Prologue: Diamond and Air

“Will you marry me?”

She seemed amused at the proposal, but there were tears in her eyes.

“For real? Even when you know nothing about me?” She twirled.

She was the cutest girl I’ve ever met and will ever meet.

“You don’t know who I am, what I do, who my parents are, but you want to marry me?”

She was right. I knew nothing. I’m just a lovestruck young man. Still…

“Don’t you want to spend the rest of your life with me?”

She shrugged with a smile.

“You tease.” I pouted.

“Hey, don’t be mad.”

“So what’s your answer? Is it a yes or a no?”

“Ask again. Properly.” She hid her hands behind her back. Gosh, she was so cute.

I took a small velvet box from my pocket.

“Kazakiri Kuuga, please marry me!”
