Lan Du waited as time passed slowly, her eyes are glued to the door, waiting for what she had planned for. Soon, she heard the sound of multiple cars streaking and parking nearby.

She smiled as the door opened and a group of men rushed in, they surrounded the vicinity, with Lan Du and the young man in the centre. A man walked forward slowly as he glanced at Lan Du before his eyes landed on little three.

"Xiao San!" He exclaimed in shock

(Xiao means little in Chinese and San means three in Chinese)

Lan Du stood up

"I've wrapped up most the injuries already and medicine has been applied as well, but the vocal cord is out of my abilities"She said apologetically

The man lifted his hand

"No, thank you for helping him, we will do something about his throat"

He then took out a card and gave it to Lan Du.

"Your medical skills are not bad, the bandages are applied perfectly and also holds the injuries well, lad, I will give you special recommendation for the medical team if you want to join our organisation"He said with a serious expression

Lan Du paused

"What benefits can I get from joining?" She asked

The man paused before laughing

"We have a contribution system where if you make contributions, you will be rewarded points in which you can trade in for treasures which help with physical and spiritual strength" He said lightly

Lan Du rubbed her chin

"Will I be tied down, and are there other organisations like this or stronger"Lan Du asked

The man smirked

"Knowing too much won't be good for you, but I will tell you one thing, there are three others that are comparable to us, but none that are above us" He said with a proud expression

Lan Du nodded her head

"Then back to my main question, will I be tied down to any regulations" She asked

The man shook his head

"As long as you never betray us, you can stay free, but there are emergencies that may occur, and you must participate" He replied

Lan Du thought for a moment

"Can I see what rewards I can get from points" She asked

The man waved his hand and someone behind him took out a tablet. It flashed and items filled the screen.

"These are the basic items you can obtain, the advanced or higher items are locked away until you join" He said with a smirk

Lan Du scrolled through, the more she did so, the more her eyes lit up.

'Spiritual Dew is on the list, and this is only the basic items...'

"I'll join, but not as a medical team member, but as a fighter"She said with a serious expression

The man lifted his brows

"Fighter? Your body is so skinny and petite, how can you be a fighter" He said with a trace of dissatisfaction and doubt.

Lan Du's eyes became cold, what she hated most was people underestimating her. She reached out her hand and placed it on the steel pole beside her.

"I hate being underestimated"She said coldly, she clenched her hand and the pole bent in under her grasp.

"This-"

Lan Du clenched further, the area she held was slowly compressed down under the strength of her grasp. The people nearby were shocked, the man in front of her stared at her with glistening eyes.

"Good, good, good, you have the right to join, but remember, never show arrogance in the organisation, there are plenty of people more capable than you, but you are still young, so your potential is more precious, I hope you won't let me down" He took out a contract and passed it to her.

"Read it over, if there is nothing you're dissatisfied with, you may sign it"

Lan Du read through the contract, there wasn't any binding rules on it, nor was there any rules that would go against her usual ways of doing things. Though there are punishments for different things, but she didn't really put it to mind since she wouldn't make too much contact with them anyway.

She took out a pen and signed the contract, the benefits she could get outweighs the conditions on the contract, so she didn't mind.

"We'll be colleagues from now on"The man smiled and took the contract back

Lan Du nodded

"What rank do you possess within the organisation"She asked

The man shook his head

"The organisation is deep, even I don't know the true strength behind, so my ranking is very insignificant compared to others in the organisation" He said wryly

Lan Du was quite surprised, she never knew there are organisations like this that was hidden so deeply, and there are three others like this.

She glanced at the young man on the ground, and she smiled lightly before removing her mask

"We'll be colleagues from now on..." She smirked and squatted down beside him, she scribbled something on a piece of paper and tucked it into his pocket.

'Let's see how he'd react when the one torturing him becomes his colleague'

She stood up and took out her phone

"The contract stated that you needed a way of contact with me, will a phone number do?" She held her phone towards him and said casually

The man turned and was shocked by Lan Du's youthful face, he was expecting her to be young but not as young as how she is now. He paused before nodding his head and took the phone.

"A phone number will do" He then saved his number into her phone before handing it back to her

Lan Du giggled and clasped her hand

"Well, tell me when there are opportunities to increase my points, for now, I gotta go back before it gets dark, my little pumpkins are still waiting for me to join them in dinner"Lan Du smiled charmingly before leaving the warehouse.

