Chapter 4:

Chapter 3: The Most Embarrassing Moment

Tifara & David-Season 1

When the five minute warning bell rang, Tifara and her friends fought through the crowd as lots of students hurriedly walked to their homeroom classes without being late. The students' chatter echoed throughout the hallways. The administrators stood there and watched the crowd in the halls to ensure order on school campus. Some students go for the areas of Years Hei and Waw while others go upstairs for the areas of Years Zayin and Het. Certain number of boys stared at Tifara's curvy body with their reddened cheeks, while the girls gossiped with each other about Tifara.

Tifara raised her sad eyebrows and held onto her necklace while her heart beated hard. She ignored those who mistreated her and looked up at the ceiling. Dear Elohim, she thought, Please give me strength to overcome this. In Yeshua's name, Amen. Then her eyes began to search everywhere for President Saul and Calpurnia, yet they were nowhere to be found. Great...looks like Saul's not here...Tifara thought, sighing, He's probably in the Year Zayin section since he's a Junior now. I guess I'll have to see him later on today. If not, I'll have to get my friends to eat breakfast next to him tomorrow. Tifara smiled at the thought of Calpurnia not being around Saul. But at least Calpurnia's not with him now, she happily thought, That's a relief. Whew!

Once Tifara and her friends made their way to the area of Year Waw, they first walked towards Tifara's homeroom period. A portion of students behaved the same as the ones outside of the Year Waw section. Tifara tightened her grip onto her necklace and frightenedly moved her eyes sideways, while May patted on her shoulder as a form of comfort. Sam and Dalila chatted with one another and remained focused on Tifara's safety at the same time. Sweat poured down all over her face. Her heart pounded harder than ever before. Awe man, she thought, When will this shit ever end?!

May turned to Tifara and whispered, "Remember what I told you."

After Tifara recalled May's advice earlier, she turned to May and smiled, "I will. Thanks, May."

"Mhn," May replied, "You're welcome."

Tifara continued to take May's advice and remained focused on her walk towards her homeroom period, lessening her grip on her necklace. May looked around the hall with Sam and Dalila with her serious look on her face. When Tifara and her friends finally made it to Tifara's homeroom class, Tifara stood near the door, smiling and waving at her friends. "Bye, guys! Thanks for protecting me! I praise Elohim for this!"

"No, problem, Tifara," Dalila exclaimed, smiling and waving back at Tifara.

"Yea, man! We'll come back here after your first homeroom period!" Sam also exclaimed, performing the same actions as his girlfriend.

"Mhn," May said, shaking her head as she behaved the same towards Tifara as the couple did.

As soon as her friends went their separate ways for their homeroom periods, Tifara turned around and ignored the crowd. Ok, Tifara, she thought, Time to enter the classroom and get it over with! When she was about to enter her homeroom class, she heard a girl's voice a bit far away from her yelling, "Hey! Give me back my book!"

"Huh?!" Tifara asked, curiously turning to her right, then expressing her sad face. There she saw a girl with black glasses putting her hand out forward, while one of Calpurnia's friends ran away from that girl with her paperback book. She had black, wavy hair, light brown eyes and dark pale skin.

"Well, hey, if you want it, come and get it!" One of Calpurnia's friends sang, chuckling viciously.

"Ugh!" The girl with black glasses said, clenching her fist as she ran after one of Calpurnia's friends. "I said give it back!"

Giving her an evil grin, she threw the book to her friend on the left side of the hall like she was throwing it into the basket. "Here you go, Jecolia! Catch!" she said, laughing viciously.

"I got it, Abby!" Jecolia responded, holding her hands out forward in the air.

As soon as Jecolia caught the book in the air with her two hands without fail, she hummed out of joy. She had orange, straight hair and tan skin. Her vicious blue eyes stared at the girl with glasses. "Come and get it!"

"Ugh! I'm serious, you guys! Give that back!" The girl with glasses yelled, running after Jecolia. "I'm gonna be late to class, y'know!"

Tifara glared at Calpurnia's friends. Alright, I gotta go help her before she's late to her first homeroom period, she thought, running forward. Once the girl with glasses was about to retrieve her book, Jecolia chuckled and threw it back towards Abby. "Here, catch it!"

"Don't mind if I do," Abby said.

Okay, now's my chance to catch that book! Tifara thought, displaying her serious, determined look on her face, running towards the book.

Once she caught it in the air with her two hands, she walked towards the girl with glasses.

"Ugh!" Abby roared quietly while she and Jecolia glared at Tifara. "What a bitch!"

"That whore jus' has to ruin our fun, does she?!" Jecolia angrily asked.

"Ah!" The girl with glasses stared at Tifara. Her eyes widened and twitched a little sideways. Her mouth was opened a little bit and a little sweat poured down on her face from her forehead. She shivered and sadly looked at Tifara.

"Here," Tifara said, handing the book back to the girl with glasses.

"Oh, uh-uh..." The girl with glasses said to Tifara, grabbing the book from Tifara's hands. She quickly turned to her right and tightly held her book onto her chest. "Thank you, Tifara...Uh-uh, I truly appreciate it..."

"You're welcome," Tifara said, closing her eyes. She smiled and turned her head sideways to the left.

"So, uh, next time..." The girl with glasses said, "Please don't assist me anymore..."

