Miu Chiba II : Schooltrip Stalkers

It's the second day of the school trip and we all have free time to do what we want to do here in Kyoto.

I asked everyone in the group, "Where do you guys want to go?"

Nise excitingly insisted, "The bamboo forest! The bamboo forest!"

Miu suggested, "Wouldn't it be better to go there at night?"

Sakura replied, "That's a no-go."

Miu asked, "Why not?"

I kind of get why Sakura said that but we can't really explain it to Miu.

Sakura gives up, "Fine, we can do it."

Miu cheered, "Yes!"

Itsuki asked, "That's later tonight, what about now?"

I suggested, "The Kyoto Tower?"

Yuuki replied, "Yeah, let's go there!"

We all went to Kyoto Tower first and there was a long queue for it.

Miu complained, "Why the line is so long?!"

Nise replied, "Maybe because there are other students from other schools whose school trip is also here in Kyoto!"

The place is filled with students from different schools. Kyoto is the go-to place for most school trips. 

Itsuki whispered, "Shin, I don't see the two dudes from yesterday."

I replied, "Yuuki and I already told Sensei about it."

Itsuki asked, "What did he say?"

I replied, "Sensei talked to Miu's agency about the situation."

Itsuki understood, "I see."

We waited in the long queue until we finally got our turn to buy the tickets. We went up to the observation deck of Kyoto Tower.

Miu looked outside, "We're so high right now!"

Itsuki followed, "You're right. Plus, we can see the whole city right here."

Sakura also looked outside, "I wonder what the view looks like at night."

Nise pointed at one of the buildings, "That's the inn that we're staying in."

I replied, "By the way, never look down guys."

Yuuki didn't follow my advice and looked down and how high she is. She fell to her knees, "I thought, I was gonna fall."

I followed suit, "I told you not to look down."

Yuuki replied, "But it made me curious. You idiot, Shin."

I followed, "Said the one who actually looked down."

Yuuki started annoying me by messing with my hair, as she seeks vengeance for what I said. Everyone giggled around as she was irritated.

Itsuki asked, "Where are we going after this?"

I looked at the clock, "How about we eat lunch for a bit?"

Nise asked, "But where though?"

Miu suggested, "How about at the Nishiki Market? There are a lot of options there!"

Yuuki agreed, "Yeah, let's go there!"

We left Kyoto Tower and went to Nishiki Market, which is a couple of minutes away from Kyoto Tower.

We arrived at Nishiki Market and there were a lot of food options. From fried squid, and takoyaki, to ice cream.

Miu pointed at one of the shops, "I'll go get one of those."

Yuuki followed Miu to the shop, "I'll go with her."

While Miu wasn't with us, I told Nise and Sakura that Sensei contacted Miu's agency about it.

Nise replied, "Thank goodness. That's a relief."

Sakura followed, "Yeah, me too."

Miu and Yuuki returned with food. Miu suggested, "You guys should buy food now."

Sakura pointed at one of the shops, "I'll go there."

Nise followed, "I'll come with you."

My head hurts...

Miu followed suit, "Wait for me! I'll go with you guys as well."

The three of them started walking away.

Itsuki came after, "I'll explore the place for a bit."

I feel a bit nauseous. A bit dizzy.

Itsuki started exploring the place.

Yuuki asked, "How about you, Shin?"

I replied, "I'll get a place for us to eat. Can you buy me something to eat, Yuuki?"

She answered, "Sure do. Just let me know where you are."

I left Yuuki and find a place where I can eat and rest. Luckily, there's a nearby park. I texted the rest of the group about where I am. I drank some water and rest for a bit.

A little bit later, Yuuki arrived, holding food, "Shin, here's your food."

"Thanks, Yuuki."

She hands out the food to me and Sakura, Itsuki, Nise, and Miu arrived also holding food. We all ate and finished our food at the park.

Itsuki asked, "Should we get going?"

I replied, "We should rest for a bit. I'm getting a little tired."

Miu stands up, "I'll go to the toilet for a bit."

Sakura also stands up, "I'll go with you too."

Miu and Sakura left as they go to the restroom.

After ten minutes, Sakura returned, "Where's Miu?"

Itsuki replied, "She's with you, right?"

Sakura answered, "Yeah but she said she's gonna go ahead."

Yuuki stands up, "This is bad!"

I grabbed my phone and called Miu but she wasn't answering at all.

Nise became more worried, "What do we do now?"

I started calling Sensei. Sensei answered the call, "What's the matter, Tanahashi-Kun?"

I explained, "We lost Miu, Sensei."

Sensei was surprised, "What? Where are you guys?"

I replied, "At a park, near Nishiki Market. What do we do, Sensei?"

Sensei followed, "Find her immediately. Some of the members of her agency are in Kyoto right now. I'll call them about it and go there to help you guys find Chiba-san."