The man sighed to himself

"He's a very promising young man....but why do I suddenly have a bad premonition" He mumbled to himself

"Sir, Xiao San woke up"A medical department unit walked over and reported to him

"Alright, how is he?" He asked

"Well...he can speak now after we injected some Green herb fluids into his body, but he seems 

to be a bit mentally unstable currently" The person rubbed his head and said

The captain nodded his head, he walked over to Xiao San and knelt down beside him.

"How are you right now, who attacked you to cause all this"He asked lightly, his voice also had a commanding tone

Xiao San gulped

"It was, it was the young man who called you, where is he, you mustn't believe him, he removed my ability to speak, so I couldn't interfere when he lied to you all"Xiao San said hurriedly

The captain lifted his brows as his eyes widened in shock

"Him!? Haiz, no wonder I had a bad premonition when he agreed to join us, looks like we have a little troublemaker with us now"He shook his head and sighed

Xiao San was stupefied

"He joined!? T-Then what the hell was the point of enduring his torture! If he was going to join us either way, why was I tortured!" He held his head and roared

The man patted his shoulders

"I will later punish him for this, but now that you two are colleagues, I don't wish to see an internal strife"

Lan Du who was still walking away suddenly sneezed, she turned her head back and rubbed her nose.

"That little runt must have woken up and spoken bad about me, next time I meet him I'll need to punish him a little" She muttered to herself and continued to walk.

She had already removed all disguise on her, she also changed into a hoodie which made her seem much more approachable and carefree.

She hummed silently to herself, feeling good about hat had happened today.

Lan Du stood in front of a house, it was the twin's place, she walked forward and knocked on the door. When the door opened, mother Xie gazed at her and asked.

"Were you able to do it?" She asked

Lan Du chuckled

"When I say I'll do something, I'll do it, also, take these files, sticking with that man isn't good for my little pumpkins, you may use these as evidence to have a divorce, even if the judge is biased towards your husband, the evidence here is solid"Lan Du passed over some files and walked past her.

"Now where's my sweet little devils hiding"She giggled and said gently

Mother Xie heard her and almost laughed out loud, she didn't know where Lan Du came up with these nicknames for her daughter, but she found them cute and fun to the ear. But when she looked through the files, she realised how drastic the information was.

She then smiled lightly

"Your dear little pumpkins are in their bedrooms waiting for their prince charming"She called out

Lan Du nearly tripped

"Prince charming, too corny, I consider myself a future freeloader inside a rich family's house"Lan Du giggled and walked upstairs.

Her words made mother Xie feel not only confused but also a great sense of humour. Who would call themselves a future freeloader so easily, if not it being a joke?

She didn't mind it and laughed

"You can freeload all you want, but if you have kids, you're still paying for the child care services"

This time, Lan Du really did trip and fall, mother Xie heard the loud thump and snickered.

"It's too early for a kid like you to be a freeloader, messing with me is your worst mistake" She hummed and went to the kitchen to continue preparing the meals.

She later received a phone call from the hospital that her husband was attacked by two unidentified people and is now recovering from a broken leg.

When she heard this news, she started laughing to herself, she now felt energised and continued making dinner. Lan Du walked up the stairs and saw two rooms, one was the twin's room and the other was mother Xie's room.

She heard a sound coming from the room on the left, so she walked over and knocked gently on the door.

"Xie Jing, Xie Ying, I'm here for a quick talk" Lan Du opened the door, however, out of her expectations, the twins were changing inside! Their smooth skin were completely exposed, wearing only their underwear they stared back at her in a daze.

She froze, she then chuckled awkwardly before closing the door slowly

The twins didn't even have time to react, it was only by the time Lan Du closed the door did they suddenly snap out of their daze.

"KYAA!" They screamed in both surprise and embarrassment

After a few minutes, tehyc finished changing

"L-L-L-Lan D-Du! G-Get back in here!" They shouted

Lan Du poked her head into the room

"Oh, embarrassed? No worries, I didn't see anything"

"Lier!" They shouted in unison

Lan Du laughed awkwardly as she scratched her head

"Then how can I repay you two?" She asked sweetly as she gave the two a winkSeeing her like this, they really didn't kno what to ask of her, they paused before replying slowly:

"T-Then, show u-us y-your body then" Their voices trembled slightly, Lan Du knew they were very shy about it and found it cute.