Tifara confusedly opened her eyes and raised her eyebrow at the girl with glasses. She put her head up straight. "Um, why would I do that though?"

"Because..." The girl with glasses paused there for a moment.

"Because what?" Tifara asked.

"Because...I don't want to be associated with a slutty girl like you!" The girl with glasses cried, walking quickly in the hallway.

"Ah!" Tifara widened her eyes and opened her mouth. She then clenched her fists and looked down below her. Ugh! Tifara thought out of frustration, Why can't people just judge me based off of my heart rather than my physical appearance like Elohim and Yeshua has?! It's so frustratin'!

"Awe, look who has been rejected as soon as you helped her out!" A girl's voice echoed behind Tifara.

Ah! Tifara thought as she recognized that girl's voice, turning around for examination. She then expressed her serious face with her mouth opened, showing off her straight, white teeth. It's Calpurnia! she angrily thought.

There she saw Calpurnia chewed on her gum and twisted one of her ponytails with her index finger. Oh, great! It jus' can't get any worse, can it?! Jus' what the hell does this dickhead want now?! Tifara angrily thought.

After Calpurnia popped her pink bubble gum, she said, "Welcome back to school, Titsfara. I'm glad to see you again. I miss tearin' your ass down, like last year. Am I right, girls?"

"Uh-huh!" Calpurnia's friends happily agreed, closing their eyes, shaking their heads.

"Well, I certainly didn't miss you guys!" Tifara roared, tightening her clenched fists. "I don't want anything to do with y'all! If you excuse me, I'll be headin' to class now, so I won't be late and get in trouble on my first day of school, alright?!"

As soon as Tifara turned around and headed for her homeroom class, Calpurnia viciously laughed with and said to her friends, "Oh? We'll see about that. Watch me, girls."

Calpurnia quickly walked towards Tifara and tripped over Tifara's legs halfway towards Tifara's homeroom class. Eh?! Tifara thought while she fell down in the air. Once Tifara's body slammed against the white, tiled floor, the students around her chattered louder all the sudden. The boys' cheeks blushed when they looked at Tifara and the girls including Calpurnia and her friends laughed at her and gossiped about her even more than ever before. Tifara raised head up from the floor and curiously looked up at the crowd, raising her eyebrow. What are they laughing at? she thought.

"Nice panties you got there, Titsfara," Calpurnia said, "They look so good on you."

Huh?! Tifara thought after everyone saw her black and white striped panties. She closed her eyes and reddened her embarrassed cheeks, when she quickly rolled down her skirt all the way down to two inches above her knees. Then she sat up and put her head down. She was lucky that the school banned its students from bringing their phones to school. I-I-I can't believe it...Tifara thought, I can't believe my first day of school has gotten worse. First, I faced the same kind of treatment as last year. Second, Calpurnia had breakfast with Saul. Now Calpurnia embarrassed me like this. I have never been...this embarrassed in my entire life! How much worse can this day possibly get?! Tifara looked up at the ceiling with her sad look on her face. Oh, Elohim...Tifara sadly thought, Please help me...

"What's going on here?!" An administrator's voice asked, echoing behind Tifara while Tifara quickly stood up from the floor.

After the administrator fought through the crowd, her wrinkled face and grey eyes immediately glared at Tifara. The ceiling lights flashed onto her mostly light brown hair and her pale skin. She wore her feminine business suit and black high-heeled shoes. Oh, great...Ms. Acerbi's here...Tifara sadly thought, She'll make my life livin' hell, that's for sure.

"You...I knew you would cause trouble around here!" Mrs. Acerbi yelled, "You came back in the new year, and caused the same kind of trouble as last year!"

"But I didn't do anything wrong, Ms. Acerbi," Tifara said.

"She certainly did too, Ms. Acerbi!" Calpurnia disagreed. "She literally showed off her panties in front of everyone here!"

"What?!" Ms. Acerbi roared, turning towards Calpurnia. She then nearly closed her eyes while she angrily looked at Tifara.

"No, that's not true!" Tifara yelled, "Calpurnia tripped me over just to expose my panties in front of everybody. Everyone saw it!"

Ms. Acerbi turned to the crowd. "Was Tifara telling the truth?"

"No!" The majority of students however answered, siding with Calpurnia over Tifara. Then Ms. Acerbi glared at Tifara even more and breathed harder.

"Eh!?" Tifara widened her eyes out of shock and opened her mouth a little, sucking her teeth at the crowd. "Y'all are lyin'. Y'all saw Calpurnia tripped me over, and you guys know it!"

"Tifara...I know you would cause so much trouble, but not like this! Not only did you lie to me earlier yet you also did something this indecent! Yet you think way more than two witnesses would ever lie about what they just saw?!" Ms. Acerbi roared, walking towards Tifara. "You're coming with me, young lady!"

"But, Ms. Acerbi. I-" Tifara tried to say something, yet Ms. Acerbi grabbed her arm.

"I don't want to hear any more excuses from you any longer, Tifara!" Ms. Acerbi roared before she turned back to the crowd. "Everyone else go straight to your homeroom classes immediately, or you'll get an office referral! Now get going!"

When the final bell rung, the remaining students headed for their classrooms while Ms. Acerbi took Tifara straight to the principal's office. Tifara saddened her face once more. She looked up at the ceiling and thought, Elohim...why are You doin' this to me? Tifara prepared herself for the worst to come.