I nodded, "I understand," and end the call.

I explained to everyone, "For now, let's search for Miu around the Nishiki Market. Sensei said that some of the members of Miu's agency are here in Kyoto. Sensei will help us find Miu once he is done talking with Miu's agency."

Everyone nodded and we start finding Miu around the marketplace. We all looked around the place and she was nowhere to be seen.

We all meet up back at the park. I asked, "Has someone found Miu?"

Itsuki answered, "I asked the vendors and they all said the same thing."

Sakura worryingly asked, "What is it?"

Itsuki explained, "They said that she was running away from two men."

Nise reacted, "Two men?"

Yuuki realized, "The two stalkers from yesterday."

The middle-aged guy with a camera and the guy with glasses.

Sensei suddenly appeared, "Have you found Chiba-san?"

I replied, "No, we haven't but one of the vendors told us that she was running away from the two stalkers."

Sensei followed, "This is bad. The agency is also searching for Chiba-san. Let's go to the police station."

We nodded at Sensei and we all went to the police station to ask the authorities for a search and find. They started reviewing footage from the cameras around the city. One footage caught our eyes.

Sakura pointed at one of the monitors, "That's Miu!"

Yuuki asked, "Where is that?"

One of the officers said, "The shopping street."

Sensei followed, "But that's a while ago. "

They switch back to the present and one of the monitors caught two familiar guys.

Wait a minute...

I pointed at the monitor, "That's the stalkers."

One of the officers replied, "That's near Mibu-dera Temple."

Another officer followed, "Let's go there!"

The officers started moving while we went along with them.

...

My head...

...

I stopped for a bit, and Yuuki noticed it, "Hurry, Shin!"

I suggested, "I'll stay here at the station. The station might need one of us just in case." 

Yuuki replied, "We understand."

I followed, "Good luck guys!"

Sensei and the rest of the group went with the police to Mibu-dera Temple while I stay here, helping them navigate where Miu is.

On the phone, Sensei asked, "Tanahashi-Kun, do you see Chiba-san at all?"

I looked at the monitors, "I don't."

The monitors show that the police are starting to spread out to find Miu and the stalkers.

One of the monitors shows a white-haired girl running away from two guys.

That's Miu!

I yelled, "I see Miu. She's running away from the stalkers."

Sensei asked, "Where?"

I replied, "At the opposite of where you guys are! You guys can split up to corner them!"

Sensei and the rest split up as they try to corner the stalkers and save Miu. Some officers help them as well.

Sakura pointed, "Over there!"

Itsuki shouted, "Miu!"

Miu sees Itsuki and Sakura , "Guys!"

The guy with glasses, "You're not going anywhere!" as he tries to grab Miu by the neck but didn't catch her.

Miu hugged Sakura, "You guys! Thanks!"

The guy with glasses pulls a gun, "I said, you're not going anywhere."

He points the gun at them. The guy with the camera started threatening, "If you don't want your friends to die, I suggest leaving them Orchidna-sama."

One of the officers went in front, "Hands up and throw that gun."

The guy with glasses suddenly pulled the trigger on the officer and hit his chest. The officer went down on one knee, as one of the stalkers continued on threatening, "Now, we're not afraid to shoot your friends."

Itsuki, Sakura, and Miu started trembling in fear and panicking.

The guy with a camera, "We only know three seconds."

Itsuki mumbled, "Shit."

The guy with the camera starts counting, "Three!"

"Two!"

...

"One!"

...

"Kill th—"

The guy with the camera went down and the one who has a gun looked behind and pointed his gun, "Who's there?"

The police elbows him in the head and the guy went down unconscious.

Yuuki shouted, "Miu!"

Miu was surprised and sees three people, "Yuuki! Nise! Sensei!"

Nise replied, "Thank goodness!"

Miu cried, "I'm sorry guys!"

Itsuki replied, "It's fine. We're safe now."

The police handcuffed the two stalkers and lead them to the car.

Sensei informed Miu, "Thank goodness and you're safe. Your agency is also here in Kyoto. Text them that you're fine right now."

Miu nodded at Sensei.

Sensei looked at the time and it was about to get nighttime, "We should leave right now and go back to the station."

Sensei and the group leave the area, as they are accompanied by some officers.

Miu looked around, "Where's Shin?"

Yuuki answered, "At the police station. He was backing up throughout the whole thing."

Meanwhile, at the police station...

The officer looked at me and gave a thumbs up, "Good work there, kid!"

I replied, "It's nothing."

I'm feeling dizzy once again and was about to fall but the officer caught me, "Are you okay? You're a bit white right now."

I replied, "I'm fine. Do you guys have any water?"

The officer answered, "We have. Lay down on the couch."

The officer left the room and I lay down on the couch.

That's right, I'm fine.
