The Challenge Part 2

"Boss how did you find out where I lived!?"

"You were almost late for our trip and your parents let me inside so you better hurry up because, we have to be there in 30 minutes everyone else is already there and I would never leave someone behind so I'll be downstairs waiting for you."

"Okay, I'll get ready."

With that Sora heads downstairs thinking "I'll never leave another person behind never again!"

Sora sits on a couch while Gin's father sits on the couch across from him. There is an ever-so-slight tension between the two men. Sora gives off a frosty aura while Gin's father sits there confused about why his son's boss is seemingly judging him.

"Who wants some hot tea!!?"

Gin's mother walks into the room with three cups of tea. Both of the men look at her which makes her back away from them in understanding while sweating bullets at the two men's aura. Gin's father was holding back something but at that moment his patience wavered and all he wanted to say busted out of his mouth.

"I know about the soul hunters."

Sora froze, "Who leaked private information to the public? Was it Gin? No, then how does he know about the soul hunters!?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about I'm just a simple restaurant manager."

"There is no need to lie to me, popsicle."

Gin's father's eyes narrow as Sora's eyes begin to widen in complete shock and realization. Sora freezes.

"The only person to call me popsicle was general Shiro back in my cadet days so are you telling me that Gin's father is general Hiro!?"

"Hahahaha you don't think that I would recognize my own soldier's aura ha you act just like Nomura hahaha!"

"Then is Gin's mother Lady Natsume the primary advisor of the previous soul king Vike!?"

"Yup in fact that's how we met the strongest advisor and the cadet general what an odd pairing am I right!?"

"Wait so is it true that Lady Natsume almost destroyed the entire milky way in the fight with the previous demon king!?"

"Yep, I witnessed with my own two eyes!" 

"You do know that Gin is Vikes reincarnation right?"

Gin's father grins.

"Honestly, I had no idea! But now that I know I'm extremely scared."

Gin's father continues to laugh while tears roll down his face.

"May I ask why?"

"Because I don't want my beautiful baby boy to die before I do!!!"

He wipes away tears. Sora grits his teeth in reaction to his former general in tears.

"General Shiro, I promise to protect Gin even if it costs me my own life I swear!!!"

General Shiro gets on his hands and knees thanking Sora up and down. Gin walks into the room and sees his father on his hands and knees for his boss. An awkward silence filled the room before Sora motioned for Gin to follow him into his car. As Gin and Sora head to the bus stop, there is utter silence.

The soul king dashes towards Kodomo and chops him on the back of his neck knocking him out before he could even react. The soul king then stretches and focuses his attention on Hoshi. Seeing this Hoshi prepares an attack and smashes into the ground with incredible force sending rocks flying everywhere.

"Ground Shaker!!!"

The ground begins to shake violently and the ground around the soul king begins to shift and mold into sharp spikes. The spikes then rush toward the soul king at blinding speeds. The attack hits him making a deep cut on his left leg.

The soul king merely shrugs off the attack and continues to advance toward Hoshi. Seeing this Shinko prepares an attack of her own. See visualizes a chained mace and increases its size and then a moment later a bright pink orb appeared in her hand and then disappeared. A second later a huge chained mace appeared in her hands.

"Creation! Big Chained Mace!!!"

She swings the mace at high speeds toward the soul king trying to intercept him from reaching Hoshi. She then realizes if that mace hit him he would grab it with his hand and fling her into a wall. She then changes her approach and prepares to clone herself.

"Cloning is risky it takes up a lot of riki but, I only need one which should suffice. Creation! Spirit Clone!!!"

A being made of pink light appears next to Shinko. The being then forms into an identical clone of Shinko which wields another chained mace. The clone then swings its mace toward the soul king at even faster speeds than Shinko's.

The two maces slam into both of the soul king's hands with incredible force. The spikes pierced through his hands and caused visible pain on his face then a lot of blood spewed out of his hands and onto the ground. The soul king cursed Shinko under his breath and began to feel light-headed due to the blood loss.

Seeing the soul king's temporary distraction Hoshi decided to execute the finishing blow and charged toward the soul king who is cramped in between the spikes leaving his stomach wide open. Hoshi begins to coat his right fist in riki for a few minutes and then smiles. The action of him simply charging an attack caused a massive earthquake.

Sora and Gin arrive at the bus stop and board the bus with seconds to spare. They both board the bus Gin sits next to Dangan while Sora sits next to Tsuyoi. Yasuko who is sitting next to Akai notices Akai glaring at Gin angrily and was going to question it when the ground begins to shake. But, Yasuko uses his power to keep everyone in their seats. 

Hoshi finishes charging and the earthquake stops.

"It's ready!!! Sunny Days!!!"

Hoshi slowly marches toward the soul king. Hoshi swings his arm back while the soul king grins. He throws the punch which lands inches away from the soul king's face. The soul king activates 48% of his aura which heals all of his injuries and also destroys the maces and sends Hoshi flying back.

"I believe this is what they call, checkmate."

Shinko walks over to the soul with her head hung low.

"You manage to take on some of our strongest attacks in your base without using a drop of your power and for that, I give up you win."

"That's what you get for underestimating me now take Kodomo and-"

The tall slender 7"8 Hoshi gets back up with determination in his eyes.

"Hold your tongue Shinko! I haven't given up yet not until he knocks me out cold!!!" 

Hoshi rushes toward the soul king with his long black hair flowing in the wind. Before he even manages to get within 2 feet of the soul king when the soul king suddenly appears directly behind him delivering a devastating kick to his back. Hoshi's eyes go blank as he falls face first with a loud "thud!"

"Now before I was so rudely interrupted take Kodomo and Hoshi and get out of here I wish to be alone!" 

"Yes my lord."

Shinko then throws Kodomo and Hoshi on her back like a sack of potatoes as both she and the soul king leave the arena. She then destroys the arena she created for the fight as she and the soul king head their separate ways. The soul King sits on a nearby tree and takes a bite of an apple.

The bus makes it to Nomura's base. It's a tall skyscraper about 1,777 feet tall. Gin looks up in amazement at the tall skyscraper. Sora texts Nomura about their arrival and then turns around to face everyone.

"Everyone, we're here!"