However, beneath her clothes were secrets she never wish to reveal. She decided to take a more drastic method this time as she dropped to her knees.

"Ah, I'm so sorry, please forgive me, I promise to never do it again, I'll never peep on my future wives changing" Lan Du cried out

Xie Jing and Xie Ying only became even more flustered, especially when she said they were her future wives. They both blushed and covered their faces. The tip of their ears were burning red as they began to heat up.

Lan Du giggled as she stood up and walked over.

"I'm sorry, but next time you should lock the door, or this big bad wolf will eat you both up" 

She chuckled and placed a hand on both their heads.

The two of them gave him a light punch on the chest

"Today I went to meet your father, he is just trash that will only hurt you, I have already given your mother everything it takes to divorce him, I hope you will understand me" Lan Du's face became serious as she said lightly, hoping to not anger them in any way.

They froze but soon shook their heads

"We knew he was a bad influence, but he was the reason we were surviving all this time, he bought this house and earned most the income for us, we...are also in his debt" They said witha. hint of guilt

Lan Du smiled

'They are both caring, even though that man has done all those things, they still feel guilty'

She stroked their heads

"Don't worry, if anything, I'll pay off your debts for you, if you were in debt, how can I freeload off you in the future?" Lan Du chuckled and said gently

Her attitude brought back the smooth and cheerful mood, they giggled and ran into her arms.

"Lan Du, when we first entered the academy, we requested to be in your group, in truth, we didn't even know why, but when we saw you, it felt as if it was fate that we met" They said in unison, every word tehy said was as if they planned it yet Lan Du knew they didn't.

"Oh? Are you sure it wasn't my dashing good looks?" Lan Du said smuggly

The two of them giggled

"When we first joined your group, we were afraid you might have been like our father, someone who disrespects our rights, but you stood up for us and defended us, even treating us like family" They burrowed deeper into her embrace and snuggled in her arms.

"Ah? Like family? S-So we're not family?" Lan Du said in a pained tone

The siblings knew she was messing around so they laughed

"Silly...it isn't official yet" They muttered shyly

Lan Du felt her heart flutter for a second, they admitted it!

'T-They are finally accepting me whole heartedly' Lan Du smiled gently

"Wah, you two are so cute" Lan Du said sweetly as she cuddled them

They then heard a light snicker

"Seems like you three are going well, I won't disturb you anymore, continye, don't mind me" They turned their heads and saw mother Xie poking her head through the door as she held a camera in her hand.

*Click*

They then heard her snap. photo of them before she ran off.

"M-Mother!" Xie Jing and Xie Ying shouted

Lan Du gritted her teeth and also shouted out

"W-Wait!" She called out

The twins were honestly surprised that Lan DU alos called out, they expected her to tease them more due to this.

Mother Xie poked her head back in

"Oh? What is it?" She asked innocently

The twins glanced at Lan Du

"How can you do such a thing! At least take it on a phone so you can send it to me!" Lan Du added, her words made the twins realise Lan Du was annoyed at a completely different thing!

Mother Xie snickered

"Oh, alright, that was bad on me" She giggled and snuck in a photo with her phone

Lan Du gave her a thumps up and nodded her head

"L-Lan Du, you fool!" The twins grabbed her collar as they shouted out with a red face.

Lan Du chuckled and took a step back

"Now now, don't be so angry, isn't it nice to preserve some memories?" Lan Du said warmly

The twins glared at her

"You're so good at enticing us with words, have you done the same with other girls" They puffed their cheeks and asked

Lan Du's expression instantly dropped, she frowned lightly and patted their heads

"I'm sorry if that was the feeling I gave you two...I will never do anything unfaithful"She then stepped back and walked out the room in silence.

Mother Xie frowned lightly as she walked in the room, the twins were quite shocked by Lan 

Du's sudden change, she walked out and her back seemed lonely.

"My girls, sometimes your small remarks can cause more damage than you think, though I haven't met Lan DU for long, I can tell he's very prideful, what you have said not only hurt his pride, but also made him question your trust about him" She said solemnly

They looked down and guilt rose, they sworn to never make Lan Du show that face again yet it has happened once again.

"You two should apologise later, he seems quite hurt, but that lad's heart is quite unstable, I'll go talk with him later, maybe I can calm him down a bit" She said gently and walked out as well.

The twins nodded and sat in the room in silence.
