‘’We have a crisis on our hands, almost everyone in school is either missing their phone or money, someone stole them from most of the student body.’’

‘’Whaaaaaaaaaat?’’ The principal was in shock about that discovery.

His shock slowly turned into anger, he had never heard of an incident like this during all his years at that school. In a rage, he commanded the teacher to gather everyone in the gym hall.

The students were gathered as per his instruction, they weren’t in a calm state, as everyone was demanding their items back. It was chaos at best.

However, their chatter quickly turned into silence as soon as the principal set foot on the stage to address everyone.

‘’I hope what I’ve just heard is some sort of prank, I ask whoever is responsible for this to come out and return all the things in their possession, because if we find them first, they will be expelled no question asked.’’

Giving that brief speech, the principal left the stage, followed by many students and teachers, and asked him questions about what should be done about this situation.

The principal stopped to address them, he raised his finger and spoke in a terrifying voice, ‘’what you can do is help find the suspect or suspects, search every corner, classrooms, lockers, bags, underwear, toilets, toilet papers, and even the garbage cans, in short leave no stone unturned.’’

Hearing that gave hope to those suffering from that crime, everyone scattered all around the school as the principal had mentioned, as they left there was only one thought in his mind.

‘And I will spy on female teachers.’

After hours of searching, the search party found everything. Inside two lockers of students were hundreds of phones and money in plastic bags. This discovery made everyone happy, but one person was still angry, the principal. He demanded that the culprits must be brought to his office.

And who were those culprits? Bao and Joshua.

‘’For stealing, causing distress, damaging school image, and making me leave this room, Bao and Joshua, you have been expelled from this institute.’’

Oblivious to the situation, they were taken by surprise, they pleaded, but their cries weren’t heard. Dragged by the school guards and shamed by the students and teachers alike they were thrown out of the school.

They had no idea what was happening or why it was happening to them, however, it all became clear when Bao’s eyes landed on a smiling Kachi (Ivan).

Standing with the yelling crowd of angry students, Kachi was smiling and waving at them, this made Bao realize that he was behind all this, but he could do nothing about it.

Before leaving, he vowed to himself a vow that made him cross paths with kachi again in Division 1.

‘’If you are going to be a robber, then I… I will be a cop.’’

December 31st, 2015

In a dark alleyway, with a little light coming from a house or a shop located on the other side of the road, out of breath Hera was leaning on the wall, with her was Kachi.

Both of them were holding bags that had the items they just looted.

‘’Tha… thanks for saving me back there,’’ Hera huffed, her breath visible because of the cold weather inside G4.

Kachi moved his eyes towards her but stayed silent.

‘’I was skeptical of this duo mission, especially with you, but it seems like you are better than anyone in the group after all.’’

Kachi noticed something behind Hera, the source of light somehow placed magic on him.

‘’Seems like I’m in your debt,’’ Hera’s breathing speed became normal, she stood straight and faced Kachi as she continued, ‘’how about I treat you with dinner?’’

Kachi’s eyes widened with happiness after Hera said that, making his jaw drop, ‘’can you go with me?’’

‘’Wait what?’’ Hera was taken by surprise.

‘’You are the only one, I need you, I can never do this without you, and…’’ Kachi rolled his eyes up, ‘’I can’t live without that.’’

‘Is he asking me out for a date?’ Hera thought, ‘I offer him free dinner and that's his response?’

‘That’s a weird way to go about it.’

Hera blushed a little, ‘but he is good-looking even with all the weird things he pulls now and then.’

Hera shook his head, ‘no, no, no.’

‘But…’

‘I can give it a try and see how it goes.’

Hera looked at Kachi, blushing, ‘and he seems super into me too.’

Kachi’s eyes were rolled back with his open drooling mouth, he was thinking something, which wasn’t about Hera, ‘Eggs… Eggs… Eggs.’

‘’I guess… I can go,’’ Hera stated, looking down.

‘’Wow! You will?’’ Kachi was happy beyond explanation, his eyes were sparkling with excitement.

‘’Yes,’’ Hera smiled while blushing.

Grabbing something from his pocket, Kachi came closer to Hera.

‘Wait don’t tell me he has a ring and gonna propose?’ Hera stepped back.

‘’Take these 10 dollars and buy me those eggs.’’ Kachi pulled out money from his pocket.

‘’Huh?’’

Smiling, Kachi placed the money in Hera’s hand while she had no clue of what was going on.

‘’What? What eggs?’’ Hera was confused but tried to confirm what she heard Kachi say just now.

Pointing behind her Kachi spoke, ‘’those.’’

Looking back, Hera noticed something, which made everything clear slowly. There was a grocery store on the other side of the road, through the glass window a banner was seen.

The banner read, ‘’eggs… 50% off - only for women.’’

Seeing that made Hera angry and brought her on the verge of crying, as she felt as if she was rejected by Kachi. She punched him in his face and yelled, ‘’you fucking weirdo, go die somewhere.’’

