a student there don't you think?

Police 1: maybe he was really smart, or maybe not since he is now dead

Chief: well, this is his family, and now they are all dead, now what would that school have to do with these?

Police 1: acquiring their uniform is as hard as becoming a 5 star general overnight

Chief: heck yeah, now let's look for more

And the Police department is now investigating the crime committed in that house.

36 hours ago, half of the teachers are now preparing for the graduation of the 3rd year class even though they just started the school year, and since some of the teachers are accompanying the 2nd year students on a field trip, more of a class study in a different country, and at the moment only the 1st year students are now only in the school

While on the rooftop of the school

Mann: lucky them, they are all out there enjoying life

Ren: I kinda want to join those 2nd years on their study trip to another country

Kim: Would be nice if the school would allow us 1st years to come with them

Genesis: were freshmen so how about we enjoy our lone time here while our seniors are away 

Mann: how?

Genesis: how about we play kings, I'm the king of the North!

Mann: well I'll take east, I'm now the Eastern King!

Ren: I'll be taking west, I'm the King of the West!

Kim: and it's south then, then all of you will eventually bow to me like how gravity fucks your life, I'm the Southern King!

And the 4 friends rushed to an empty room, picked up the brooms in the storage, started hitting each other, run from one room to another, claiming each room like it was theirs and the last room that they haven't conquered was their room, and when they opened the room, their class adviser Shizuka sensei was there to inform them about something

Shizuka sensei: good, our four Kings are finally here, how about you take your seats your highness

And the 4 friends put the brooms down in the storage and go back to their seats.

Shizuka explain the situation all the 1st year students will be doing while their seniors are away

Shizuka sensei: as you can see, our school has a very high standard when it comes to preparing our students for the real world, teaching only the highest form of education, and our tests here come in various types, but for us to truly know if most of you would survive the next 3 years of your study life here, the school designed a test only for the freshman students, and the test would be conducted here in the school grounds for the next 24 hours, of course, we already let your parents or guardians know what's about to happen, and they happily oblige with our protocol, any questions?

Genesis: what if one of us can't sleep here? What if some of us have a medical condition that only allows us to sleep at home?

Shizuka sensei: ( she smile and said ) then that proves that you are not ready to be here, might as well go home now while we haven't started the test

Amiya: wouldn't that be too unfair on our side to just oblige without getting notified ahead of time

Shizuka sensei: isn't that something, I mean death doesn't give us a heads up anyways, but to answer your question, we are here to polish you guys, not to baby you, ok?

Kazura: and well be having everything that we need, I can't really sleep well without my favorite pajamas

Shizuka sensei: I'm not sure about the sleep, as I've told you, what you're about to do is a test, not a field trip

Amiya: for 24 hours, then at the very least we'll be properly supplied right?

Shizuka sensei: Depends, actually the bell is about to ring and they are gonna call us to go to the gymnasium, so how about we learn everything there?

And class F slowly moves to the gymnasium.

They didn't expect that the other classes are already there

Rakuto: as expected, always late, why not go home, you'll fail the test anyways

Kazura: hahaha! How about you sleep and never wake up again huh

Mann, Ren, Kim: yeah! Yeah! How about that you punk!

Sylvia: calm down now, we don't want to hurt ourselves before the test, don't we?

Amiya: how hypocrite, you love this kind of drama, and now you would say stop?

Sylvia: oh, if it isn't our majestic Princess, how are we, princess?

Amiya: ( gave a sharp look to Sylvia and walk away )

Sylvia: how cute, that former junior, so, how about you guys?

Genesis, Mann, Ren & Kim looking at Rakuto sleeping while standing on the wall

Sylvia: oh, this goof, well, good luck with you guys, we gotta go

And all the students go back in line as the head of the school delivers a speech

Hakarage sensei: Good morning everyone! As you can see, your seniors have their respective duties to attend, now, for you freshmen, we have this test to weed out the weak from the deserved ones who will survive our test, so now for our test ( points to the entrance doors and an armored vehicle started unloading the people inside, first is the Police officers, then comes the convicted criminals, each criminals wearing their orange prison uniform walk one by one to the stage, and Hakarage proceeds ) now here are your tests, these criminals will be with you for the next 24 hours, these hardcore rapists, kidnappers, psychopaths, drug addicts, pedophiles, and murderers will be your equal, but, their job is to capture everyone in your class and that class must do all their best to avoid that, as if they do, then even though they are already in the death row, means they are gonna die anyways, we will grant them their last single wish except freedom in exchange of failing all the students in the class that has been captured, and each class will be given a prisoner, don't worry, they won't kill you, see the collars in their neck, we'll leave you with them but the Police officers here are still in charge for their behaviour in case of a sudden change in their moods, so rest assured that you all will be safe, and each class have an hour with their prisoner to asks things, and after that, the test begins, so Good luck to all of you

And each of the prisoners was delivered to each of the classes.

An hour has passed, and the test begins.