‘’Kachi you idiot…’’ Utsukushi while sitting on a chair in her office yelled in anger, ‘’this is the 50th time you have failed a mission.’’

‘’I can, *shivers* explain.’’

In a barrel full of ice, Kachi was sitting with nothing but his underwear and mask on.

‘’You need to have an IQ lower than a mosquito to be able to sleep during a robbery.’’

‘’I was tired,’’ spoken with a vibrating voice, Kachi tried to explain.

‘’Too tired to drag the cash out of the bank?’’ Utsukushi placed a hand on her forehead, ‘’why does my first caretaker job have to be with you?’’

‘’You see,’’ Kachi moved his eyes up, trying to remember what happened the night before his mission, ‘’I was out with my third connection, we had a nice dinner at a nice restaurant. Everything was going great, when we were leaving, she asked me if I was willing to come to her place tomorrow.’’

‘’She?’’

‘’Yes, but I declined, then she asked me if she could come to my place instead, I said no, she didn’t ask again. We went to an ice cream shop next, then to the cinema, and finally, we reached a park, where I asked her for her number and signature, for the connection task. However, for some unknown reason, she got angry and stormed off, I was confused, but then I thought maybe she was lactose intolerant, and you know what, that wasn’t the case. I stayed in front of her apartment all night, begging her for the connection. I mean there is no way I can make a friend in the remaining month of the program. In the morning she came out with red eye, an allergic reaction from something we ate I presume, and finally, she agreed to give me her number.’’

‘’Holly fuck!’’ Utsukushi was in shock, ‘’how dense are you? You are an idiot, no doubting that.’’

‘’I told you what happened, now stop calling me an idiot,’’ Kachi pouted.

‘’It will be evident when you fail the program.’’

Hearing that Kachi’s eyes glowed and a smile appeared, ‘’I’m gonna surprise you by taking the top spot, get ready to have a heart attack?

His smug nature lasted only seconds before the cold reached his mind again.

‘’Kachi Jagaimo,’’ inside the hall, where Kachi pointed out the instructors on day one, all students were standing in line, while Aron and Luna were sitting on the chairs.

Aron was addressing all the students and telling them their scores. Behind Luna and Aron was a banner, hanging down from the roof, it read, ‘Graduation day, Go to hell - criminals.’

‘’You have failed…’’ Aron shook his head in disappointment, ‘’you can’t advance to the next phase.’’

‘’Gaaaaaaaaa…’’ Kachi dropped to the ground, like someone who had their life sucked out of them.

‘’In 8th place, Dylan Free, 785 points.’’

While Aron read the names of the students who had passed, Kachi was crying non-stop.

‘’Please…’’ in a crying voice, Kachi raised his hand towards Aron, ‘’don’t crush my dreams like this!’’

‘’Hmm?’’ Aron raised an eyebrow, ‘’it’s the law of nature kid, only the best survive.’’

‘’Is there any chance you can force me in with the passed candidates?’’ Kachi slid near Aron as a worm moves on the ground, ‘’I’m begging you… don’t kill my dream.’’

Aron crouched down, ‘’look kid, I will be honest with you.’’

Kachi moved his head up as tears fell from his eyes.

‘’You will be better off stealing candies from dead people, than being a real robber.’’

‘’Lol.’’ Ethan looked sad.

‘’I… I failed,’’ Kachi while hugging his mother cried his heart out, ‘’what will I do now mom?’’

His family, who was ready to welcome him as a HOC graduate, had all the decorations and food prepared for his arrival. The atmosphere that was going to be cheerful was now full of sadness and gloom.

His sister was busy on her phone, as she sat on the sofa, his brother with the party hat was staring at him with questioning eyes, while his father was patting him constantly to make him calm down.

‘’Don’t cry, you can always do something else,’’ Sarina cleared the tears falling from Kachi’s eyes, ‘’oh I know, how about being a chef like you used to say back in elementary school.’’

‘’But… that seems boring,’’ Kachi sniffed.

‘’It was something you loved to do, so I don’t think it will be boring,’’ Sarina glared at Hugo, ‘’Isn't that right Hugo?’’

‘’Uh yes, It’s a great goal to have,’’ Hugo said in fear of being punched by Sarina.

‘’Won’t Logan and Axia make fun of me, like they used to do,’’ Kachi looked at Sarina with sad eyes.

‘’They won’t,’’ Sarina glared at Logan and Axia, ‘’right?’’

‘’Uh… yes.’’

‘’Y… yep.’’

Kachi hugged his mother, ‘’I won’t disappoint you this time.’’

Logan who was standing behind Sarina opened his mouth in shock, his eyes were looking at something the rest of them were unaware of. So, shocking that his legs were shaking out of pure terror.

Sinister, Kachi’s whole face resembled a demon about to attack humans and eat them.

‘’What have you done…’’
